Dig It Roblox -- Guides, Codes & Tips (2026)

Everything you need for Dig It in one place: the best shovels, backpack upgrades, magnet luck, the live code status, and how it stacks up against DIG.

Dig It is the treasure-digging RPG by Biodegradable Inc. that has cleared 73 million visits and 907,000 favorites since its October 2024 launch. You dig, sell for Doolars, upgrade your shovel and backpack, and boat between six islands chasing rarer loot.

This hub pulls together our Dig It guide, the always-current codes page, and a head-to-head with the other big Roblox digger, DIG. Start with whichever card matches what you need right now.

Dig It Basics at a Glance

If you're brand new, here's the loop in one breath: dig dirt, collect items, sell them for Doolars, and pour those Doolars into a faster shovel and a bigger backpack. Then boat to the next of six islands, where the loot gets rarer and the cycle repeats.

To dig, click or press Spacebar on PC, tap on mobile, or press A on Xbox and X on PlayStation. Your shovel's three stats — dig radius, depth, and speed — decide how much dirt you move per click, so a shovel upgrade is always your top spending priority. The Blingpack backpack costs 750 Doolars at level 5 and adds 10 inventory slots.

Luck comes from magnets that match your area: Regular gives +5% for Home items, Fossil +14% for Fossilized, Urban +30% for Home, and Radiant +39% for Radioactive. Glowing holes appear at random and almost always hide a rare drop, so always chase them first.

Why Play Dig It?

Dig It nails the loop that makes digging games addictive: a visible upgrade ladder where every shovel and backpack purchase pays off immediately. The six islands keep the loot escalating, and magnets plus glowing holes add just enough luck to keep each dig interesting.

It also respects your time. Tap-to-dig works great on mobile, the Teleporter pass removes travel friction, and quests hand fat XP and Doolar lumps that gate your gear. There's no input minigame to fail, so it stays relaxing even during long grinds.

The game has staying power, too. With 73 million visits since October 2024 and a steady stream of events, Dig It keeps its community busy without demanding the twitch precision of skill-based diggers. It's the kind of game you can dig into for ten minutes or two hours and feel like you made progress either way.

Getting Started in Dig It

Your first session should be deliberately repetitive. Dig the home island, fill your starter backpack, sell, and bank Doolars until you can afford the next shovel tier. Don't wander or buy cosmetics yet — the early game is entirely about funding that first real upgrade.

Once you own a mid-tier shovel, push quests to level 5 and grab the Blingpack. From there, the rhythm is simple: upgrade your shovel, upgrade your backpack, activate the right magnet, then travel when an island stops paying. Quests hand the biggest XP and Doolar lumps, so clear them in batches rather than one at a time.

How to Use This Hub

New to the game? Start with the guide for shovel priorities and the early-game path. Mid-grind and hunting freebies? The codes page tracks the live status so you never paste a dead code. Deciding between the two big diggers? The DIG comparison lays out exactly who each game suits.

Tip: Pair your Dig It sessions with Earnaldo tasks to stack free Robux while you grind for that next shovel.
