Haze Seas just expanded its endgame. The Sea 3 Content Expansion rolled out around August 2–3, 2026 and set the game's Roblox title to [SEA 3 EXPANSION], taking over from the Saturn Fruit update. It adds a new Red Emperor superboss, the Ghost Ship event, the Blackleg V2 fighting style, the Mythical Gryphon Sword, and a new Rainbow Haki color. Here's everything that changed and what to chase first.

What's new in the Sea 3 Expansion

The headline is the Red Emperor, a new superboss tucked in the throne room of the Flower Capital. You reach it through the Gatekeeper NPC, and the fight is on a timer: the Red Emperor spawns every 4 hours, but each other superboss you defeat trims that wait by 20 minutes, down to a 2-hour minimum. That turns the rest of the Land of the Gods bosses into a warm-up loop for the new endgame target rather than idle downtime.

Right behind it is the Ghost Ship event. A phantom ship now spawns out near the Land of the Gods, and clearing it drops upgrade materials, currency, and a loot chest — a repeatable farm that doesn't depend on the boss timer. The expansion also hands out new power: the Blackleg V2 fighting style and the Mythical Gryphon Sword, both fresh combat options for the Sea 3 endgame. On top of that, a new Rainbow Haki color is unlockable from the researcher Iris NPC, but it's a long grind — you need to have collected 12 or more Haki colors plus a prismatic shard to earn it.

The quality-of-life pass is unusually deep for a mid-season patch. Fruit-spin animations are faster, boss respawn timers are shorter, and spin cooldowns were reduced, so re-rolling and farming both feel quicker. There's a new sell-all-fruits option, the Skywalk is easier to use, mobile UI got cleaned up, and new title rewards were added. No new level cap was raised in this patch — the Gatekeeper gate sits at Level 4,200, the same requirement that already governed Land of the Gods access.

What this means for players

If you're already at the endgame, the Red Emperor is your new farm target — and the timer mechanic rewards active play, since clearing the other superbosses is now the fastest way to force the Emperor to spawn again. Expect the throne room to stay crowded while the community chases first clears and the Gryphon Sword and Blackleg V2 unlocks. The Ghost Ship is the better pick if you'd rather farm on your own schedule, since it doesn't wait on a boss cooldown.

The Rainbow Haki unlock is a long-haul flex, not a quick power spike — needing 12+ Haki colors and a prismatic shard means most players won't have it for a while, so don't reroll your whole build chasing it early.
