S Tier — The Best Gear in Booga Booga Reborn

These two sets are the endgame. Both take serious grinding to build, and once you have them you're one of the hardest players to kill on any server. The split between them is simple: one is a pure tank, the other keeps your voodoo bar alive.

God Armor

God Armor is the straight tank pick and the single most durable set in the game. Each piece gives roughly 25% damage reduction, which stacks to around 75% across the full set, and the complete set adds about +150 HP. In practice that means basic weapons barely scratch you and even strong hits get chewed down to a fraction of their damage.

You craft it by upgrading a full Pink Diamond Armor set with gold — roughly 45 Gold Bars and 18 Crystals for the complete set. The one catch is that God Armor does not regenerate the voodoo/spell bar, so if your build leans on spells you'll feel that gap. For raw survivability in a raid or a straight brawl, nothing beats it.

Void Armor

Void Armor is the pick for spell and voodoo users. The full set adds about +130 HP — a touch less than God — but its defining perk is that it regenerates the void/voodoo bar, which God Armor can't do. If you fight with voodoo, that regen changes how long you can keep casting in a drawn-out fight.

It's crafted by upgrading a full Magnetite Armor set with 12 Void Shards. The community consensus lands on a hybrid loadout: wear God Armor for raids and pure tanking, then swap to Void when you need voodoo regen to keep your spells online. Owning both is the real endgame, not picking one.

A Tier — Excellent Armor

These are the mid-to-late progression sets you craft on the way to S tier. They're strong enough to hold your own in most fights and they double as the base materials for God and Void Armor, so building them is never wasted effort.

Pink Diamond Armor

Pink Diamond Armor sits at the top of A tier and gives roughly 18% damage reduction per piece. It's the direct stepping stone to God Armor, so once you've got a full set you're only a gold grind away from the best tank in the game. Plenty of players park here comfortably while they farm the last of their Gold Bars.

Emerald Armor

Emerald Armor also gives around 18% reduction per piece and is one of the more accessible A-tier sets. The set is a helmet, chestplate, and greaves, each costing 3 Emerald — 9 Emerald total for the full kit. It's a common breakpoint where players go from surviving on the edge to holding fights confidently.

Magnetite Armor

Magnetite Armor is the third A-tier set and the base you upgrade into Void Armor. On its own it's a solid durable set, but its real value is as the launchpad for the S-tier voodoo build. If you're planning a spell-focused character, this is the set you specifically want to farm toward.

B Tier — Solid Mid-Game Armor

Crystal Armor, Adurite Armor, and Steel Armor are the bridge gear you craft once you leave the starter islands. They give real protection and let you start venturing into the more dangerous zones to farm the materials for A-tier sets.

Crystal Armor is the strongest of the three and a natural stop once you've unlocked Crystal Island. Adurite and Steel come earlier and are the sets that carry you through the awkward middle of progression, when starter gear no longer keeps you alive but you can't yet reach emeralds or diamonds. Treat all three as temporary — useful, but you should be actively working past them.

C Tier — Starter Armor

Iron Armor, Hide Armor, and Leaf Armor are your first sets, and they exist to keep you alive for the opening stretch. Leaf Armor is the first and weakest, crafted from Leaves you gather right at spawn, and it's barely a step above being naked.

Hide comes from early animal drops and Iron from basic mining, and both are a clear upgrade over leaf without being anything you keep. These sets are fine for surviving your first hour and gathering enough resources to reach the B-tier bridge gear. Replace them as soon as you can — anyone in Crystal or better will run through a C-tier player fast.

Best Weapons & Tools

Melee Weapons

The God Rock is the top-tier weapon and the one endgame players build toward. It costs 3 Mojo Points from the rebirth/Mojo shop and is crafted with roughly 9 Crystal Chunks and 30 Gold. What sets it apart is that it hits both resources and entities — it's a gathering tool and a fighting weapon in one slot, which frees up your inventory.

Below that, the Emerald Blade is a high-hitting melee option that pairs naturally with an Emerald Armor build, and the Silver Blade — added in the 12/20/24 update — is buyable for roughly 200 to 250 gold, making it a strong purchase when you don't have the Mojo Points for a God Rock yet.

Ranged Progression

Ranged weapons follow a clear upgrade path. You start with the Sling, move up to the Bow, then the Iron Bow, then the Crossbow, and finally the Magnetite Crossbow at the top. Each step hits harder and is worth crafting as soon as you can afford the materials, since ranged pressure wins a lot of island skirmishes before anyone closes the distance.

Tools

For pure gathering, the God Axe is the best wood-cutting tool and the God Pickaxe is the best for mining. If you'd rather not carry both a tool and a weapon, the God Rock's ability to hit resources means it can partly cover gathering duty on its own.

Emerald comes from two spots. The Emerald Cavern is hidden behind a large stone near the small Desert Island — inside are 3 Emerald Lodes plus a green portal leading to 9 more. The Icelands are the other source, where Shelbert and 2 Emerald Shellys give you 6 raw emeralds.

Crystal comes from Crystal Island, which you reach using a Spirit/Soul Key in the Spirit Lock. That key drops from the sky-blue Crystal Guardian sphere on Sun Island. Magnetite comes from a Magnetite meteor when one falls, or you can force-spawn one by breaking the Lonely God.
