How to Unlock Kits in BedWars
There are 109 kits in BedWars (110 with the blank "None" slot), unlocking six different ways — some free, some 399 Robux, some 999, and some closed for good. This is the price list and the unlock map. For which kit is strongest, see our BedWars fighter kit tier list.

The six ways a kit unlocks
A kit reaches your account through one of six routes, and the route is a property of the kit, not a choice you make:
- Free on first join — three kits, handed to every new account.
- Player level — two kits are level milestones and cannot be bought or gifted.
- The weekly free rotation — three kits free each week, four at player level 20, rotating every Friday at 3:00pm PT.
- Direct purchase — Robux or BedCoins, at one of three tiers.
- Robux bundles — some kits exist only inside a bundle and have no standalone price.
- Lucky Crates — a small drop chance, costing nothing but luck.
What every BedWars kit costs
Robux and BedCoins are alternatives. Verified against the live Roblox game-pass API on August 22, 2026, where 46 kit passes are listed at exactly 399 Robux each.

Jade is no longer free. She was a Season 1 Free Pass level 30 reward in 2021. Since the August 14, 2026 "Legacy!" update she is sold in the Jade Kit Bundle for 999 Robux with the Fallen Angel skin, and that update also gave her a three-tier Jade Hammer bought in-match for 40 iron, 80 iron and 4 emeralds. Warrior is not a cheap beginner kit. He was Season 1 Battle Pass level 10, but today he sits in the top tier at 599 Robux or 25,000 BedCoins — a Tank whose Warrior Armor beats diamond armor and whose Final Stand survives one fatal hit. A 999 Robux Warrior Kit Bundle adds the Ice Viking skin.
The kits you get without paying
Five kits cost nothing at all, permanently:
- Isabel (Fighter, free on first join) — her shield blocks 8 / 13 / 20 / 30 damage by sword tier, and the Emerald Shield blocks the first hit outright.
- Ragnar (Destroyer, free on first join) — Berserker's Rage gives 50% faster block breaking and 10% damage reduction for 10 seconds, plus discounted axes and pickaxes.
- Marcel (Defender, free on first join) — his Defense Scanner buys bed-defence blocks directly, with up to 23% off blocks and two Tesla Coil Traps instead of one.
- Whisper (Support) — player level 10; cannot be bought or gifted.
- Taliyah (Economy) — player level 15; cannot be bought or gifted.
How to earn BedCoins in 2026
BedCoins arrived in August 2024 as the no-Robux route to kits, and how you earn them has changed since. Earning BedCoins from playing matches was removed on November 7, 2025. If a guide still tells you to grind 1,000 a day from games, it is describing a system that no longer exists. What pays out now:
- The AFK Area — 60 per hour; 69 with the VIP Rank game pass or Roblox Premium, and 78 with both.
- Battle Pass levels, Lucky Crates, tournament wins, the Clan Shop and event shops.
- Direct purchase with Robux, or a gift.
Do the maths first: a 10,000 BedCoin kit is roughly 167 hours in the AFK Area at the base rate, or 128 hours at 78/hour, and BedCoins cap at 50,000. If Robux is faster for you, our BedWars free Robux guide covers the legitimate routes.
Rent a kit before you buy it
Kit Rental Tickets unlock a kit you do not own for three days; you can also rent with BedCoins directly: 1,500 for a standard kit, 2,000 for a battle-pass kit, 3,000 for a holiday-bundle kit. Renting a 10,000 BedCoin kit for 1,500 first is a cheap way to test it.
Tickets drop from Lucky Crates at Epic, Legendary and Mythic rarity — the Battle Pass ticket is Legendary, and the ALL ticket, which rents any kit in the game, is Mythic. Class tickets rent any kit in that class but never a battle-pass kit. Finishing the tutorial grants a Beginner ticket good for a full week on Barbarian, Builder, Archer or Baker.
Kits you cannot buy at any price
A large chunk of the roster is closed. Do not budget for these:
- Void Regent — sold only inside the 1,499 Robux Holiday Bundle 2021, which ran December 23, 2021 to January 3, 2022. Never giftable or sold separately, and it has not returned. Any page quoting a current price for it is wrong.
- Battle-pass kits from Seasons 1 to 9 — closed unless Easy.gg re-releases them individually, as it did with Warrior and Jade. Aery was Season 3 battle pass level 50 and has been unobtainable since March 18, 2022.
- Holiday bundle headliners — Sheila (2022), Sigrid (2023), Krystal (2024) and Sophia (2025) each shipped as the one kit in their bundle that could not be bought separately.
Season 10 is the exception: Agni, Styx, Nyoka, Bekzat and Hephaestus all went on general sale at 399 Robux or 10,000 BedCoins after the season ended, and the live game-pass API confirms all five are still listed.
Which kit should you spend on first?
Buy from the 399 Robux / 10,000 BedCoin tier. It is the cheapest entry point and holds most of the roster, so paying 599 or 999 for a first kit only makes sense if you specifically want Warrior or Jade. Test first: the Beginner ticket covers Barbarian, Builder, Archer and Baker for a week, all four in the 399 tier, and the rotation cycles every kit past you eventually.
One caveat on Ember, which players often try to buy directly: he has no standalone price. The only route is the Ember & Lumen Kit Bundle at 799 Robux, which includes Lumen. The other things kits cost you
Owning a kit is not the end of it:
- Kit Contracts — 10 tiers per kit; the first half free, the second 149 Robux or 5,000 BedCoins unless you owned the kit before August 29, 2025.
- Armor Trims — 1,500 BedCoins for a random trim, usable on any kit you own.
- Gifting — 399 Robux for a standard kit, 479 for a newer one, 799 for a Battle Pass.
- The Battle Pass — 799 Robux, or 300 per level (15,000 for all 50), plus 20% bonus XP.
How we verified this
We do not have in-game access, so nothing here is a play-tested claim. Every price and unlock route was cross-checked from two directions:
- The BedWars Wiki as raw wikitext, via its
api.phpendpoint rather than the rendered page — the Kit, Bundles, BedCoins, Kit Rental Ticket and individual kit articles, whose latest revisions run from June to August 21, 2026. - The live Roblox game-pass API for universe 2619619496 (place ID 6872265039), filtered on
isForSale. It returned 46 kit passes at 399 Robux and the Ember & Lumen Kit Bundle at 799 Robux, matching the wiki's tiers exactly.
That API only exposes Robux, so every BedCoin figure here is wiki-sourced and dated, not API-verified. Anything neither source confirmed was dropped — including this week's free rotation, because the wiki's gallery lags the Friday reset.
Live figures as of August 22, 2026: BedWars by Easy.gg holds a 7-day median of 43,691 concurrent players (range 26,280–57,647 across 28 samples, August 15–22) on 11.6 billion lifetime visits, and was last updated 06:47 UTC on August 22, 2026. Its store page states updates ship every Friday at 3:00pm PDT — which is why prices and rotations are worth re-checking weekly.
