Kaiju Alpha Guide – Cells, Kaiju Unlocks & Free Robux [Game Unavailable]

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: August 19, 2026

Kaiju Alpha Roblox giant monster battle

Kaiju Alpha is no longer available on Roblox as of August 19, 2026. This page is now an archive. It records what the game actually was, how Cells, kaiju unlock costs, Skill Points and the five-skill combat system worked while it was live, and where free Robux is still worth spending.

Status check, August 19, 2026: we ran the liveness test ourselves. A live Roblox experience answers /games/{id} with a 301 to its own slug; a removed one answers 302 to /Title-Unavailable. Place ID 139769003880269 returns the 302, while two known-live place IDs tested in the same minute both returned the expected 301 — so this is the game's status, not a broken check. The games API for universe 9945976408 returns [TITLE UNAVAILABLE], 0 visits, creator [UNKNOWN]. Roblox does not publish a reason and we will not guess at one.

Search is actively misleading here: Google still surfaces a live-looking /games/139769003880269/Kaiju-Alpha link and pages stating the game is active. An indexed URL is not a liveness test. On timing, the last Internet Archive capture that still redirected to the game's own slug is dated August 15, 2026 — so the removal landed between then and our August 19 check. The codes answer is on our sibling page, Are there any Kaiju Alpha codes?; the rest of our coverage sits on the Kaiju Alpha hub.

1. What Kaiju Alpha Was

Kaiju Alpha was a giant-monster battlegrounds experience built by the Roblox community SULU KAKA (ID 1014890693). You did not pilot an avatar with a monster mode — you picked a kaiju at spawn and played the session as that creature, roaming islands, flattening buildings and fighting other players.

The numbers, each tied to the moment it was captured. At our July 31, 2026 check the game was running roughly 9,100 concurrent players against 67.1 million visits. The game's own Roblox structured data on the August 11, 2026 archive capture listed the genre as Action / Battlegrounds & Fighting, a rating of 94.83% from 122,015 ratings, a price of 0 Robux, and support for Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, Xbox and PlayStation. The votes endpoint still answers today: 120,231 up, 6,623 down — 94.8% across 126,854 votes as of August 19, 2026. SULU KAKA itself returns 966,068 members as of August 19, 2026, and the group API also reports it locked; we record that reading without inferring from it.

One piece of history worth keeping: the community wiki records that this Kaiju Alpha was re-released on May 27, 2026 after an earlier version came down, which is why the wiki flags many of its own pages as outdated. That is recorded history only — not an explanation for August, and we are not offering one.

2. How Combat Worked

This part is directly sourced: the developer printed the control scheme in the game's own Roblox description, identical in every archive capture we read between April 9 and August 11, 2026. Keys 1–5 fired the five combat skills, R triggered Roar 1 and T Roar 2. That was the whole input layout.

The community wiki fills in the behaviour, recorded as of its August 14, 2026 last edit: R was the stationary roar, T the moving roar, and attacks fired by clicking or tapping the on-screen ability buttons, which mapped to the number keys on PC. Critically, you could not attack during a roar — roaring mid-exchange committed you to the animation and got you punished.

Two named systems arrived together in Update 25 on May 16, 2026, both in the dev's own patch text: Beam Clash, the beam-versus-beam interaction between ranged kaiju, and Limit Break, the Cell-purchased level-cap extension covered below.

Starter kits were plain and readable. The wiki records Godzilla 1954 with a claw slash, a 360-degree tail spin, a ground-pulse stomp and an incandescent beam. Anguirus 1955 ran a chomp, an area swipe, a 360 tail slash and a dash-claw — and the wiki notes it was the only starter with no beam or projectile of any kind, a real matchup fact rather than a tier opinion. For Godzilla 1955 it lists base damage of 235 (Bite), 265 (Stomp), 100 (Tail Whip) and about 100 per tick on its Atomic beam after a one-second charge.

Sourcing note: those per-ability damage and health values are what the community wiki recorded. With the game unavailable we cannot re-verify them in-game, so treat them as recorded-not-re-verified. The two Kaiju Alpha wikis also disagree on Godzilla 1954's health — 2,400 versus 3,700 — so we print no figure for it.

3. Cells and Kaiju Unlock Costs

Cells were the only unlock currency in Kaiju Alpha. You earned them three ways and three ways only: damaging buildings, damaging other players, and killing other players. There was no premium alternative. Older articles (this page included) called them "U-Cells" — the community wiki now redirects that term straight to Cells.

You spent them on exactly two things: buying a kaiju outright (any kaiju not locked behind a game pass), or Limit Break, which pushed a kaiju you already owned past its standard level cap toward 200. The wiki also records occasional double-Cell weekends marking a significant new kaiju; double-XP was the more common promotion, and "Added X2 Exp" appears verbatim in both the Update 25 and Update 42 patch text.

Unlock prices the community wiki had on record at its August 14, 2026 last edit, in Cells:

Destoroyah Final FormHeisei1,500,000Destoroyah Aggregate Lv.100 & 100 kills + Destoroyah Flying Form Lv.100 & 100 kills

Two things fall out of that table. The free tier was genuinely usable: five kaiju cost nothing, and a sixth (Showa Ghidorah) cost nothing if you joined the SULU KAKA community — which is why the dev's description asked you to. And the top of the ladder was a time problem, not a wallet one: Destoroyah Final Form needed 1.5 million Cells and two other Destoroyah forms at level 100 with 100 kills each. A few kaiju — the wiki names Frostbite Godzilla, Thermo Godzilla and Burning Godzilla — sat behind a game pass and could not be bought with Cells at any price.

Removed claim: an earlier version of this page said daily login rewards paid out Cells and that streaks stacked. We could not source that anywhere, so it is gone. Every Cell in this game came from damage or kills.

4. Skill Points and Leveling

XP came from fighting other players, destroying buildings and — most lucratively — killing other players. Each kaiju levelled independently from level 1, and the XP needed per level rose at a flat rate, so cheaper kaiju levelled faster than expensive ones.

You earned one Skill Point every five levels, to a maximum of 20 per kaiju. Each point went into one of exactly four stats: Charge Regeneration, Vitality, Damage or Speed. Points were not permanent — the wiki records that you could retract and reallocate them at any time, so there was no build you could genuinely ruin.

Correction: an earlier version of this page told readers to invest in "ability cooldown reduction" in the mid-game. That was never one of the four stats. The closest real option was Charge Regeneration, which governed how fast your charge refilled — not a cooldown timer.

What a fresh start looked like, using only mechanics we can source:

  1. Pick one of the three free starters. Godzilla 1954, Godzilla 1955 and Anguirus 1955 all cost nothing; Anguirus had no beam or projectile, so it was the least forgiving at range.
  2. Farm buildings before players. Building damage paid both XP and Cells with none of the risk of losing a fight.
  3. Experiment with Skill Points freely. One every five levels, reallocatable at any time across Charge Regeneration, Vitality, Damage and Speed.
  4. Join the SULU KAKA community. Showa Ghidorah was a free unlock for members — the largest free power jump available.
  5. Pick one Cell target and commit. Prices jumped from 6,250 (King Caesar) straight to 35,000 (Showa Gigan); splitting across that gap left you with nothing.
  6. Limit Break only what you actually play. Raising a cap toward 200 cost Cells that would otherwise buy a whole new kaiju.

5. Update History (Archived)

SULU KAKA shipped fast and wrote the patch notes into the Roblox description itself, so the Internet Archive preserved a dated update trail. Every row below is the game's own description text on that capture date, with the rating the page reported at the same moment.

The developer also advertised the featured kaiju by renaming the Roblox place itself, which the archive timestamps for us: "DESTOROYAH FORM 4" (May 11), "Gezora" (June 10), "GOROSAURUS" (June 16), "Final Wars Godzilla" (July 15), "THERMO" (August 5–7), "Godzilla 2014" (August 9) and "Female Muto" (August 13 and 15, 2026). That last one is the newest live trace of the game we can find anywhere.

6. Codes: What We Removed From This Page

Kaiju Alpha never had a code redemption system. There was no Codes button and no text field to type one into — not on the main screen, in the shop, in settings or on the kaiju-selection screen. Until today this guide carried a one-row "Active Codes" table listing LIKE1500 for 3,000 Gems and 1,000 Coins, marked "Unconfirmed," plus redemption steps for a menu that did not exist. That was a fabrication and we have deleted it — along with the "Gems" currency it referenced, which was never part of this game either.

We traced the source. A fan site built around the game still leads with "Update 24" and pushes LIKE1500, while the real game reached Update 42 by August 11, 2026. That same site is where this page's old tier list and its "x1.5 Coin multiplier" framing came from; everything derived from it has been cut. A guide never owns a codes table anyway — that belongs to our Kaiju Alpha codes page, which has said "no code system" since publication. Our method is written up in how we verify codes.

8. Kaiju Games That Are Still Live

These are separate games with different developers — not sequels or spin-offs of Kaiju Alpha — but they scratch the same itch. We put all three through the same redirect test Kaiju Alpha failed; all three returned a 301 to their own slug on August 19, 2026, and the stats below are live API readings from that check.

Kaiju Universe is the closest match to what Kaiju Alpha was doing — monster-scale combat, era-based roster — and unlike Kaiju Alpha it runs a real code system, tracked on our Kaiju Universe codes page.

More Kaiju Alpha

If Kaiju Alpha is restored we will re-run the liveness test, re-verify the mechanics above in-game and rewrite this page the same day.

9. Frequently Asked Questions

Is Kaiju Alpha still playable on Roblox?

No. As of August 19, 2026, place ID 139769003880269 answers with a 302 redirect to Roblox's Title-Unavailable page instead of the 301 to its own slug that a live experience returns, and the Roblox games API reports [TITLE UNAVAILABLE] with 0 visits and creator [UNKNOWN]. Search results that still show a live-looking Kaiju Alpha link are indexed pages, not proof the game loads.

Did Kaiju Alpha ever have codes?

No. Kaiju Alpha never had a code redemption system — there was no Codes button and no text field to type one into. An earlier version of this guide carried a one-row table listing LIKE1500 for 3,000 Gems and 1,000 Coins. That code was invented by a fan site and we removed it on August 19, 2026. The full answer lives on our Kaiju Alpha codes page.

What were Cells used for in Kaiju Alpha?

Cells were the game's only unlock currency. You earned them by damaging buildings, damaging other players and killing other players, and you spent them either to buy a kaiju outright or to Limit Break a kaiju you already owned, raising its level cap to 200. Kaiju locked behind a game pass could not be bought with Cells at any price.
