What's the current Drill to Earth's Core update?
The shipped build is the August 15, 2026 update. The developers use no version numbers; they title drops by contents, and this is the Executioner one:
- Executioner, a class costing 30,000 Cores: a 100-base-damage sword and +100% damage to bosses across melee, guns, explosives and pickaxe. At Level 3 bosses always drop a gem; the Level 4 team bonus needs 20,000,000 total depth.
- Bombo, a walking bomb that goes for your drill, not you. It hits welded and crafted items first and disables everything in the blast radius for one minute. It always explodes when defeated, and spawns from the Crystal Layer.
- Simon the Shopkeeper in towns past the Dirt Layer, plus a Void Simon boss fight.
- Story Quests, cutscenes and an objectives screen, with quests now paying Coins. Two balance lines matter more than they read: players regenerate 1 HP every 12 seconds, and teleporters are disabled while a boss wall is active.
Three independent things date it. The Executioner badge was created on Roblox's badge API on August 14, 2026 (496 holders by August 21); the community wiki republished the developers' Discord notes on August 16; and IntelBricks logged this game's highest observed concurrent count, 10,623, on August 15.
One thing to ignore: the universe's updated stamp now reads August 19, 2026, 19:46 UTC, and trackers will call that a patch. It is not. In the nine minutes before it the developers created two future events, and a badge named Witch appeared that day — still on zero awards two days later. Staged, not shipped.

Real dated evidence, for once: the developers publish drops as Roblox events, and three are on the board.

Only September carries a description, in the developers' own words: "New lobby, new ranking system, major content update!" The August drops are deliberately titled ???. The staged Witch badge is the obvious candidate for August 22 — that is what the Executioner looked like the day before launch — but the developers have not said so, and we will not pretend they did. Beyond September 21 there is no roadmap and the group shout is empty.
