BUCKSHOT Tier List (August 2026) — Best Items Ranked

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: August 19, 2026

BUCKSHOT gives you nine in-round items, and the game changes what three of them do depending on which table you sit at. This ranks all nine on documented mechanics plus live Roblox API reads taken on August 19, 2026. No community vote sits behind these tiers, and the method section says so plainly.

Live figures as of August 19, 2026, from the Roblox games and votes APIs (universe 5580972377): 133,404,749 visits, 559,941 favourites, 650,865 likes and 23,359 dislikes. The median is the middle of 28 readings taken August 12–19, 2026.

Read this before any other BUCKSHOT item list. Results for "Buckshot items" are dominated by two other products: Mike Klubnika's standalone Buckshot Roulette and BUCKSHOT FRENZY, a separate Roblox game at placeId 16104162437. This page is only about crookit's BUCKSHOT, placeId 16154918775.

S Tier — Best Items in BUCKSHOT

BUCKSHOT asks one question every turn: point the shotgun at an opponent, or at yourself. S tier is the two items that answer it outright rather than nudging the odds, and neither is a dead draw at either table.

Magnifying glass

The magnifying glass checks the round in the chamber and tells you whether it's live or blank. That's the whole item, and why it's first.

Everything else here is conditional on something; the magnifying glass isn't. It can't target the wrong player, can't be wasted, and doesn't need a second item to pay off. Read live, fire at an opponent for a guaranteed hit. Read blank, fire at yourself, take zero damage and keep the turn.

There's harder evidence for the placement. The one advantage crookit sells directly is shell information: the Shell Tracker gamepass costs 299 Robux, verified against the Roblox game-passes API on August 19, 2026, and offers to "track the count of shells (lives and blanks) and calculate the probability of each." The developer monetised knowing the chamber, not damage or healing.

Adrenaline

Adrenaline steals one item from an opponent. You can't steal another Adrenaline, and if you take too long picking, the effect wears off and nothing is taken.

It's the only item that swings two ways at once: you gain a utility and your opponent loses it. Where the best item is a magnifying glass, Adrenaline is a magnifying glass that also denies your rival theirs. Decide what you want before you use it.

The game tracks stolen items as a separate class, a useful tell. The wiki's Titles page says the Medic title (use 10 potions in one match) and Griffin master (drink 10 sodas in one match) both refuse to count anything obtained through Adrenaline.

A Tier — Excellent Items

These three swing rounds harder than anything in S tier when they land. Each sits a rung lower for a documented condition: a table rule, a stacking limit, or a dependency on information you may not have.

Handcuffs

Handcuffs skip a chosen opponent's turn. You pick the target, you can't use more than one pair per turn, and you can't cuff a player who's already cuffed.

Turn denial is the strongest resource in a turn-based duel, and at the 1v1 table cuffing your only opponent is functionally an extra turn. Pair it with a magnifying glass reading live and you get a free hit with no return fire. Two rules hold it out of S: no chaining cuffs on one player, and at four players you stop one of three threats.

Inverter

The inverter switches the polarity of the shell in the chamber. Live becomes blank, blank becomes live.

It's the only item that changes the game state rather than reading it. Used blind it's worth nothing, since flipping an unknown shell hands you a different unknown shell. Its value is the combo: magnifying glass, blank, inverter, fire at an opponent, which converts the worst read in the game into a confirmed hit.

Hacksaw

The hacksaw doubles the shotgun's damage if the round in the chamber is live when fired. If the shell turns out blank, the doubled damage doesn't carry to the next turn, so a saw spent on a blank is wasted.

It's also the item the two tables disagree about most, covered below: the 1v1 table caps a sawed shot at 1 damage against a player on 2 lives, and the 4-player table doesn't. That makes it a finisher at four players and a tempo tool at two. Don't saw without a confirmed live read.

B Tier — Good Items

Nothing in B tier is a bad draw. Each either buys time rather than winning the turn, or gives information that may not survive to the moment it matters.

Soda

Soda ejects the shell currently in the chamber. If you drink it when only one shell is left, the round ends immediately and you keep your turn going into the next round.

That last clause is why it's here and not lower: ending a round on your own terms with the turn still in hand is a tempo win no other item offers. Otherwise soda is a chambering tool — burn a shell you suspect is live, or dig toward one the burner phone flagged. Ejected blind it's as likely to bin a blank you wanted as a live you feared, which keeps it out of A.

Burner phone

The burner phone names one random shell by position and states whether it's live or blank. The wiki's example: told the seventh shell is live, you know that after six shells are spent, the next round fired is live.

It's the only item that reads beyond the current shell, but it picks the position, not you. A call on the seventh shell is worth nothing in a round that ends at the fifth. Used when one shell remains it displays "HOW UNFORTUNATE..." and burns outright.

Potion

The potion, also called the med or the heal, restores 1 life. It does nothing if you're already at full health.

Its floor is the issue. On the 1v1 table you cannot heal once you're down to your last life, which the wiki notes is intentional rather than a bug, so it switches off at the moment you'd most want it. Healing also doesn't advance your position, only undoes damage taken.

C Tier — Situational Items

Remote

The remote is exclusive to the 4-player table. Turn order there runs clockwise or anti-clockwise, and the remote flips it.

It's the only item that doesn't read the chamber, change it, deny a turn or restore a life. It re-times who acts next, which matters when the player about to shoot at you is one you'd rather not face. Situational and table-locked is a C, and the wiki documents no cooldown or usage limit that would change that.

1v1 vs 4-Player: The Rankings Change

Most tier lists for turn-based games assume one format. BUCKSHOT has two, and crookit wrote different rules for each, so a single ladder can't be honest without saying where it applies. Five documented differences do the work.

The item economy starts at different speeds. At the 1v1 table, round 1 has no items at all — pure shell reading with a shotgun and nothing else. Round 2 gives each player 2 random utilities, round 3 gives 3, and the count climbs from there. The 4-player table hands everyone 2 items in round 1 and 3 every round after, so it's item-dense from the opening turn while 1v1 has a dry start.

That density is why Adrenaline outranks Handcuffs at four players. With three opponents each drawing 3 items a round, there's nearly always a magnifying glass, inverter or saw worth taking. Handcuffs move the opposite way: at 1v1 a cuff removes every one of the opposition's turns for a round, and at four players it removes one of three, with the no-double-cuffing rule blocking any attempt to stack them.

The hacksaw's damage cap is the sharpest split. A player on 2 lives takes only 1 damage from a sawed shot at the 1v1 table, and the wiki is explicit that this exists to keep 1v1 balanced. At the 4-player table there's no cap, so the saw can finish a player on their last 2 lives. Sawing for the kill is correct at four players and impossible at two.

The potion has the mirror-image split. At 1v1 it's locked out at 1 life remaining, deliberately. At a 4-player table you can heal whenever you're below full health, including from your last life — a genuine comeback item in the bigger format, and a mid-round buffer only in the duel.

The remote is the fifth difference. The 1v1 table has no turn direction, so the remote doesn't exist there. A 1v1 match draws from 8 items and a 4-player match from all 9, which slightly dilutes your odds of pulling a magnifying glass at the bigger table.

Context for both: Rolimon's put BUCKSHOT's average playtime at 12.61 minutes when we read it on August 19, 2026, so an item burned on the wrong turn is a large fraction of your round. Servers hold up to 24 players, but you only face 1 or 3 at a table.

How We Ranked These Items

There's no community consensus for this game, and this page won't invent one. We looked for Reddit threads, TierMaker templates and ranking videos about crookit's BUCKSHOT and found none actually about it — every result was for Buckshot Roulette or BUCKSHOT FRENZY.

The tiers are reasoned from documented mechanics and table-specific balance rules, not scraped from a vote. Item behaviour comes from the RobloxBuckshot wiki, which is unofficial and maintained by a single editor. The stats, prices and update timing come from Roblox's APIs, read on August 19, 2026.

The limitation you should weigh. Those item pages were last revised in April 2026, while the game itself was updated on August 17, 2026 per the Roblox games API timestamp. A rebalance in that four-month gap wouldn't show up in the wiki, and we can't rule one out. Treat the mechanics as accurate to April 2026, and confirmed live only where an API backs them.

What we deliberately left out. Exact shell counts and live-to-blank ratios — the wiki only says blanks and lives are "mixed each round," so any page quoting a "2 live, 3 blank" split made it up. Case drop odds and the full skin rarity ladder, since only the endpoints Common and Contraband are documented. Cash-per-win, the XP curve and the level cap. And a tenth "reorder shells" item: the store blurb says items let you "reorder them," but the wiki documents no such utility.

For the current working code list, see our BUCKSHOT codes page, which owns that data. The BUCKSHOT hub collects everything else, and the BUCKSHOT free Robux guide covers shell counting and the paid shortcuts.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best item in BUCKSHOT?

The magnifying glass. It reveals whether the shell in the chamber is live or blank, which turns the only decision the game asks you into a certainty instead of a guess. It never misfires, never picks the wrong target and never expires unused. The developer's own Shell Tracker gamepass, 299 Robux and verified live on August 19, 2026, sells a permanent version of the same edge.

How many items are there in BUCKSHOT?

Nine. The RobloxBuckshot wiki documents exactly nine in-round utilities: magnifying glass, burner phone, inverter, hacksaw, handcuffs, potion, soda, adrenaline and remote. The remote is exclusive to the 4-player table, so a 1v1 match draws from eight. Any list naming a tenth item is not describing this game.

Does the hacksaw work the same on both BUCKSHOT tables?

No, and it's the biggest rules difference between the tables. On the 1v1 table a player sitting on 2 lives takes only 1 damage from a sawed shot, which the wiki states is a deliberate balance rule. On the 4-player table there's no such cap, so the saw can kill a player on their last 2 lives outright.

Can you steal Adrenaline with Adrenaline in BUCKSHOT?

No. Adrenaline takes one item from an opponent, but another Adrenaline is explicitly off the table. It also runs on a timer: dither over what to take and the effect wears off, spending your Adrenaline for nothing.

Do BUCKSHOT skins change how items work?

No. The wiki's skins and trading documentation gives no gameplay effect to any of the 125+ unique skins; they're traded on rarity and appearance alone. TrakStat, the one module attached to some, rolls on 10% of unboxed skins, counts only that gun's kills, and resets when traded. Selling skins for Robux or real money can get you banned.

Is this the same game as Buckshot Roulette or BUCKSHOT FRENZY?

No, and confusing them is the most common way item lists go wrong. Mike Klubnika's Buckshot Roulette is a standalone game whose items are beer, cigarettes, expired medicine, a hand saw and a jammer, none of which appear here. BUCKSHOT FRENZY is a separate Roblox game at placeId 16104162437, which we measured at 16 concurrent players on August 19, 2026. This page covers crookit's BUCKSHOT, placeId 16154918775, which had 3,322 players at the same reading.
