Pressure Tier List (2026) — Best Items Ranked

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: August 7, 2026

Pressure is Urbanshade's underwater DOORS-style horror crawl, where you push through the Hadal Blacksite looting supplies while entities hunt you in the dark. Your survival comes down to the items and gadgets you carry, so this tier list ranks the key gear from S tier down to C tier by real Kroner and Research prices and exact effects, verified as of August 7, 2026.

Pressure holds a median of about 3,123 players at once as of August 7, 2026, which keeps it near the top of Roblox horror. Two currencies decide what you can buy: Kroner, the cash you spend at the Pre-Round and in-run shops during a dive, and Research, the meta-currency you bank between runs and spend at Sebastian's shop. If you're new to the loop, our Pressure guide covers how a run is structured before you spend a single coin.

S Tier — The Best Pressure Items

S tier is two items every serious run wants in hand. One keeps you alive when an entity clips you, the other lights the path without getting you killed. Nothing else in the game is this reliable for the price.

Medkit (50 Kroner / 250 Research)

The Medkit is the best item in Pressure as of August 7, 2026. It heals 75 HP in one use, and in a game where a bad turn from an entity can shave off most of your health bar, that single heal is often the line between reaching the next checkpoint and restarting the run.

It costs 50 Kroner in the Pre-Round Shop or 250 Research from Sebastian, which is cheap for what it saves. Medkits are consumed on use and you can carry up to two at once, so the smart play is to always dive with at least one and top up whenever a shop appears. If you only ever buy one item type in this game, make it this.

Tip: Don't burn a Medkit at a small scratch. Heal when you're low enough that the 75 HP won't overflow your bar, so none of it is wasted. For the full survival loop, see our Pressure guide.

Flash Beacon (75 Kroner / 250 Research)

The Flash Beacon is the safest everyday light source in the game. It lights the whole area in front of you and, unlike a standard flashlight, it does not trigger Squiddles — the entities that react to careless light. That single property makes it the light most experienced players default to.

It runs about twenty charges per room and burns roughly 14% of its charge per use, so it lasts through a level with room to spare. At 75 Kroner or 250 Research it's affordable enough to keep alongside your Medkit. Bright, cheap, and it won't get you ambushed — that's an S-tier item.

A Tier — Core Loadout

A tier is the rest of the loadout most guides recommend. None of these three wins a run on its own, but skip them and you'll feel the gap in light, doors, or battery life.

Regular Flashlight (50 Kroner / 150 Research)

The Regular Flashlight is the primary light most players start with. It drains its battery slowly and covers the ground you walk, so it's the workhorse between Flash Beacon pulses. The catch is that it can anger light-sensitive entities if you're careless, which is why it sits below the Beacon.

At 50 Kroner or 150 Research it's one of the cheapest tools in the shop, and pairing it with a Flash Beacon gives you a safe long-range light plus a steady close-range one. Most survivable loadouts carry both.

Batteries (15 Kroner / 50 Research each)

Batteries recharge a light source by 50% each, and they're the quiet reason your flashlight survives a long level. They're not exciting, but running dry in the dark is how a lot of runs end, so carrying a couple is standard.

They cost 15 Kroner or 50 Research apiece, the lowest price in the shop, and most recommended loadouts pack two. They land in A rather than S only because they support other items instead of doing anything on their own.

Code Breacher (25 Kroner / 100 Research)

The Code Breacher forces a locked door open when you don't have the keycard or the time to search for one. In an emergency — an entity closing in on a dead-end room — it's the gadget that turns a trap into an exit.

At 25 Kroner or 100 Research it's almost free, and one in your pocket is cheap insurance. It's A tier rather than higher because you won't need it every room, but the runs where you do need it, you really need it.

B Tier — Situational Picks

B tier is two items that are strong for a specific goal but come with real trade-offs. Buy them when you know why you want them, not by default.

Sebastian's Scanner (100 Kroner / 90 with group)

Sebastian's Scanner highlights loot through walls: Research glows yellow, keycards and password papers blue, items red, and batteries green. For a player farming Research, that map-wide visibility is a huge time-saver, and it's the best gadget in the game for hoovering up a level's contents.

The downsides keep it out of the top tiers. It has low battery life and slows your walking speed while equipped, both dangerous when an entity is on your tail. It costs 100 Kroner from the Dead-Drop Shop — or 90 Kroner if you've joined the Urbanshade: Hadal Division group — and only appears in the shop once you've earned the "Just Good Business" achievement. Great for grinders, risky for pure survival.

Blacklight (100 Kroner / 400 Research)

The Blacklight is a safety light: like the Flash Beacon, it won't anger the entities that hate ordinary light, so it's a panic option when you're low on HP and can't afford a mistake. The trade-off is limited visibility and a battery that drains quickly.

At 100 Kroner or 400 Research it's pricier than the Beacon while showing you less of the room, so it's a specialist tool rather than a main light. Keep one for the moments survival matters more than seeing far ahead.

C Tier — Rare Luxuries

C tier isn't "bad" — these are powerful items you simply can't plan around, because they're rare, event-locked, or expensive. Enjoy them when they show up; don't build a strategy on them.

The Necrobloxicon (rare drop / high-cost unlock)

The Necrobloxicon is a rare lantern variant that shines brightly across an area, lets you change its color with right-click, and — the standout trait — recharges itself slowly once closed, so it never needs batteries. In skilled hands it's arguably the best light in the game.

The problem is access. It has an extremely low chance of spawning in item spots, and the shop-unlock price is disputed between sources (one lists 250 Kroner behind achievements, another 666 Research), so treat the exact cost as unconfirmed. Because you can't count on finding one, it's a luxury rather than a core pick.

Splorglight (event reward / 2500 Research)

The Splorglight emits a cyan light that, like the Blacklight, won't anger Squiddles or stop Candlebearers. Its quirk is that batteries don't recharge it — you top it up by repeatedly right-clicking. It's a genuinely useful safe light with a fun catch.

It's a collector's item first: originally the reward for beating the 2024 April Fools event, now obtainable as a rare pull from the Notebook or from the Gambling Room for 2500 Research. Fun to own, but the Flash Beacon does the safe-light job for a fraction of the cost. Also worth a mention here is the Dweller Chunk, the rarest heal in the game — it auto-heals you until you die, but only appears when Wall Dwellers are killed by environmental hazards, so you can't shop for it.

How We Ranked These Items

We ranked on two questions, in order. First: does the item directly keep you alive on a run? The Medkit (a 75 HP heal) and the Flash Beacon (bright light that won't trigger Squiddles) do that most reliably for the least Kroner, so they take S tier. Second, for everything else, how much does it round out a survivable loadout per coin spent? The Regular Flashlight, Batteries, and Code Breacher fill the standard kit at low prices, so they sit in A.

The Sebastian's Scanner and Blacklight are strong for one job each — Research farming and low-HP safety — but carry trade-offs like slowed movement or short range, which is why they're B rather than A. The Necrobloxicon and Splorglight are excellent when you have them, but they're too rare or event-locked to plan around, so they close out C.

Prices and effects were checked against community item guides and the Pressure wiki on August 7, 2026, and we noted where sources disagree (the Necrobloxicon's unlock cost is listed differently in different places, so we left the exact figure unconfirmed rather than guess). Developer Urbanshade can add items or reprice shop stock with any update, so we re-verify this page after each patch. We deliberately didn't rank cosmetic item skins — those are visual only and don't change how a run plays.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best item in Pressure in 2026?

The Medkit is the best item in Pressure as of August 7, 2026. It heals 75 HP for only 50 Kroner in the Pre-Round Shop (or 250 Research from Sebastian), and a single heal is often the difference between finishing a run and dying in the Hadal Blacksite. The Flash Beacon sits right beside it in S tier because it lights your path without angering Squiddles.

What is the best light source in Pressure?

The Flash Beacon is the safest everyday light in Pressure as of August 7, 2026. It costs 75 Kroner or 250 Research, gives you around twenty charges per room, and doesn't trigger Squiddles, so it won't get you killed the way a careless flashlight can. The rare Necrobloxicon is stronger because it recharges itself, but it's far too scarce to rely on.

Is Sebastian's Scanner worth it in Pressure?

Sebastian's Scanner is worth it for Research farming, not raw survival. For 100 Kroner (90 if you've joined the Urbanshade group) it highlights Research, keycards, items, and batteries through walls, but it drains fast and slows your walk speed while equipped. Buy it once you're comfortable surviving and want to grind Research faster, not before you can consistently reach the exit.

That's the full Pressure tier list for 2026. The short version: dive with a Medkit and a Flash Beacon every time, round out the kit with a flashlight, batteries, and a Code Breacher, and treat the rare lanterns as a bonus when luck hands you one.
