Three strings circulate as of September 11, 2026 — Summer2026, plsfix and FREE — each listed for 200 Delta Bux. We publish none. One usable operator carries them, on a reader-submitted list showing 3 active against 0 expired — it has never retired anything. That reward is not a property of the codes either: the PROMO CODE tile is permanently labelled "200 Delta Bux — Free", so any site reading the panel reports it for any string. The two sites repeating the list are copies, one registered August 17, 2026, nine days after the strings first surfaced. And no developer source mentions a code: not the description, the patch notes, the 26 badges or the group shout. The wiki has no codes page either.

Yes. Two in-game screenshot sets taken at different times — their NPC dialogue trees differ — show one route:
- Spawn into the Metro and head for the glowing pink marker over the rewards box.
- Press F on the Wastelander NPC beneath it.
- Choose the first option, "I want to trade."
- In the Delta Bux shop, find the PROMO CODE tile among the Bux tiles.
- Click Enter Code, type it, confirm with Enter. No source states whether the box is case-sensitive — type it exactly as published.
How to Get Free Rewards Without Codes
Delta Bux only buys skins. The wiki's Rubles page is explicit that rubles are the game's only physical currency and that Delta Bux exists purely for the Designer's skin crates — so a code here is cosmetic, not power. An update is when a code is likeliest to drop, and one is live: the virtual-events API dates Metro Pt. 2 from 19:00 UTC on August 21, 2026 to 09:00 UTC on September 25, 2026, filed by Vikings Studio as an expansion. No code came with it. The updated stamp moved again at 11:25 UTC on August 30 with no badge, event or pass change behind it — not a patch. Concurrent players held a 7-day median of 3,420 (28 readings, 1,480–7,667, August 19–26, 2026): 2,211 before the expansion, 3,895 since. A single 19:57 UTC read on September 1, 2026 returns 2,531 — one point, not a median, and near the bottom of that band.
