Demon Born is a Demon Slayer-inspired open-world action RPG by the SoraExp group, where you choose a path at creation: become a Slayer who hunts demons, or a Demon who feeds on humanity. This is our living wiki hub for it — the current update, mechanics, live stats, and links to every Demon Born guide we've written, checked on July 18, 2026.

What's the current Demon Born update?

The live game is titled [UPDATE 1 BETA] Demon Born, and the Roblox place last updated on July 17, 2026. Demon Born is still officially in beta — it left its earliest release build in mid-June 2026 — so the current version focuses on the core Slayer-versus-Demon loop, the first three Breathing Styles, the clan roll system, and the open-world quest and boss content rather than a large endgame. Because it's a beta, expect balance passes, bug fixes and the occasional stat reset between patches.

Free codes drop alongside patches in the developer's Discord update-logs, and they rotate out quickly. We keep those out of this hub on purpose — the full working list, redeem steps and expired archive live on our Demon Born codes page.

What's next for Demon Born?

SoraExp has not published a dated public roadmap or Trello board, so we won't invent one. What the community expects, based on the "Update 1 Beta" tag and the three-style starting roster, is more Breathing Styles and Demon Arts, additional clans, and further open-world regions as the beta matures. Until the developer posts firm dates, treat everything beyond the current build as unconfirmed; we'll update this section the moment a patch note lands. Demon Born wiki: mechanics at a glance

Factions & races. At the start you pick your path. Slayers train Breathing Styles, forge a Nichirin-style blade and hunt demons through quests and bosses; you can learn your first Breathing Style from a trainer once you hit Level 10. Demons (Oni) instead wield Demon Arts and grow stronger by feeding on enemies, with their kit opening up deeper into progression (community guides place the Demon Art path around Level 20). The choice gates your abilities and quest content, so it's a genuine commitment, not a cosmetic.

Breathing Styles. Three are available in the current beta, each learned from its own trainer at Level 10+:

• Water Breathing — found near the starting river; the most forgiving style for learning Q-dash and F-defense timing (A-tier).
• Thunder Breathing — taught by the ex-Hashira on the west mountain path; prized for the highest burst-combo output (S-tier).
• Insect Breathing — learned at the east tatami training hall; built around poison damage-over-time (S-tier).

Clans & spins. Alongside your race you roll a Clan, and each clan has its own rarity and stat buffs — some far rarer than others. The standout is Kamado (Mythical), which stacks HP, Stamina and, crucially for Demons, Sun immunity, making it the community's top pick. Agatsuma (Mythical) is a solid stamina-and-movement clan, while low-roll clans like Tsuyuri give no buffs. Extra Clan Spins are one of the main rewards codes hand out.

Stats, currency & combat. You spend earned points across attributes such as Strength, HP, Stamina and Agility (with Focus, Luck and Crit appearing in deeper builds). Gold is the primary currency from quests and activities, and Crystals feed weapon upgrades. Combat is action-based — the in-game controls list Left-Click attack, Q dash, F defense, Alt lock-on, B finisher and H breathing — and open-world bosses drawn from the Demon Slayer cast (Rui, Susamaru & Yahaba, the Drum Demon, plus Hashira encounters) gate progression items.
