Drain the Lake Roblox — Update, Stats, Guides & Codes (2026)
Drain the Lake is the breakout incremental simulator of summer 2026 on Roblox: your phone fell into the lake, so you bail bucket after bucket, drain for tokens, upgrade a Skill Tree, and push deeper until you find your phone. Live on place ID 138381251771774 and launched June 3, 2026, it has already passed 109 million visits with 25,867 players in-game as of July 24, 2026. This is the front door for everything we cover: the current update, live numbers, our full guide, the honest codes status, and a Fisch comparison. On codes specifically — there is no public code system yet, and we track that on the Drain the Lake codes page.

Drain the Lake is on its first major content patch, Update 1 — the Shark Update. The game's Roblox experience was last updated July 21, 2026 (per the Roblox games API, as of July 24, 2026), following the Update 1 rollout in mid-July. The headline additions are:
- Deep-lake predators: sharks now patrol the water and appear more often the deeper you go, plus an anglerfish that lurks in the lower zones — the creature teased before the patch shipped.
- Seven depth checkpoints: progression runs through Surface Lake, Cavern, Mine Shaft, Molten Zone, Lost City, The Abyss, and The Phone, with each tier paying out more per drain.
- Skill Tree overhaul: reworked bucket-capacity, fill-speed, and depth upgrade branches so you can specialise your build.
- Bucket Wheel gacha: a spin wheel with four wheel-exclusive buckets, plus new Shark, grind, difficulty, and challenge badges on the official Badges API.
- Find My Phone ending: the run now has a defined end goal at the bottom of the lake.
There is no in-game text-code box; instead, opening the Update Log menu grants a one-time 2x Wheel Spin and 250 Gems as an Update 1 reward.
What's next for Drain the Lake?
The developer — the IWTM10GTMPLS Roblox group — ships update news through the game's X account and Discord rather than in-game patch notes, so those are the channels to watch. The anglerfish that previewed Update 1 has now arrived, and as of July 24, 2026 there is no publicly dated next major update. Judging by the cadence so far — a June 3 launch followed by the Shark Update in mid-July — the next content drop looks likely to keep to a roughly monthly rhythm, but we will only list a date once the developer confirms one. We will not invent a roadmap.
