Slap Battles Tier List (August 2026) — Best Gloves Ranked
OVERKILL is the best glove in Slap Battles right now. Its passive kills anything the glove physically touches, with no button press and no charge-up, and the wiki lists its power as INFINITE. The strongest glove you can earn without spending Robux is The Flex, but it wants 100,000 slaps — so most players will spend a long time in the tiers below.
The honest scope: Slap Battles has 367 gloves as of the Fandom wiki's August 14, 2026 edit, and 39 are admin or staff-only, leaving roughly 328 a normal account can chase. We ranked 24 of them — the ones with documented stats plus the ones players actually search for. This is not the full roster and isn't trying to be. Everything below was checked on August 17, 2026 against each glove's own Fandom page, the update log, and the Roblox games, badges and game-passes APIs.
Table of Contents
S Tier — The Best Gloves in Slap Battles
Every glove here is disabled in Slap Battles - NO ONESHOT GLOVES, the gamemode the developer built to strip out gloves that instantly kill. That's a dev-curated ban list, not an opinion, and it's the most defensible S-tier signal this game offers.
OVERKILL — 450 Robux
We confirmed the gamepass at 450 Robux against the Roblox game-passes API on August 17, 2026. Its passive, Hot Touch, instantly slaps anybody the glove touches and drops them to zero health — no input, no charge mechanic, contact alone. Power reads INFINITE (est. 700+), speed INFINITE (20). Counterplay is real: Snow, Ice, Shard, Iceskate's ice, Snowball's turret, Frostbite and Water all disable the passive, and The Flex extinguishes it.
The Flex — 100,000 slaps
The most expensive slap-purchased glove in the game, added December 17, 2021. Touch of Midas turns anyone you slap into a gold statue and kills them outright, at power 100 and speed 17. It's the free-to-play ceiling because it does what OVERKILL does on a slap rather than a touch, which is far harder to play around. Since July 24, 2026 it no longer bypasses Parry.
God's Hand — 70,000 slaps
Stops time in a monochrome, screen-shaking area around you on a 60-second cooldown. Power 250, speed 17 — the highest listed power of any regular slap glove. The price rose to 70,000 on April 3, 2026, and the wiki flags several past hikes without recording the old figures, so distrust any other number you see.
Reaper — 3,500 slaps
The best value in the game, with no active ability at all — the wiki's infobox marks it passive-only. Time's Up puts a 25-second timer over anyone you slap; at zero they die and you get the kill. Each kill shaves a second off, bottoming out at 6 seconds after 19 kills. Power 45, speed 13. Two counters: diving into the void denies you the kill, and Diamond's rock form removes the timer — if the Reaper user gets rocked, everyone marked is cured.
Killstreak — 5,000 slaps
A ladder rather than one ability. As your streak climbs you unlock Soul snatcher, Killstealing, Flight, Immunities, the 75 Orb (8s), the 100 Orb (14s), 250 and 1,000 Telekinesis (2s), and Midas Touch (25s). Power scales 35 to 285 while speed drops 15 to 0. The catch is Reaper's: a fed Killstreak becomes the server's target. Its Mastery quests were eased on July 24, 2026.
A Tier — Excellent Gloves
Three of these five are also on the No Oneshots ban list, which is why they sit this high despite unremarkable stat lines. The other two are gamepasses whose value is defensive rather than lethal.
MEGAROCK comes from the WHY badge, which asks you to stay in Diamond's rock form for ten straight hours. MEGAROCKMODE is an unpushable rock that kills anyone who touches it and grows with each victim absorbed, up to 28. There's a 2-second startup, and its cooldown went from 1 to 4 seconds on May 15, 2026. Power 30, speed 13. CUSTOM is the same idea sold as a gamepass at 394 Robux, confirmed live on August 17, 2026 — you set your own power (40–60), speed (10–20), decal and audio. If you see 749 Robux quoted anywhere, that's wrong.
bob — lowercase, that's how the game renders it — comes from the bob badge added April 16, 2022, and summons a Default-wielding stand that fights for you. Cooldowns run 8 seconds on spawn, 15 normally, half a second when the Normal Arena is empty, and 100 seconds after colliding with rob. Its power and speed are listed only as "bob", estimated 52 and 16.
Ultra Instinct costs 309 Robux, verified today. The May 22, 2026 rework replaced its decaying meter with tokens: every slap gives one, they cap at 4, and each is a guaranteed dodge. Aura Farming has you stand still with the glove down for one second, after which being slapped evades with 100% certainty — 2-second cooldown on success, 6 on failure. Power 60, speed INFINITE (20). Its Mastery adds a 62-power Counter Attack and Instant Transmission.
Titan is the odd one out: it's tied to the VIP subscription and doesn't appear in the game's 17-pass API list. The wiki says that subscription moved from $2.99 USD to 299 Robux per month on April 2, 2026 — one source only, so treat it as wiki-only. Large Shenanigans makes you five times larger with a Stomp dealing about 60 knockback after a 0.7-second wind-up, on a 20-second timer each incoming slap cuts by 2 seconds. Power 52, speed 17. Nerfed July 24, 2026 with a 0.8-second per-user slap cooldown and stomp lockouts.
B Tier — Good Gloves
These win fights on skill rather than a kill button. Most are mid-to-late slap purchases with strong abilities that can be played around.
Blackhole (37,000 slaps) uses Void on a 12-second cooldown to drag nearby players toward you for 9 to 10 seconds; getting slapped or ragdolled cancels it. Power 55, speed 15. Automaton (64,500 slaps, added November 14, 2025) runs a gear economy capped at 15 — Gearbug is a flying homing bomb costing 5 gears on a 1-second cooldown, and at max gears the ultimate lifts your target airborne. Power 53, speed 15.
Roaring (65,000 slaps, added April 3, 2026) has a passive, Black Knife, that swaps your glove for a blade you hold to charge a lunging slash. Its E, Starshot, fires 3 white stars you recall with a second press (8s spawn, 17s cooldown); its R, X Slash, slams the ground and marks players with a red reticle on 12 seconds. Power 50, speed 13.
Meteor (32,000 slaps) drops telegraphed AoE strikes on 12 seconds, rising to 13.5 at a full 3-second charge that shrinks the radius but speeds impact by 20%. Power 55, speed 17. Golden (2,500 slaps) is the cheapest strong glove here: Powerup grants 8 seconds of invincibility at 25 walkspeed and 68 power, 30-second cooldown. Base power 52, speed 15.
Ghost (666 slaps) gives 1.5 seconds of invisibility with distorted audio and a 20-second cooldown after, though other Ghost users still faintly see you; its power was cut from 48 to 44. Swapper (350 slaps) trades places with the nearest player within 850 studs every 10 seconds — a map-edge execution tool as much as a mobility one. Power 50, speed 14.
C Tier — Situational and Starter Gloves
Nothing here is useless. These are cheap gloves, utility gloves, and the two Slap Royale gamepasses whose jobs are narrow enough that you'd swap off them once you had an alternative.
Vampire and Cannoneer are Slap Royale-exclusive gamepasses. We pulled the API on August 17, 2026: they cost 225 and 197 Robux, not the 300 and 262 the wiki's Slap Royale summary tab still shows. Vampire's Reactively heals you for damage dealt on a 30-second cooldown; Cannoneer builds a cannon in 3 seconds that anyone on the map can use, 25-second cooldown. Both are power 40, speed 14.
Spring (250 slaps) adds about 25 jump power for roughly 75 total. Its Mastery arrived February 20, 2026 with Spring Drop (8s), Spring Slam (7s) and Super Jump (14s), and on May 22, 2026 mid-air springs began creating an extender part that bounces anyone you slap into it. Movement tech, not damage. Brick (65 slaps) scatters bricks that ragdoll on contact for 4 seconds, 5-second cooldown.
Extended now costs 30 slaps, raised from 25 on May 15, 2026 — the wiki's summary page still shows 25. Reach buys range at a brutal cost: power rose to 40, but speed sits at 5 after two nerfs, the slowest here. Diamond (15 slaps) locks you in an immobile rock where you can't be slapped and can't die at all, even by resetting — a stepping stone to MEGAROCK and a hard counter to Reaper. Power 40, speed 13. Default (0 slaps) is where everyone starts: Fart Blast is a small speed burst on 3.5 seconds, doubling to 7 in the Jerry bossfight. Power 30, speed 10.

What Changed in 2026
Slap Battles ships roughly weekly, so an undated tier list is worthless. These are the 2026 entries from the developer's own update log that actually move placements; our Slap Battles update log page tracks the running history.
August 14, 2026 added the Impostor glove (17,200 slaps, power 56, speed 15, abilities Le Suitcase and Fake) plus a Roguelike Mastery. August 7 added Marewarder and Static, tied to the Heart of the Abyss boss event; their badges, Unmasked and Banish the Night, were both created August 6 and sat at 102,237 and 31,464 awards when we hit the Roblox badges API on August 17.
July 24, 2026 was the year's biggest balance pass. Pool Noodle arrived via the Return to Sender badge (created July 23, 167,345 awards). Alongside it: Iceskate dropped 55 to 49 power, Jester 58 to 54, Rojo and Slender both 57 to 52; G-X gained spawn cooldowns and lost overclock knockback 70 to 60; Titan got its per-user slap cooldown; Killstreak's Mastery quests were eased; and Parry became immune to The Flex's bypass.
Earlier, May 22 reworked Ultra Instinct into the token system, May 15 pushed Extended from 25 to 30 slaps and raised MEGAROCK and CUSTOM's cooldown from 1 to 4 seconds, April 3 added Roaring and raised God's Hand to 70,000, and April 2 repriced the VIP subscription behind Titan. Worth keeping straight: G-X is a genuine Opera GX collaboration glove, and the wiki notes it's the first collaboration glove not based on another game.
How We Ranked These Gloves
There's no verifiable community-consensus source for Slap Battles gloves right now. We couldn't extract usable Reddit tier threads or YouTube placements, and the one genuine Fandom user ranking predates dozens of current gloves. We are not claiming the community agrees with any of this.
We ranked on documented mechanics instead. For S tier the anchor is the No Oneshots ban list — the 19 gloves the developer pulled from a mode built to exclude one-shot kills, named in the FAQ below. Fandom's Category:One-Shot Gloves independently corroborates God's Hand, OVERKILL, The Flex and Error. For A, B and C we argued from published numbers on each glove's own page in the Fandom glove roster: power and speed, cooldowns, ranges and named counters. Every Robux price was cross-checked against the Roblox game-passes API on August 17, 2026 rather than copied from a tracker.
Context, pulled August 17, 2026: the 7-day median concurrent player count is 17,308 (that day's snapshot read 18,202; daily swings run roughly 11,400 to 22,400), on 3,593,233,491 visits, 4,573,135 favourites and about 86% approval from 2.26 million votes. Our Slap Battles hub collects the rest, and Slap Battles vs Blade Ball compares it to its closest rival. We don't list codes here — our Slap Battles codes page tracks the current list, with seven fabricated codes purged on August 8, 2026 and the reward currency corrected to Shards.

Frequently Asked Questions
OVERKILL. Its passive, Hot Touch, kills anything the glove physically touches with no button press and no charge-up, and its power is listed as INFINITE. It costs 450 Robux, verified against the Roblox game-passes API on August 17, 2026. Without spending Robux, The Flex is the strongest option at 100,000 slaps.
The Fandom wiki's Gloves page states 367 as of its August 14, 2026 edit, and 39 of those are admin or staff-only, leaving about 328 a normal player can chase. The same page's own category breakdown adds up to 370, so the wiki contradicts itself on the exact total.
Nineteen: Reaper, Killstreak, Sbeve, Doomsday, Error, God's Hand, The Flex, OVERKILL, CUSTOM, MEGAROCK, bus, potato, bob, Detonator, Link, Leash, Berserk, Psycho and rob. The developer sets that list, which makes it the closest thing to an official statement on which gloves are overpowered.
Reaper at 3,500 slaps — the cheapest glove that reaches S tier, and it works entirely passively. Below that, Golden at 2,500 slaps gives 8 seconds of invincibility at 68 power, and Ghost at 666 buys a short invisibility window.
You need the WHY badge, which requires staying in Diamond's rock form for ten hours without a break. Buy Diamond for 15 slaps, activate The Stone Age, and wait. MEGAROCK then kills anyone who touches the rock, growing as it absorbs players up to a maximum of 28.
No, and it doesn't claim to be — 24 gloves out of 367. Anything we couldn't verify against a glove's own wiki page, the update log, or a Roblox API was left off rather than guessed at. Browse the full roster on the Fandom wiki, or check the game on Roblox.
