Forsaken Update [Azure] – Patch Notes & What's Next

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: July 19, 2026

Updated July 19, 2026 — New page. We logged the Azure update the day after it went live and verified every mechanic against the Forsaken Wiki and the official Forsaken Wiki.

Forsaken's Azure update went live early Saturday, July 18, 2026 (around 04:00). It adds Azure (Azurewrath) — the game's 8th and most expensive Killer — plus new map variants, cosmetic remodels, new emotes, and new skins. The horror hit is running around 187,000 concurrent players as of July 19, 2026 on the official Roblox game page.

Current update: Azure

Azure is a trap-and-zone Killer built around setup rather than the raw chase most of Forsaken's roster relies on. His entire kit feeds a resource meter called Oblation, which caps at 15. He builds it mainly by inflicting a status effect named Atropa on survivors.

His signature tool is the Seeker Bulb. After a windup of roughly 8.6 seconds, Azure jabs a tentacle forward and plants a bulb on the surface it hits. The bulbs are triggered by sound — a survivor who sprints or uses an ability nearby sets them off. A triggered bulb fires projectiles that deal 4 damage and apply a stack of Atropa, and it reveals that survivor's aura to Azure for 3 seconds. Survivors can temporarily disarm a planted bulb, but once a plant enters its glowing Blooming state it cannot be disarmed. When his Oblation meter hits maximum, Azure can unleash a Golem to wall off and zone an area, and his snares can grab an injured survivor, hold them for 5 seconds, and hurl them toward him if they fail the resulting quick-time event.

Beyond the Killer, the patch ships new map variants, several character changes and remodels — including a full remodel of the Uncle Sam Slasher cosmetic — new emotes, and fresh skins. Confirmed additions include a Void Azure skin, a Primordial Cool Kid skin, and a new Veronica skin.

What this means for players

Azure flips Forsaken's usual killer meta from chase pressure to area denial. As a survivor, the key habit is to move quietly: walking instead of sprinting and holding abilities near uncleared rooms keeps his bulbs dormant and your aura hidden. Disarm Seeker Bulbs early, before they Bloom — once they glow, your only option is to route around them. Never linger while injured in a vine-heavy corridor, where the grab-and-throw QTE punishes you hardest. And track his Oblation build: if he has been stacking Atropa across your team, a Golem lockdown is coming, so finish objectives and reposition before he seals the room. As a Killer main, Azure rewards patience — plant, herd survivors into your bulbs, and cash Atropa stacks into Golem tempo rather than chasing.

New codes with this update

The Azure update did not add a code system. As of July 19, 2026, Forsaken still has no code redemption box and no working codes — rewards come from winning rounds and completing objectives. Full details are on our Forsaken codes page, which we update the moment a redeem system appears.

Update history

This is the first entry in our on-page history. Each future patch overwrites the "Current update" section above and rolls the previous one down into this dated list.

What's next for Forsaken?

The team has not published a formal roadmap beyond Azure. Community channels have teased follow-ups — an Azure gamepass and more skins appeared in creator previews around launch — but none of that carries an official date, so treat it as a leak. Historically the developers ship a major drop roughly every few weeks, so the next Killer or event is likely within the month. We will update this page and the Forsaken hub the moment anything is officially dated.
