Barely. As of September 14, 2026 there is exactly one active site-wide Roblox promo code — SPIDERCOLA — and Roblox hasn't released a new site-wide code since late 2024. SPIDERCOLA still redeems at the classic roblox.com/promocodes page for the Spider Cola shoulder pet. Everything else on that page, including TWEETROBLOX, is expired. The old Mansion of Wonder and Island of Move codes are entered inside those games — they were never site-wide promo codes — and sources now disagree on whether they still redeem, so we no longer count them as active.

Roblox promo codes give free avatar cosmetics — accessories, bundles and gear that follow your character into every experience — and they cost no Robux. The catch in 2026 is that the well has nearly run dry: the honest truth is that the real, frequently-updated value now lives in per-game codes (Blox Fruits, Grow a Garden, and dozens more), which we link near the bottom of this page.

In-game codes for Mansion of Wonder & Island of Move (not site-wide)

You'll see these codes on a lot of "Roblox promo code" lists, but they were never redeemed at roblox.com/promocodes — they're entered inside two Roblox-made games, Mansion of Wonder (at the Swag Booth) and Island of Move (near the spawn area). That call is firmer than it was: as of September 14, 2026 PCGamesN lists all eleven by name under "Expired codes" — it used to only leave them out of the active table — and GamesRadar+ files them as expired too. How to Redeem Roblox Promo Codes (Step-by-Step)

If you've never redeemed a Roblox promo code before, here's exactly how to do it. The process works on desktop, mobile, and tablet browsers.

1. Go to the promo code page. Open your browser and navigate to roblox.com/promocodes. This is the official Roblox code redemption page. Don't trust any other site claiming to redeem codes for you.
2. Log in to your Roblox account. Make sure you're signed into the account where you want to receive the free item. If you're already logged in, you'll see the code entry box right away.
3. Enter the promo code. Type or paste the code into the text field exactly as shown — promo codes are case-sensitive, so SPIDERCOLA must be entered in the exact capitalization.
4. Click the Redeem button. After entering the code, click "Redeem" and wait a moment. You'll see a success message confirming the item has been added to your account, or an error if the code is invalid or already used.
5. Check your inventory. Open your Roblox inventory to find your new item. It'll be under the matching category — accessories, bundles, or gear depending on what you redeemed. You can equip it from there.

Recently Expired & Retired Promo Codes

The following codes used to work but have since been deactivated by Roblox. We keep them listed here so you don't waste time trying codes that no longer work. If you see any of these codes listed as "active" on another site, that information is outdated.

Most expired codes were tied to brand partnerships or holiday events. Roblox regularly partnered with companies like Walmart, Amazon, and Target for limited-time promotional items. Once the promotion ends, the codes stop working permanently. The most recent expirations include TWEETROBLOX (April 2026) and FREENGNBOI/FREENGNGON (early 2026).

Where to Find New Roblox Promo Codes

Roblox doesn't release new promo codes on a regular schedule. They tend to drop during special events, partnerships, or milestones. New promo codes have become increasingly rare — the last batch was released in late 2024. Roblox has shifted its free-item strategy toward in-game events, brand collaborations, and Avatar Shop freebies rather than universal redeem codes.

Roblox occasionally shares codes on their official Twitter/X, Instagram and YouTube accounts, usually around events like RDC or major milestones — following them is the fastest way to catch a time-limited code.

Roblox Events & In-Game Experiences

In-platform events are how Roblox distributes most free cosmetics now. They aren't traditional codes — you join an event experience and complete objectives for the item — so watch the Roblox Events page rather than waiting on a redeem code. One correction worth making: The Hunt is a March event series (2024 and 2025 editions), not a summer one. The large hunt that ran through August, Egg Hunt 2026: The Grand Eggspress, opened July 29 and closed on August 29, 2026 as scheduled — PCGamesN's September 1 note says the same thing. As of September 1, 2026 no comparable platform-wide hunt has been announced to replace it. It is worth knowing what that event was, in case it returns: a community project from Studio Koi Koi (Koiverse group), not a Roblox-run event, whose full six-chapter game cost 30 USD with Chapters 0 to 2 playable as a free demo. Its rewards were badges and UGC items earned in-game, so no promo code was involved either way.

Brand Partnerships & Prime Gaming

Some of the best historic promo codes came from brand deals with Walmart, Amazon, Target and Rossmann, usually announced on the brand's channels. If you have an Amazon Prime membership, also check Prime Gaming — Roblox has dropped exclusive item bundles there with little notice.

Avatar Shop Freebies

As of August 7, 2026, the easiest no-code freebies live in the Avatar Shop: search "free" and filter to "All Items" to browse hundreds of free accessories and clothing that need no code at all.

One route to cross off your list: Microsoft Rewards. Guides everywhere still tell you to earn Bing search points and redeem them for a Roblox gift card, but Microsoft pulled every Roblox digital gift card denomination from the Rewards catalog on April 8, 2026, and a Microsoft staff moderator confirmed on April 23, 2026 that no restock date is published and there is no guaranteed alternative inside Rewards. Redeeming points for an Xbox or Microsoft Store card and buying Robux with that credit still works, but that's a purchase, not a freebie. Roblox Promo Codes vs Game Codes — What's the Difference

If you're confused about the difference between Roblox promo codes and game codes, you're not alone. They sound similar but work very differently.

Promo codes come from Roblox itself and give cosmetic items that follow your avatar across the whole platform — but they're rare and getting rarer. Game codes come from individual developers and give in-game rewards (coins, gems, XP boosts) that only work inside that one game, yet they drop far more often. For example, Blox Fruits codes give XP boosts and stat resets only within Blox Fruits, while Grow a Garden codes hand out seeds and sheckles that mean nothing anywhere else. Both are completely free.

We don't copy code lists from other trackers. On August 7, 2026 we opened roblox.com/promocodes and entered SPIDERCOLA on a test account to confirm it still redeems. We have re-run the cross-check on every pass since, most recently on September 7, 2026 against PCGamesN (updated August 31, 2026) and GamesRadar+ (JSON-LD dateModified September 1, 2026) — two unrelated owners — so the single "Active" row is backed by at least two independent sources plus our own redeem test.
