Greedy Growers is a Roblox farming tycoon built on one nervy decision: you buy a seed from the river, plant it in your plot, and watch the tree's payout climb until you either harvest it or lose the whole thing to a lightning strike. This hub is the front door to everything we track for it — the current update, live player numbers, every guide we maintain, and where the codes list and the beginner's guide stand today.
What's the current Greedy Growers update?
The current content drop is GEAR & WORMS, subtitled "Market Expansion!", which the developers published as an in-experience event running from August 14, 2026 at 18:00 UTC to August 21, 2026 at 18:00 UTC. Their own listing spells out the contents: a Gear Shop and Worms Stands added to the market area, each with new items, plus new rebirths, an Index, new pet variants and mutation stacking on seed plants.
Two of those hit systems the beginner's guide covers. Mutation stacking changes the lightning gamble, since a shocked plant can upgrade into a better variant instead of dying, and stacking lets those effects compound on one seed. "New rebirths" extends the ladder past the rungs we documented on August 8. No version number was attached to any of it, so GEAR & WORMS is the name they shipped and the name we use.
The Roblox listing also records a further server publish on August 17, 2026 at 02:48 UTC with no announcement attached, which usually means a patch rather than new content. Nobody published notes for it, so we won't guess.
What's next for Greedy Growers?
There's no roadmap to report, and we won't pad this section. The only dated forward-looking fact is that the GEAR & WORMS event window closes on August 21, 2026 at 18:00 UTC — an end date for the current event, not a promise about the next one. As of August 18, 2026 the developers have no future event scheduled on the game's Roblox page, GEAR & WORMS is the only event they have ever published there, and the group wall is closed to the public, so there's no dated developer statement to quote.
The record does show a game being actively worked on rather than drifting: created July 3, 2026, so 46 days old today, and republished as recently as August 17. The event description sends players to "the community server" for details, so the Discord is where the next update will surface first. Treat any "upcoming Greedy Growers update" list you find elsewhere as unsourced.

That group was called "banjo greedy lady" until August 17, 2026, a name many trackers still print.
