Redeem codes before anything else: The active codes hand you tens of thousands of Gems plus free dinosaurs and growth boosts. That is enough to open a strong chest and skip a chunk of the early grind, so do this in your first minute of play.

Grow safe before you grow greedy: While you are small, feed on neutral meat and eggs and keep clear of larger dinosaurs. Being eaten resets your growth, so the patient early game protects everything your codes and Gems bought you. Once you outsize the players near you, you can start hunting them aggressively.

Bank Gems, then open chests with luck active: Don't spend Gems on a chest the moment you can afford one. Save them, equip a luck fossil or amber, then open several chests in a row. Three codes work as of August 20, 2026: WEATHER, HUGE150K and AMBER. Between them they are worth roughly 35,000 Gems plus dinosaurs and fossil boosts — enough to open a strong chest in your first minute of play, which is why redeeming is step one on any new account.

Four codes that several tracker sites still show as active — ANNIVERSARY, ANNIVERSARYFOSSILS, BIRTHDAY and MARSH — are dead, so do not waste time on them.
