Blox Fruits Best Fruits (2026) — Top 10 Ranked for Update 31.4

Tiger is the best fruit in Blox Fruits right now. That is a change. Update 31.4, "The Summer PvP Patch", went live on August 7, 2026 and is the largest balance pass the game has shipped: 121 changes across 39 named targets, covering fruits, styles, swords, guns, races and systems. Tiger took nine. Kitsune, the long-standing #1, was nerfed.

One caveat on the version number: the developer published the notes on August 6 as “The Balance Log — Balance Patch 001” without stamping a version on them. 31.4 is the Blox Fruits Wiki's numbering; its update index dates the release to August 7, 2026. Prices below are Blox Fruit Dealer costs in Money (Beli) and Robux; our codes page is checked daily.

How We Verified This Ranking

Three named sources, all read on August 27, 2026. The developer's balance log at gamerrobot.com ships its notes as structured data rather than prose; we parsed it and counted 121 changes across 39 targets, so every "buffed by N" here is a count, not an impression. The Blox Fruits Wiki's fruit pages supplied every Dealer price, type, rarity, mutation cost and passive percentage below. The live Roblox game description enumerates the current 41-fruit roster and is the only source that reliably catches a renamed fruit. We did not play the game to build this list and will not pretend otherwise. Sorting all 41 fruits into S–D tiers is our tier list's job; this page answers the narrower question of which to buy next. We rebuild it whenever a balance patch ships; spot an error first and our Discord is the fastest way to tell us. Not affiliated with the Blox Fruits developers or Roblox.

1. Tiger

Tiger — Beast, Mythical, Update 28, 5,000,000 Money or 3,000 Robux. Tiger replaced the old Leopard fruit and won 31.4 outright with nine changes: eight buffs, one concession. Its transformation grants 33% cooldown reduction, roughly an 80% speed boost, 20% damage reduction and lava-puddle immunity, but locks out fighting styles, swords and guns. A Fire Meter fills from landing moves: 75% unlocks the held [C], 100% unlocks Blazing Form, and leaving that form triggers an Overheat.

31.4 made Blazing Form the payoff it was meant to be: [V] now heals 30% of maximum health on entry, [Z] damage is up 30%, [X] travel speed up 50%, and [F] breaks Instinct with 30% less wind-up. The concession: transformed [F] can now be dodged with Instinct.

2. Kitsune

Kitsune — Beast, Mythical, Update 22, 8,000,000 Money or 4,000 Robux. Still excellent, no longer untouchable, still the best grinder here — see our guide to getting Kitsune. 31.4 nerfed the base fruit three ways: the untransformed [Z] tap no longer breaks Instinct and is now Instinct-trickable, [X] channels on hit so you cannot cancel into another ability, and [C] gained 0.3 seconds of end-lag.

Its Empyrean mutation was hit separately and not identically — four changes, dropping the Instinct-trickable clause but adding a 30% damage cut to the [Z] hold base Kitsune did not take. Both take an indirect hit too: the patch cut Instinct dodge regeneration from 40 seconds to 30, so opponents replenish dodges 25% faster. A fruit built on beating Instinct loses when Instinct improves.

3. Dough (Awakened)

Dough — Elemental, Mythical, Update 9, 2,800,000 Money or 2,400 Robux. Five buffs, all aimed at making its sticky chains land. Awakened [Z] tap gained 15% hitbox; [X] lost 20% on-hit end-lag and gained 20% hitbox; [C] gained 25% hitbox and 40% more stun; [V] can now be held 4 seconds instead of 3. Longer [C] stun is the whole point of Dough — more stun means more follow-up frames.

4. Quake (Awakened)

Quake — Natural, Legendary, an Update 1 original, 1,000,000 Money or 1,500 Robux. The surprise of the patch, and by a distance the best value here. Awakened [Z] gained 20% damage and lost 70% of its end-lag; [X] and [C] each gained 40% damage while losing 30% wind-up and 30% end-lag. End-lag was Quake's historic problem — big hits that left you rooted — so cutting most of it while adding 40% damage is a rework in all but name; the wiki now states outright that 31.4 has made Quake very strong. The catch is awakening: 17,000 Fragments for all four moves.

5. Dragon

Dragon — Beast, Mythical, Update 13, 15,000,000 Money or 5,000 Robux. Not a typo: Dragon is the game's most expensive fruit, roughly twice Kitsune's Money price, which is why our free Robux guide uses it as the benchmark. It has Western and Eastern variants with different movesets plus a Hybrid Form entered with [V] once the orange Fury Meter fills; Eastern transformed is immune to all stuns and is the better raid form. 31.4 gave it exactly one change, to Hybrid Form: [X] now breaks Instinct and gained 20% hitbox — small alone, meaningful on a form already immune to stuns. It sits at #5 purely on price. The Draco race and the Dragon fruit are separate systems.

6. Ghost

Ghost — Natural, Rare, Update 16, 940,000 Money or 1,275 Robux. The cheapest fruit here and the most underrated: its Resurrection passive brings you back at 50% health after you die, which changes how aggressively you can play. Its PvE reputation was built in Update 30, when [V] Ghostbusters was reworked; 31.4 added five more buffs, headlined by summoned ghosts that can now mirror sword abilities — a genuinely new capability, not a percentage tweak. [Z] and [F] both lost 50% cast time. Ghost replaced the old Revive fruit in Update 21.

7. Spirit

Spirit — Natural, Mythical, Update 17.1, 3,400,000 Money or 2,550 Robux, the sixth most expensive fruit in the game. This is the fruit once called Soul, revamped and renamed in Update 17.3.5 along with its moves. Its kit summons spirits themed on demons (Ra) and angels (Shu) that attack, heal or grant speed, all area-of-effect with little knockback. Spirit received no changes at all in 31.4 — it did not get worse, but everything around it moved.

8. Shadow

Shadow — Natural, Mythical, Update 16, 2,900,000 Money or 2,425 Robux. Slightly more expensive than Dough, not the same price, whatever most lists claim. A high-skill PvP fruit: a charged [V] Corvus Torment drains a health bar, [X] Shade Nest auto-aims, [Z] Somber Rebellion grants i-frames. Like Spirit it was untouched by 31.4 — a relative demotion in a patch where Tiger, Quake, Dough and Ghost all got stronger. Choosing between Shadow at 2,900,000 and Quake at 1,000,000, take Quake.

9. Buddha (Awakened)

Buddha — Beast, Legendary, an Update 1 original, 1,200,000 Money or 1,650 Robux. Still the grinding fruit, and two common errors need correcting. Buddha is a Beast fruit, not an Elemental one, so it grants no Elemental NPC immunity. What it does grant is the Divine Aura passive: while transformed, 35% damage reduction against all attacks (46.4% against NPCs), rising to 45% awakened (54.6% against NPCs).

It is not 90% — that number comes from a stacked gear build, not the fruit. What is true is the reach: the transformation extends melee and sword [M1] range to five times a normal player's, eight awakened. Untouched by 31.4, and still where our beginner guide sends new players first.

10. Yeti

Yeti — Beast, Mythical, Update 25, 5,000,000 Money or 3,000 Robux, tied with Tiger as the fourth most expensive fruit. A lockdown fruit, unusual among Beast fruits in having no Fury Meter to charge first. 31.4 gave it a flat 10% increase to all damage plus 10% hitbox on [F]. The bigger change is its Fiend mutation from Update 30: six buffs, including 17% more damage across every move and a 60% end-lag cut on [C]. Yeti earns the last slot on the mutation, not the base fruit.

What Is Coming Next

Anyone about to spend 15,000,000 Money should know what is queued. In Blox Bulletin #024 (July 31, 2026), signed by owners rip_indra and mygame43, the team set the order: the biggest PvP balance patch yet, then previews and a trailer, then the summer's main release — an entirely rebuilt First Sea. The line that matters here: a new Magnet Fruit will "kick off a new wave of Fruits arriving later this year", after a year spent reworking existing fruits instead of adding any. That would make 42. No date was given and it is absent from the live game description as of August 27, 2026 — announced, not shipped.
