Build a Base Raiders Can’t Break Into

Servers cap at six players as of August 16, 2026, so you always face up to five thieves. Four layout rules do most of the work:

• Double-layer your walls — two blocks per tile roughly doubles a raider's exposure on your plot.
• Make the interior a maze — invaders with no straight line to the pen burn their raid window.
• Build tall — a low base gets jumped over and the wall you rolled for never gets touched.
• Buy every trap and weapon in the Shop and booby-trap the interior.

Locking stops players, but not everything: during Zombie Invasion, zombies enter locked bases regardless. Rebirths feed defense directly — every one grants +3 Defense Blocks alongside +2 Max Pets, so the thickest walls belong to whoever rebirthed most.

Climb the 16-Step Rebirth Ladder

Rebirthing is the real progression system. The Rebirth button sits on the left of your screen, directly below the Shop button. Each step demands a money total and two specific pets in your base, and completing it wipes your money, pets and every purchased upgrade for a permanent Luck multiplier, cash back, pet slots, defense blocks and gear. As of the Build Mode Update the ladder runs to Rebirth 16 and needs 29 different pets, including Fish and Golden-mutation pets. Costs then escalate hard: $4.7B at Rebirth 9 (Sphinx, Pegasus), $17.5B at 10 (Roc, Hydra), $65B at 11 (Qilin, Simurgh) and $300T at 12 (Dragon, Unicorn). Money costs for Rebirths 13–16 are undocumented; their pets are Golden Kitsune, Golden Unicorn and Golden Dragon, Gnome, then Fairy and Mermaid, rewarding TNT, the Magnet, a Sniper Rifle and finally the Demon Bat at 208x permanent Luck.

The takeaway for a new player: do not hoard. Rebirth 1 costs $50k and returns a permanent 2x Luck multiplier, so the best use of your first $50k is throwing it away on that reset. The pet requirements also tell you which rolls to keep — hold an early Bunny or Owl, because Rebirths 2 and 3 will ask for them.

Play Every Event — They Hand Out Free Luck and Mutations

A natural event has a chance to spawn roughly every 30 minutes, drawn from six possibilities. Money Rain and Roll Rush are the most common; Volcano and Fishing are the rarest. All six also spawn in private servers.

Two change how you play the moment they start. Zombie Invasion is a Luck factory: kill ten zombies and you carry a +1x Luck boost for ten minutes after it ends — exactly when to burn your whole bank on rolls. Fishing disables stealing for its full ten minutes, the only genuinely safe window in the game.

Stack the Best Mutation on Your Top Earners

Mutations multiply both a pet’s sale value and its earning rate, and a pet carries one only — they never stack. There are four as of the Build Mode Update: Golden (1.5x), Cosmic (2x), Inferno (3x) and Admin (4x).

Each has exactly one source. Golden comes only from the Pet Roll, and is the only mutation the roll produces. Cosmic comes only from Cosmic Invasion; Inferno only from Volcano, either on pets already in your base or from the caged Inferno pet you free with your gear. Admin is rarest — handed out only during developer-run Admin Abuse events, usually before a major update.

So the routine is simple: the instant a Cosmic Invasion or Volcano starts, fill your base with your highest earners. Inferno at 3x is the best mutation you can farm without an Admin Abuse, and running Volcano on a private server means claiming the caged Inferno pet uncontested.

Steal Pets Without Losing Your Own

Stealing is the fastest route to a high earner you could never afford from the roll, and the efficient method is surgical: break only the blocks that open a direct path to the pet pen, grab, and run. Every extra block is time spent on someone else’s plot with a bat pointed at you.

Your rebirth gear is your raiding kit. The bat ladder runs Steel → Stone → Cobalt → Obsidian → Crystal → Golden → Goku → Sky → Galaxy → Rage → Hacker → Demon, with mobility and utility stacked on top: Speed Coil at Rebirth 1, Gravity Coil at 2, Dual Coil at 3, Grapple Hook at 4, Invisibility Cloak at 8, Body Swap Potion at 9. A player five rebirths ahead is not just richer — they move and break faster.

The best raid windows are when everyone else is distracted — Zombie Invasion and Volcano both pull players off their plots, and both are equally good moments for someone to do it to you. Lock up before you leave.
