Catch And Tame is Manta Games' lasso-and-pen animal collector: you rope wild animals, walk them to your pen, and they earn you money even while you are logged off. It has taken 445,977,349 visits since launching on November 2, 2025, at 98.1% approval (Roblox API, August 26, 2026).

What's the current Catch And Tame update?

Update 40, “Cloud Island”, shipped on August 23, 2026. Three signals agree: the Discovered Cloudy Island! badge was created August 17 but only flipped live at 18:50 UTC on August 23; our radar logged 55,492 players at 19:30 UTC that evening against 11,747 that morning; and the live title now carries the cloud tag, [☁️] Catch And Tame!

It brought one new code, CLOUDUPDATE (10 Cloudberries). Exactly three codes work as of August 26, 2026: CLOUDUPDATE, PLUSHIECODE (10 Cookie Buttons) and FISHINGCLAW (10 Sunken Coconuts). Manta Games retires a code once the next update lands, so SUBMARINES, SUNKEN, FARMING, FOOTBALLCUP and LABORATORY are dead — this hub listed the first three as working until today. How Catch And Tame actually plays

The developer spells the loop out in the game's own Roblox description: equip your lasso, catch roaming animals, walk them to your pen, then feed and combine them. Feeding raises an animal's luck, which drives your odds of rare and secret species; combining two animals with your heart discovers new pets. Penned animals earn on a timer that keeps running offline — which is why Roblox files this under Simulation › Tycoon, not as a creature battler. Servers cap at five players; there is no combat, no PvP and no elemental type chart.

What's next for Catch And Tame?

Unusually, the next two drops are already dated on Roblox's own virtual-events calendar. 🏔 Mountain Climbing! is set for 19:00 UTC on August 30, 2026 (listed August 17), and an untitled New Update! 👀 follows at 19:00 UTC on September 6 (listed August 24). Every numbered update since late July has carried a code named after it, so Mountain Climbing is the likeliest home for the next one — and the likeliest date CLOUDUPDATE dies.

The calendar also lists a recurring one-hour Admin Abuse! event every Wednesday at 13:00 UTC — next on September 2 and 9 — which is what produces the game's huge short-lived player spikes.
