Power a City is a tycoon by the Roblox group Vivat's Workers: buy generators, sell the power they make, expand a grid from a village to a full city. On August 19, 2026 the Roblox API showed 3,403 players in-game, 4,253,578 visits and 27,797 likes to 1,689 dislikes (94.3%) on a game launched June 16, 2026. Servers cap at 6 players; the last update landed August 18, 2026.

RELEASE is the code most search results will still hand you. It was the only code any tracker listed on August 13 and 15, 2026, and one large network still called it active at 03:06 on August 17. Every source that re-checked later that day or on August 19 moved it to expired. Trying it costs nothing — just do not expect it to land.

This game got a wave of same-week coverage and a chunk of it is invented. Naming the fakes so you stop wasting redeem attempts:
POWERGRID, CITYVOLT, MEGAWATTS, ENERGYBOOST and NEWGENERATOR. Five theme-matched codes printed as an "Active Codes" list by one guide site on August 19, 2026. None appears on any other tracker, and that site has a documented habit of inventing plausible codes for games it has not played.
1MVISITS and 100KMEMBERS. From a pair of lookalike fan-wiki domains, not community wikis. One claims "7M+ visits" when the real figure is 4.25 million, calls itself a wiki "for Power Your City" — a different game — and credits the "Restore Power" group, which is that other game's developer. Its invented rewards, "2x Power" and "2x Cash" for five minutes, are just Power a City's paid game pass names reworded.
How to Redeem Codes in Power a City
The code box is inside Settings, not a gift icon or a shop — which is why players think the game has no codes:
- Launch Power a City (place ID 127475054933484) and let your plot load.
- Click the Settings cog in the upper-right corner of the screen.
- At the very top of the Settings panel is the Codes tab, with one empty text field.
- Paste the code exactly as written — no leading or trailing spaces.
- Press Redeem or hit Enter; some builds submit automatically.
- Check both your Cash balance and your generator inventory — rewards arrive as either.
The box returns three distinct messages, and each names your problem: "Invalid Code" is a typo, "Code Expired" means genuinely dead, and "Code Redeemed" means you already claimed it on this account.
Why Aren't My Codes Working?
You are in the wrong game. The biggest cause. Power Your City, by the group Restore Power, is a separate experience — place ID 81549698024226, 9,620,526 visits and 1,962 players on August 19, 2026 — with its own code list. Check the creator name before blaming the code.
Capitalisation. Both confirmed codes are all-caps, no spaces: 2MVISITS starts with the digit 2, not a letter. Copy and paste.
One redemption per account. "Code Redeemed" is not a broken code, it is you. Server-hopping will not reset it.
Server lag after a patch. The game last updated August 18, 2026, and validation can trail a patch by hours. Rejoin a fresh server before writing a new code off.
How to Get More Power a City Codes
The official Discord. The server is ⚡Power a City, invite discord.com/invite/HuUnrBDn4p. On August 19, 2026 we queried Discord's own invite endpoint: it resolves to that server and was created by vivatdev, the same account that owns the Roblox group. Small and new — 1,208 members, 295 online — and where codes land first.
The Vivat's Workers group. Group ID 111213976, 481,367 members as of August 19, 2026, owned by VivatDev. Power a City is its only public experience, so no sibling game's description will leak codes early.
The game description. Read with the English locale forced on August 19, 2026, it lists the generator loop and nothing else — no code line, no milestone teaser. So the description will not warn you when a code drops.
When Are New Codes Released?
Two codes in two months is not a cadence yet, but the trigger is readable: RELEASE was a launch code and 2MVISITS a visit milestone. Milestones and updates, not a schedule.
The paid game passes date the feature work and are the best forward signal available. x2 Power & Demand (2,999 Robux), x2 Offline (799) and x2 Cash (499) went on sale June 28, 2026; Storm Shield (799) on July 10; x2 Speed (199) and x2 Stock (799) on August 8. All six are for sale as of August 19, 2026 — which also confirms the demand, storm and stock systems are real mechanics rather than blog invention. That is a content beat every three to five weeks, each a realistic code opportunity. The next obvious milestone is 5 million visits, arriving in early September 2026 at the current rate.
The audience is holding, not fading: all five badges were created July 18, 2026 and the Welcome badge has been awarded 1,755,705 times, 114,988 of those in the 24 hours to August 19. Our radar's 7-day median was 4,470 across 28 samples, peaking at 7,386 on August 15.
How We Verified This List
Our full method is on the how we verify codes page. For Power a City, on August 19, 2026 we ran the delisting redirect test (301 to its live URL, so it is not taken down), pulled live stats, votes, badges, passes and the raw description from the Roblox API with the English locale forced, and confirmed the Discord invite through Discord's own endpoint.
For the codes we cross-referenced Pocket Tactics (August 19, 2026), Sportskeeda (August 17) and Game Rant (August 19) — three separately-owned publishers, all listing 2MVISITS active and RELEASE expired. Pro Game Guides (August 15) and Destructoid (August 17) still show RELEASE as the only code; they share an owner, count as one source, and both pre-date the switch.
Three sources were rejected outright: one guide site printing five invented codes, and the two lookalike fan-wikis. Two more sat behind a bot check we could not clear, so nothing from them was used.
