The Bizzy Bees 2026 event went live on May 9 and runs through May 16, bringing an entirely new garden type, a dedicated event currency, four new bee pets, and a full upgrade tree. Here's everything you need to know to maximize your Honey Coins before time runs out.
Players can now switch their garden to a Honey Garden through the garden selector. Once activated, bees begin spawning around your plot. They'll follow you as you move and automatically pollinate any Honey-type plants you've grown.
At the back of your Honey Garden, a Beehive spawns that produces bee eggs over time. This is separate from the Bee Egg Shop — it's a passive source of eggs that rewards players who keep their gardens active.
Honey Coins are the core currency for this event. You earn them by growing plants in your Honey Garden, letting bees pollinate those plants, and then submitting the pollinated crops to the Honey Combpressor.
The Combpressor sits on the right side of the Main Platform. Each submission cycle takes roughly 90 seconds and fills a 30 kg weight threshold. Once filled, you receive Honey Coins based on the total weight, rarity of crops submitted, and whether they carry the Pollinated variant.
The amount of Honey Coins you receive per cycle depends on three factors: total weight submitted, the rarity tier of your plants, and whether they've been pollinated. Pollinated plants yield significantly more coins than unpollinated ones, so always wait for your bees to finish their work before harvesting.
The event shop restocks every 30 minutes and accepts Honey Coins, Trade Tokens, or Robux. Available items include:
| Item | Type |
|---|---|
| Honey Daisy Seed | Seed |
| Honey Dew Seed | Seed |
| Hive Seed Pack | Pack (6 possible plants) |
| Ambercomb Seed | Seed |
| Hive Egg | Egg (5 possible pets) |
| Hive Crate | Crate (6 cosmetics) |
| Professor Bee | Pet |
| Honey Birds of Paradise Seed | Seed |
Separate from the main event shop, the Bee Egg Shop sells Common, Rare, and Mythical Bee Eggs. It restocks every 5 minutes, making it much more accessible for players grinding throughout the day.
Accessed through the Beehive Platform, the new upgrade tree lets you invest Honey Coins into permanent event buffs:
The Honey Incubator converts Honey Seeds into regular seed versions you can use in your main garden. This means event-exclusive plants aren't locked to the Honey Garden forever — you can bring them into your permanent rotation once converted.
Two mutations arrived with this update. Pollinated gives a x3 multiplier and is applied when bees interact with your plants. HoneyGlazed is rarer but offers a x5 multiplier, making it one of the strongest mutations currently in the game.
Four new bee pets were introduced, each with a unique ability tied to the pollination system. These can be hatched from Hive Eggs or purchased directly from the event shop.
| Pet | Rarity | Ability |
|---|---|---|
| Nurse Bee | Rare | Occasionally grabs Pollinated fruit to feed another pet |
| Gardener Bee | Legendary | Occasionally transfers Pollinated mutation to other fruits |
| Elemental Bee | Mythical | Occasionally mutates a random fruit with one elemental mutation |
| Empress Bee | Divine (0.5% hatch) | Occasionally refreshes ability cooldowns of other random pets |
The Empress Bee is the chase item here. At 0.5% hatch chance from Hive Eggs, it's going to take most players dozens of attempts. Her ability to reset other pet cooldowns makes her a force multiplier — the more pets you have, the stronger she becomes.
Here's what each egg type contains:
| Egg | Contents | Restock |
|---|---|---|
| Hive Egg | 5 possible bee pets (includes Empress) | Event Shop (30 min) |
| Mythical Bee Egg | 5 possible bees | Bee Egg Shop (5 min) |
| Rare Bee Egg | 5 possible bees | Bee Egg Shop (5 min) |
| Common Bee Egg | 5 possible bees | Bee Egg Shop (5 min) |
The Bizzy Bees event creates an entirely parallel progression track. Your main garden continues operating as before, but switching to a Honey Garden opens up a separate currency loop with its own upgrades and rewards.
For competitive players, the Gardener Bee is arguably more valuable than the Empress Bee in practice. Transferring the Pollinated mutation to other fruits means you can stack multipliers without waiting for bees to visit each plant individually. That's a massive time saver when you're trying to fill the Combpressor quickly.
The HoneyGlazed x5 mutation also changes the meta for plant valuations. Any plant that receives both Pollinated (x3) and HoneyGlazed (x5) effectively gets a x15 combined multiplier. Expect these to become highly sought after in trades.
The developers typically release event-specific codes during limited-time updates. We're tracking all active and expired codes on our dedicated page.

With only 7 days to work with, efficiency matters. Here's how to get the most out of the Bizzy Bees event:
At base stats, one Combpressor cycle takes 90 seconds and requires 30 kg. That's 40 cycles per hour if you're submitting continuously. With the Compressor Speed upgrade maxed, you can cut that cycle time significantly and push well over 50 cycles hourly.
The Extra Honey Coins upgrade adds a flat bonus per cycle. Even a small flat bonus multiplied by 40-50 cycles per hour adds up quickly over the 7-day event window.
If you're limited on eggs, focus on Hive Eggs from the event shop for a shot at the Empress Bee. The Gardener Bee (Legendary) is the most practical for daily grinding since it spreads the Pollinated mutation without needing extra bees. The Elemental Bee adds elemental mutations randomly, which is strong but unpredictable.
The reception has been overwhelmingly positive. Grow a Garden confirmed its position as one of the biggest games on Roblox with this update, and player counts spiked within hours of the event going live on May 9.
Players are particularly excited about the Honey Garden as a separate space that doesn't interfere with existing setups. You don't have to tear down your main garden to participate — just switch over when you want to grind event content and switch back when you're done.
The 0.5% Empress Bee hatch rate has sparked the usual debates about RNG, but most players appreciate that the other bee pets are achievable without extreme luck. The Nurse Bee and Gardener Bee are genuinely useful at Rare and Legendary tiers respectively.
Trading activity has also surged. Pollinated and HoneyGlazed plants are fetching premium prices, and early Empress Bee owners are fielding massive offers. For more about the game and ongoing updates, check our Grow a Garden hub page.

The Bizzy Bees 2026 event runs from May 9 to May 16, 2026. You have one week to earn Honey Coins and grab exclusive seeds, pets, and cosmetics before the event shop closes.
Grow plants in your Honey Garden, let bees pollinate them, then submit pollinated plants to the Honey Combpressor on the right side of the Main Platform. Each submission takes about 90 seconds and fills a 30 kg threshold. Heavier crops reach the threshold faster.
Focus on growing heavy crops that hit the 30 kg threshold quickly. The Combpressor cares about weight, not Sheckle value. Upgrade Compressor Speed and Extra Honey Coins in the upgrade tree first to maximize your hourly output.
The Empress Bee is a Divine-rarity pet with a 0.5% hatch chance from Hive Eggs. You can buy Hive Eggs from the Honey Event Shop using Honey Coins, Trade Tokens, or Robux. The shop restocks every 30 minutes.
Two new mutations were added: Pollinated (x3 multiplier) and HoneyGlazed (x5 multiplier). Pollinated is applied when bees interact with your plants in the Honey Garden, while HoneyGlazed is a rarer variant.
Not directly. You need to use the Honey Incubator to convert Honey Seeds into regular versions that can be planted in your main garden. This lets you keep growing event plants after the event ends.
