Forsaken Update [RTD Collab] – Patch Notes & What's Next

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: August 26, 2026

Updated August 26, 2026 — No new patch shipped, so the RTD collab stays current. Logged the 2X EXP ending, the staged Summer Games listing and the offsale Emote Pack #3.

Forsaken's biggest August drop isn't a new Killer — it's a crossover. The Retro Tower Defense collab runs August 21 to September 4, 2026. No patch has landed since 5.0.1 on July 22, but two things moved this week: 2X EXP ended and a Summer Games event was staged. Forsaken averages 61,856 concurrent players (our radar's 7-day median as of August 26, 2026) across 5,560,544,061 lifetime visits.

Current update: Retro Tower Defense collab (August 21, 2026)

Roblox's listing, FORSAKEN X RTD EVENT, is hosted by the Retro Tower Defense studio, not the Forsaken Dev Team. It ends 17:00 UTC on September 4, 2026, a window the RTD Wiki confirms, and RTD's universe was still named [FORSAKEN COLLAB] Retro Tower Defense when we read the badges API on August 26. No balance work came with it, so Forsaken still runs 8 playable Killers.

The 2X EXP event has ended

Forsaken's Roblox page carried a [2X EXP⭐] title tag through the collab's opening days and no longer does. Our radar snapshots bracket it: the tag was there at 13:30 UTC on August 24 and gone by 19:30 UTC on August 25, 2026. Dropping the tag is how Forsaken retires the bonus — patch 5.0.1's notes read "Removed x2 EXP Event". Treat that date as inferred: the FORSAKEN Wiki's list of 2X EXP runs still ends at "04/18/2026".

The three free badge skins

You earn these in Retro Tower Defense, not Forsaken, across four rebuilt Forsaken maps. Home Turf wants three Classic Mode wins on any of them and pays Retro Defense Jane Doe; 389,788 players held it as of August 26, 2026, up from 90,469 on August 22. Clean Sweep needs a Normal, no-modifier win on every map for Hyperlaser Chance (171,958). Home Run repeats that sweep on Hard for 4x4x4x4 (93,204) — one in four of the entry-badge crowd, up from one in eight at launch. All expire September 4. A fourth cosmetic, Forest Mage for Dusekkar, went straight to the shop for 800 Player Points.

Are there any Forsaken codes in this update?

No. As of August 26, 2026 Forsaken has no redeem box and no working codes — the wiki still files a code system as upcoming. Our Forsaken codes page covers what does work.

What's next for Forsaken?

The Forsaken Dev Team staged a second Roblox event listing at 05:58 UTC on August 22, 2026: 🌴 SUMMER GAMES, subtitled "A heated new event...", with a dev-written tagline promising "a brand new pass consisting of new cosmetics".

The key detail: it carries no real date. Its window in the virtual-events API reads December 31, 2099 to January 7, 2100 — the placeholder devs leave in when a listing predates its launch date — and the API still reports allThumbnailsCreated: false. We read both fields on August 26, 2026. Summer Games has no announced date; any date quoted elsewhere is unsourced.

One staged asset lines up with it: a game pass named Emote Pack #3, created 21:29 UTC on August 25, 2026 and flagged not for sale. The FORSAKEN Wiki logged it 93 minutes later as offsale with no confirmed cost — an editor's 149 Robux figure is marked "(likely)" in the source. Tying it to the Summer Games tagline is our read, not a dev statement. Two undated gamemodes, Randomizer and The Spectre's Favor, also sit in the pipeline; we'll date them on the Forsaken hub.

How we sourced this

We have no in-game access. Everything here was read from public records on August 26, 2026: Roblox's virtual-events API (Summer Games), the game-passes API (Emote Pack #3), the badges API (award counts) and the games API (players, visits, title), cross-checked on the RTD Wiki and the FORSAKEN Wiki.

Forsaken RTD Collab FAQ

What is the current Forsaken update?
The Retro Tower Defense collab, live August 21 to September 4, 2026: four crossover skins, no new Killer, no balance changes. The 2X EXP event that ran alongside it has ended — the [2X EXP] title tag disappeared between August 24 and 25, 2026.
How do you get the free Forsaken collab skins?
In Retro Tower Defense, not Forsaken. Three Classic Mode wins on any Forsaken map gives Home Turf and Retro Defense Jane Doe; sweeping every map on Normal gives Clean Sweep and Hyperlaser Chance; the same sweep on Hard gives Home Run and 4x4x4x4. All expire September 4, 2026.
Did the RTD collab add codes to Forsaken?
No. Forsaken still has no code redemption system as of August 26, 2026. See our Forsaken codes page for the routes that do work.
