S Tier — Best Kits in BedWars

These are the kits that warp the meta around them. If you're serious about climbing ranks, you'll want at least one S-tier kit in your rotation. They perform well in every game mode and provide advantages that other kits simply can't match.

Aery

Aery is the single most impactful kit in BedWars right now. The teleportation ability lets you warp directly to any ally on the map, making rotations instant. You don't have to bridge. You don't have to waste resources. You just appear where you're needed most.

On top of the teleport, Aery grants shields to the allies you teleport to. This means every arrival doubles as a defensive buff for your team. In squads, a well-timed Aery teleport can turn a 1v2 at your bed into a 2v2 with a shield advantage. The teleport range was slightly reduced in a recent patch, but it still covers the vast majority of practical distances on every map.

Void Regent gives you control over the battlefield in a way no other kit does. The void portals let you create shortcuts across the map, cutting travel time and enabling surprise attacks from angles your opponents don't expect. The portal cooldown was increased by 5 seconds in a recent balance update, but the kit remains dominant.

The real power here is the exclusive Void Axe. This weapon lets you leap forward 10 blocks, deal 15 damage on impact, and heal up to 60% of the damage dealt. That's up to 9 HP returned per hit. Evelynn

A Tier — Excellent Kits

A-tier kits are strong picks that perform well in most situations. They won't carry you as hard as the S-tier options, but they're reliable, effective, and can absolutely win games. These kits often excel in specific scenarios while remaining solid everywhere else.

Warrior

Warrior is the straightforward fighter's kit. It gives you increased damage output and damage resistance, making you harder to kill and deadlier in every engagement. The damage resistance was recently buffed by 5%, which pushed Warrior from "good" to "excellent" in the current patch.

This kit thrives in duels. When you meet an enemy on a bridge or at a resource generator, Warrior's stat bonuses mean you win most even fights. It's also one of the best kits for bed defense because you can tank more hits while defending, giving your teammates time to respawn and help. For players who prefer a direct combat approach over abilities and tricks, Warrior is the pick.

The main weakness is a lack of utility. Warrior doesn't teleport, doesn't go invisible, and doesn't heal. It just fights better. In team modes, that can feel limiting compared to kits that bring something extra to the squad. But sometimes, hitting harder and surviving longer is all you need.

Baker

Baker is the ultimate support kit in BedWars, and it's not particularly close. The Health Apple costs just 30 Iron and provides solid healing to you and nearby teammates. The Speed Pie costs 2 Emeralds and gives a movement speed buff that makes rotations faster and fights harder to lose.

In squads, Baker is borderline essential. A team without a Baker has to rely entirely on natural regeneration and resource management for healing, while a Baker team has a constant stream of sustain. The speed buffs from Speed Pie also stack well with aggressive pushes — your whole squad moves faster, arrives together, and overwhelms defenders.

Baker isn't flashy. You won't see highlight clips of Baker plays. But the consistent value it provides over the course of a full match is enormous. Pyro

Pyro brings fire-based attacks with area-of-effect damage that makes it a nightmare for grouped-up enemies. The AoE damage potential is strong for area denial, particularly around bed defenses where attackers tend to cluster in predictable spots.

As a defensive kit, Pyro excels. You can lay down fire around your bed and force attackers to either take damage or find alternate routes. This buys your team time and punishes rushed pushes. On offense, Pyro's fire abilities can flush defenders out of fortified positions, making bed breaks easier for your team.

Archer

Archer is the premier ranged damage dealer in BedWars. The ability to deal damage from a distance means you can chip away at defenders before committing to a bed push. You can also harass bridge builders from your own island, slowing enemy aggression without risking anything.

The catch is that Archer requires genuine aim skill. Miss your shots and you're essentially playing with no kit ability at all. The best Archer players can dominate lobbies by keeping pressure on multiple enemies simultaneously, but average players will get more value from kits with less mechanical demand. It's a high-risk, high-reward pick.

Spirit Catcher

Spirit Catcher's ghost abilities add an interesting utility layer to your gameplay. The spectral mechanics let you scout enemy positions and gather information that would otherwise require risky bridge plays. In team modes, that information can guide your squad's decision-making.

The problem is that Spirit Catcher's abilities are highly situational. Some games the ghost utility wins you a critical fight. Other games it barely matters. Compared to kits that provide consistent value every single match, Spirit Catcher's inconsistency keeps it in B tier. If you enjoy the playstyle, it's viable — just know you're giving up reliability for occasional brilliance.

Melody

Melody provides music-based buffs to nearby teammates. In theory, the buffs are useful. In practice, Baker does the support role better with more impactful healing and speed boosts. Melody's buffs are smaller in magnitude and require you to stay close to allies to maintain them.

Where Melody has a niche is in casual team play where your squad stays grouped up naturally. The passive buffing requires less active management than Baker's items, making it a lower-effort support option. For competitive play, though, Baker outclasses Melody in every measurable way. C Tier — Average Kits

C-tier kits aren't terrible, but they don't bring enough to justify picking them over higher-tier alternatives. They tend to focus on resource gathering or building rather than combat, which limits their impact in the moments that decide matches.

Lumberjack

Lumberjack offers a resource gathering bonus and an axe that deals extra damage to blocks. In theory, faster resource collection and faster bed-breaking sounds useful. In reality, the combat weakness is too significant. You'll gather resources 15-20% faster, but you'll lose fights against any kit with combat bonuses.

The block damage bonus has some niche value for speed-running bed breaks, but you still have to get past defenders first. Against coordinated teams, Lumberjack just doesn't bring enough firepower to compete.

Farmer

Farmer provides steady passive resource generation. The extra resources trickle in over time, giving you a slight economic advantage throughout the match. But BedWars games are decided by fights and bed breaks, not by who has 10 extra iron at the 5-minute mark.

The lack of any combat ability is Farmer's downfall. Every resource in the world doesn't help if you can't win the engagements that matter. Farmer can be fun in casual matches where the pace is slower, but it won't hold up against competent opponents running combat kits.

Builder

Builder gets increased building speed. That's essentially the entire kit. Faster block placement has niche value for speed bridging and creating defenses quickly, but it doesn't help you win fights, break beds, or support teammates in any meaningful way.

In rare cases, a skilled Builder player can create defensive structures faster than enemies can break them. But in most matches, the time saved by faster building is marginal compared to the combat advantages other kits provide. Builder sits at the bottom of this list for a reason.

How We Ranked These Kits

Our tier list isn't based on feelings. We used three core criteria to evaluate every kit as of March 2026:

Win rate contribution: We tracked performance across hundreds of matches in solos, duos, and squads. Kits that consistently appeared on winning teams scored higher. Aery and Void Regent showed up on winning sides significantly more often than any other kits.

Versatility: A kit that only works in squads but is useless in solos gets penalized. The best kits perform well regardless of team size or map. This is why Evelynn ranks S tier despite being a "niche" assassin kit — it's effective in every mode.

Patch impact: Recent balance changes matter. Warrior's 5% damage resistance buff pushed it firmly into A tier. Void Regent's portal cooldown increase by 5 seconds was notable but not enough to drop it from S tier. We re-evaluate these rankings after every major patch from Easy.gg.

We also considered accessibility. Kits that require extreme mechanical skill (like Archer) get a small penalty because most players won't reach their ceiling. Kits with straightforward value (like Baker) get a small boost because they deliver results immediately.
