Violence District is an asymmetric horror game by the verified group VIOLENCE DISTRICT (owner Cerealboii): five survivors repair generators and race for the gates while one player hunts them. Still headed “GAME IS IN ALPHA” by its developers, it holds a 57,087-player seven-day median on 1.38 billion visits as of September 2, 2026.

What’s the current Violence District update?

There is no version number, so the answer is a name and a date: The SCP Update, shipped May 16, 2026, adding the killer The Cure (15,000 Screws, S tier) and the Riot Shield item (12,000 Screws). Four records date it, none of them a tracker:

The [CURE] tag in the live game name points at that killer: a theme, not a build number.

Nothing has shipped since. The group’s games feed — the real publish stamp — still dates the last place publish to July 22, 2026, 09:13 UTC, and this universe holds one place, so no sub-place republish hides behind it. Roblox’s “last updated” field read August 31, 2026, but that is a rolling counter, not a patch.

What’s next for Violence District?

No dated evidence of an upcoming update exists. On September 2, 2026 the virtual-events feed for universe 6739698191 was empty and the group shout blank (592,102 members); the wiki’s Updates page is headed “PAGE IS INACTIVE”, last edited December 14, 2025. The wiki owner now sends readers to the official Discord — 348,109 members, 56,035 online that day — provably the real server, since its profile links back to Roblox community 8818124, the group that owns this universe.

Fan channels are no substitute: an August 26, 2026 video promising an “upcoming update” is the creator’s wishlist, its own chapter markers reading “my ideas about the update”.

Are there Violence District codes?

No — and there never have been. There is no redemption system and no box to type a code into, so both tables on our Violence District codes page are empty by design, re-verified September 2, 2026. A Spanish-locale control test returned the description as “[CURAR] Distrito de Violencia”, fully translated — proof the English text is the developers’ own, and it never mentions codes.

The count is strongly diurnal, so a snapshot means nothing here. Across 28 readings between August 26 and September 2, 2026 it ran 30,451 to 93,270 concurrent, median 57,087, and the highest reading of each day stayed inside 80,512–93,270: large and steady, not a spike.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does Violence District have codes?

No. As of September 2, 2026 there is still no redemption system — no field to type a code into — and the virtual-events feed for universe 6739698191, where Roblox developers publish launch codes, is empty. A Spanish-locale control test proves the English description is the developers’ own, and it never mentions codes.

What was the last Violence District update?

The SCP Update of May 16, 2026, which added the killer The Cure and the Riot Shield. The developers’ event listing dropped its “(Date is not confirmed)” line between archive captures of April 17 and May 21, 2026, the game’s og:title gained the [CURE] tag between captures on May 15 and May 16, and the wiki owner’s May 17 announcement calls it “yesterday’s update”. Nothing has shipped since.

Does the [CURE] tag in the game’s name mean a new version?

No. A bracket tag flags a theme, not a build number, and it lags the patch. [CURE] names The Cure, a 15,000-Screw SCP-049-themed killer added on May 16, 2026 — the game already carried the tag when it entered our radar on August 4, 2026.
