The current Adopt Me update is the Star Rewards revamp, live Friday, September 11, 2026. The fixed daily-login track is gone, replaced by a Star shop and a 28-Star Gemstone Egg. More on the Adopt Me hub.
Current update: Star Rewards (September 11, 2026)
Uplift's post "New Star Rewards!" by Kotney is dated Friday, September 11, 2026 and sits above Fairytale Castle Notes in the studio's feed — the patch this page carried before it. Roblox's matching record opened 15:05 UTC, or 11:05 ET. That pins the cadence at Fridays, 11:05 ET, not Thursdays: September 4, 11 and 18 are all Fridays.
It's a permanent swap, not an event, so there's no end date. It isn't the debut of Star Rewards either — that system launched in March 2020.
What Stars buy now
You earn one Star a day for logging in, plus Bucks. The old fixed items on fixed days, and the bonus Stars every fifth login, are both gone.

28 Stars is roughly 28 days of logins, and there's no Robux or Bucks price. Time is the only currency it takes. Eleven pets are in the pool.

That 0.05% is roughly 1 in 2,000, on a month-long egg. Rankings sit on our best pets and tier list pages. Disputed: allthings.how counts "six Legendary"; Uplift gives the penguin no tier.
The Diamond Unicorn. Uplift returns old rewards through the Gemstone Egg "with the exception of the Diamond Unicorn". The Golden is in the pool; the Diamond isn't, so it's trade-only now. Some posts said "leaving the game", which is the weaker reading. Old progress was claimed automatically, plus the next three free — see our beginner's guide.
How players are reacting
Reaction is still settling, and we'd rather say so than manufacture a consensus. Community account @AMGlormies called all of this on September 7, 2026, Diamond Unicorn included — the change biting hardest, since a pet nobody can earn only moves by trade. Reddit, the wiki and YouTube were unreachable on September 13, so we have no player quotes yet.
Are there any codes in this update?
No. The notes ship no code, and Adopt Me hands out rewards in-game instead of running a public code system. Aggregators contradict each other this week, and none is tied to Star Rewards. Our codes page tracks it; how we verify sets the bar.

A date, not a patch. The next update window is booked for Friday, September 18, 2026 at 15:05 UTC, created September 4 with the boilerplate title every week carries.
