The live experience is titled [ALCHEMIST RELEASE] Jump Showdown. The community wiki names the patch the Sacrificial Exchange update and records that it took Short Alchemist out of Early Access into full release, and added Hundred Man Slayer — the game’s eighth main-roster character, based on Guts from Berserk — behind the Early Access pass.
Three independent dated signals put that update at the end of August 2026. The official Jump Showdown YouTube channel published “Jump Showdown Anime Opening” on August 29, 2026. A new Move Shouts game pass was created in the game’s store on August 30, 2026, according to the Roblox game-pass API. And the community wiki opened its Hundred Man Slayer page on August 31, 2026. We deliberately do not date this patch from the Roblox updated field: that timestamp is a rolling counter and moves without a patch behind it.
What’s next for Jump Showdown?
There is no dated roadmap we can verify, and we would rather say so than guess. The wiki’s own Development History section reads “Information needed”, the game’s Roblox description carries no teaser, and the Roblox virtual-events API returned no scheduled events on five consecutive polls on September 9, 2026.
One forward-looking fact is sourceable. Hundred Man Slayer is still gated behind the Early Access pass, whose store description reads “Gains Access to characters not released to the public.” Short Alchemist followed that exact path before its full release in this update, so a public unlock is the reasonable expectation — but no date has been announced, so we are not inventing one.
