Anime Last Stand Update [Shibuya Pt.1] – Patch Notes & What's Next
The current Anime Last Stand patch is Shibuya Pt.1, a Jujutsu Kaisen wave live at roughly 01:30 UTC on August 19, 2026 — late August 18 in US time zones. It is the first content drop since the developers tore World 3 out and reverted to World 2 on August 10. Players quintupled overnight. Background on the hub.
What shipped in Shibuya Pt.1
Six new evolved Jujutsu Kaisen units. The count comes from a showcase uploaded at 04:43 UTC on August 19 by a 63,500-subscriber channel that filmed all six back to back. Anime Last Stand renames characters, and a second channel pairs them off the same morning: Mahito is Majito, Choso is Blood Brother, Itadori is Itadoki. The rest: Jogo (Jog), Hanami (Hanabi), Todo (Best Friend) — each named by two or more creators.
The chase item is a Glitched Itadori. Five independent channels — one at 203,000 subscribers — put its pull rate at 0.03%. We could not confirm that in-game: treat it as creator-reported, not a published drop rate.
Now what we are not printing. No official patch notes for this update exist anywhere we could reach. The Anime Last Stand Fandom wiki is abandoned — its "2026 Update Logs" page is untouched since March 10, 2026, with no Shibuya page at all. So: no unit stats, no banner rates, no stage list. Our tier list and best units pages predate this patch and need a re-check. Flagged but not asserted: one video clears a new Shibuya raid at "act 6", implying a multi-act mode — one source is not two.
Five codes shipped with the patch, including Shibuya!. They only validate once you join the [B:S] ALS Team group. Full table on our codes page.
How we dated the drop
The Roblox games API stamps this experience updated 2026-08-19 19:57 UTC. That is wrong for the release; three artifacts show why:
- A new promotional thumbnail was uploaded at 00:54:32 UTC on August 19 (asset 105143648834893).
- Roblox's group games endpoint stamps the same experience 01:31:56 UTC — eighteen hours earlier.
- Our radar polled at 01:30:02 UTC and counted 5 concurrent players, the previous poll missing entirely — a shutdown-every-server deploy. Six hours later it read 6,215.
Off-platform agrees: the earliest gameplay uploads land at 03:03 UTC, Try Hard Guides at 05:21 UTC. The 19:57 stamp is a later patch.
What it changed for players
Anime Last Stand was dying before this. Our radar tracked it sliding from 3,215 concurrent players on August 13 to a trough of 1,205 on August 18. It peaked at 7,399 after the patch and still held 5,226 at 01:30 UTC on August 20 — roughly five times the floor.
The seven-day median across August 13–20 is 2,455 over 28 samples, but that window straddles the drop and understates today. Split at the patch, the four post-update samples median 6,318 — that figure excludes the 5-player outage reading; the first keeps it.

Update history
- August 19, 2026 — Shibuya Pt.1: six new evolved Jujutsu Kaisen units, a Glitched Itadori chase, five codes. The first update since the revert.
- August 10, 2026 — the World 2 revert: World 3 deleted, the game rolled back to World 2. A new thumbnail went up at 07:45 UTC, the first reaction videos around 08:28 UTC. Every World 3 code expired;
ALSREVERTandALSWORLD2replaced them. - Early May 2026 — World 3: Stellar full release (UPD 85): a new world, an economy rework, the World Legacy soft reset. All since removed — our May 2026 update page covers content that no longer exists.
- February 20, 2026 — Valentines (seven limited units, event battle pass) and January 29, 2026 — Gachiakuta (five units, six rebalances) — the last two patches the wiki documented.
What's next for Anime Last Stand?
No date is announced. "Pt.1" implies a Pt.2, and the active code MORECOMINGSOON? points the same way, but neither is a schedule. Cadence evidence is thin: nine days from the August 10 revert to Shibuya Pt.1 — a sample of one. Watch the Roblox game page title; its bracket tag changes the moment a patch ships. We log Anime Vanguards the same way.
