Loot the Wasteland. Search containers and defeated enemies. End-game loot containers hold the highest-durability weapons and best gear.
Trade with NPCs. Sell loot for Rubles and buy the gear you need; better stock unlocks as you complete a trader's quests.
Extract to keep it. None of it counts until you reach an Extraction Point and survive the 20-second countdown back to the Metro.
Buy Delta Bux with Robux if you want skins — these carry over through Wipes.
