Walk near Gus, don't sprint: Because Gus is blind and tracks sound, your footsteps matter more than your position. Move at walk speed through his area, avoid noisy gear, and never fire the Freeze Gun next to him unless you've already committed to running.
Learn one escape route cold: Pick a single path from the upper floors back to the elevator and run it until it's muscle memory. In a panic you won't have time to read the map, so a route you already know beats improvising every time.
