Search For The Needle Codes [Index + Pets] (September 2026) – Free Gems & Alien Coins

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: September 12, 2026

Codes in Search For The Needle pay out Gems, the currency you spend rolling classes, plus the game's alien-themed currency and timed luck boosts. Two are live as of September 12, 2026 — PETS, which arrived with today's Index + Pets update and which no tracker has published yet, and ALIEN from Chapter 2. Garage Games shipped the game on August 23, 2026 and it was holding 75,946 concurrent players when we pulled the Roblox API at 19:55 UTC on September 12, 2026 — a single snapshot, and nearly double its Chapter 2 figure.

Why you can trust PETS before anyone else lists it. It is not something we found on another site: an Earnaldo player redeemed it inside the game and the recording is linked in the table, showing 200 Gems and a 30-minute 2X Luck event landing. Roblox's own virtual-events feed puts the Index + Pets update at 15:00 UTC on September 12, 2026, which is where a pets code belongs; the developers have renamed the experience [🐶] Search For The Needle with a dog emoji; and this page predicted that window as "the one to watch" six days ago. Pro Game Guides and Pocket Tactics both still list ALIEN alone.

How to Redeem Codes in Search For The Needle

This is read off frames of the game's own interface — a creator video published September 6, 2026 that shows the panel open with a code typed in — not a tracker's boilerplate.

1. Launch [👽] Search For The Needle (place ID 77108422251420) and wait until you are standing in the farm area.
2. Look at the right-hand edge of the screen: a vertical stack of three square buttons. The top one is a blue bird icon labelled “Codes”, with Stats beneath it and Inventory beneath that.
3. Tap Codes. A dark panel opens headed “Input codes for rewards!” with a single text field.
4. Type the code in. Both codes appear in capitals in footage — PETS and ALIEN. No source states whether the field is case-sensitive, so match the case rather than guessing.
5. Press the green Redeem button under the field. The Gems counter in the top bar is where you confirm it worked.

How to Get More Search For The Needle Codes

The Roblox description is not a source here. We re-fetched it on September 6, 2026 and it carries no code block — just the pitch (“a chill cozy game about finding a Needle in a giant pile of Hay”) and a tag list. Unusual for this genre, and it means codes surface elsewhere. Two channels we verified by hand:

• The Garage Games Discord. The invite discord.gg/nEVSWD6kum resolves to a live server literally named Garage Games, carrying the GARA server tag, with 1,954 members and 361 online when we queried Discord's invite API on September 6, 2026. One caveat: the account that issued the invite is not the Roblox group's owner, so the invite proves the server's name and tag, not ownership.
• The Roblox group. Garage Games (group ID 279288859), owned by vice_DEV, had 295,947 members on September 6, 2026. Joining pays a one-time 25 Gems from a board in the lobby.

We could not verify an X handle for Garage Games, so we are not printing one. Search results for this title are also full of freshly registered single-game “wiki” domains. We cite none of them.

Why Aren't My Codes Working?

Check the case first. The code renders in uppercase inside the game's own field. Trackers routinely normalise code case in rendered text, which is how a working code becomes a “dead” one.

You may have already used it. Roblox code systems are almost always one redemption per account, and this game keeps a persistent Gems balance across rounds, so a second attempt will fail even while the code is live for everyone else.

Your server may be old. The place was republished at 23:17 UTC on September 5, 2026, about eight hours after the Chapter 2 event went live. Leave and rejoin to land on a server running the current build.

Codes here are tied to updates. The game is 20 days old as of September 12, 2026, so nothing has expired yet — that is a function of its age, not of generosity. ALIEN survived the Index + Pets update rather than being replaced by it, but expect it to be switched off around UPDATE 3 on September 19.

When Are New Codes Released?

There is not enough history to promise a cadence, and we would rather say so than invent one. What the Roblox endpoints do give is a precise update rhythm, which codes have tracked so far.

The Chapter 2 event — filed under “new map”, subtitled “Story continues” — was created August 29, 2026 and went live at 15:00 UTC on September 5, 2026, running to September 15, 2026. Its badge, Finished Chapter 2! (“You found the key and escaped the basement!”), was created at 12:19 UTC on September 5, 2026 and had 204,143 awards by September 6. ALIEN surfaced in that same window, as did a new pass, Fast Rolls (179 Robux), created September 5, 2026.

That prediction held. When this page was written, the next event on the calendar was Index + Pets, subtitled “New Content!”, scheduled for 15:00 UTC on September 12, 2026, and we called it the window to watch. It opened on time and PETS came with it, redeemed by an Earnaldo player the same day. So the pattern now has two data points rather than one: a code drops with each event, within hours of the window opening.

The next event is already booked — UPDATE 3, starting at 15:00 UTC on September 19, 2026, running a week. On this cadence, expect a third code then, and expect ALIEN to be the one switched off.

Alien theming is older than Chapter 2. The Find the UFO badge was created on August 25, 2026 and has 678,000 awards as of September 6, 2026 — the ALIEN string fits a theme this game has carried since its first week, which is why we read it as native rather than transplanted from another title.

Free Gems Without a Code

Codes are the fast route, not the only one. The one guide that actually enumerates the economy — All Things How, September 2, 2026 — puts internally consistent numbers on it.

• The daily login track runs eight days: +10 on day 1, +120 on day 2, +50 on each of days 3–7, and +500 on day 8 — 880 Gems per full cycle.
• A class roll costs 40 Gems, so one login cycle is 22 rolls. Eight classes are in the pool: Starter, Pack Mule, Hay Merchant, Forkmaster, Demolitionist, Prospector, Drone Specialist and Ultimate Farmer.
• The group board pays 25 Gems once, from the lobby next to the update sign.

For context on the paid alternative, the live game-pass endpoint on September 6, 2026 returned seven passes on sale: 2x Gems at 39 Robux, Permanent Infinite Bag and Permanent Pitchfork at 99 each, Permanent Drone at 129, Permanent Dynamite at 149, Fast Rolls at 179 and Vacuum (PERMANENT) at 249.

How We Verified This List

On September 6, 2026 we pulled the Roblox games, votes, badges, virtual-events, group and game-pass endpoints directly rather than trusting a tracker's numbers, and re-read the description for a code block (there is none). For the code we used two independently owned sources: Try Hard Guides, published September 5, 2026, which lists ALIEN as its only entry; and a creator video published September 6, 2026 whose frames show ALIEN typed into the game's own “Input codes for rewards!” panel — also the source for the redeem-box location above. Pro Game Guides carries the same code but was Cloudflare-blocked to us, so we have not counted it. Mechanics numbers come from All Things How (September 2, 2026). Full process: how we verify codes.

The stats above are a single live pull, not a cached figure: 39,923 concurrent players, 7,644,396 visits, 30,046 favourites and a 94.5% like ratio (43,006 up against 2,524 down) as of September 6, 2026. Badge counts give a sense of how far players get: 3,780,862 have the Welcome! badge but only 1,082,706 have Found the Needle! — about 29% — as of September 6, 2026.
