The event listing is subtitled "some love for the biomes", with the stated aim of "improving the weaker biomes" and keeping items consistent across them. Its window closes August 29 at 18:00 UTC.

The tablet is the standout. Use it and the boost fires whenever you leave the fire radius, pad or not, and the pad stops needing a charge. Boars now drop boar tusks; the helmet raises defense significantly and grants poison immunity. The gem cut is the nerf to plan around — a palace-first route is two-thirds weaker than on August 21.
Minor changes and new badges
Healing items now show a green hue in the hotbar, scorpion nest eyes got a new graphic, saplings no longer fuel the fire, the Volcanic Church's Infernal Chest became a Hot Chest, and Blue Frogs drop Blue Frog Legs. Three badges were created August 22; at 05:07 UTC on August 29, 2026 the API reports 589,320 Nestbuilding, 444,074 Aerodynamics and 221,312 Bellringing awards.
What it changes for players
