What Update 31.4 Changed
Update 31.4, "The Summer PvP Patch", went live on August 7, 2026. The developer published it as Balance Patch 001 on the Gamer Robot news blog on August 6, calling it "the largest balance patch we have ever shipped", with more than 100 changes across 39 targets.
For fruit users: Kitsune and Lightning were nerfed; Dough, Tiger, Yeti, Quake, Spider, Mammoth, Phoenix, Gas, Ghost, Eagle, Ice, Sand, Dark and Flame were buffed; Control, Diamond and Pain were adjusted. One system change touches every fruit here: Instinct dodge regeneration fell from 40 seconds to 30, so dodges return 25% faster.
S Tier
Strong in PvP and PvE with no crippling weakness. Prices are the Blox Fruit Dealer's, in Money (Beli) or Robux.
| Fruit | Rarity / Type | Price | Why it is here |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dragon | Mythical Beast | 15,000,000 / R$5,000 | Most expensive fruit in the game. Hybrid [X] now breaks Instinct, hitbox up 20%. Elite for PvE, Sea Events and Raids. |
| Dough | Mythical Elemental | 2,800,000 / R$2,400 | Buffed: awakened hitboxes up 15–25%, [C] stun up 40%, [V] hold 3s to 4s. Top PvP pick awakened, poor before. |
| Tiger | Mythical Beast | 5,000,000 / R$3,000 | 31.4's biggest winner, formerly Leopard: Blazing Form [V] heals 30% max health, [Z] damage up 30%, [X] speed up 50%. |
| Control | Mythical Natural | 9,000,000 / R$4,000 | Second most expensive; its Domain offers three combat modes. Adjusted, not gutted: outside-Domain cooldowns up 4s, Dagger [M1] damage up 350%. |
| Quake | Legendary Natural | 1,000,000 / R$1,500 | The cheap S-tier pick. Awakened [X] and [C] damage up 40%, [Z] end-lag down 70%. |
A Tier
One dominant activity or one clear drawback each. Several beat S Tier in their own lane.
| Fruit | Rarity / Type | Price | Why it is here |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kitsune | Mythical Beast | 8,000,000 / R$4,000 | Nerfed: [Z] tap no longer breaks Instinct, [X] channels on hit, [C] end-lag up 0.3s. Still an elite grinder — see our Kitsune guide. |
| Buddha | Legendary Beast | 1,200,000 / R$1,650 | Untouched by 31.4, still the grinding benchmark. Awakened it idles in the sea unharmed and extends sword [M1] range. |
| Yeti | Mythical Beast | 5,000,000 / R$3,000 | Buffed: transformed damage up 10%, [F] hitbox up 10%. No Fury Meter, low cooldowns; the wiki calls it easily abusable. |
| Spirit | Mythical Natural | 3,400,000 / R$2,550 | Formerly Soul. Sixth most expensive. Summons that attack, heal or grant speed, plus a long-stun [V]. Cooldowns punish spam. |
| Gas | Mythical Elemental | 3,200,000 / R$2,500 | Buffed: transformed [C] damage up 30%, charge down 30%. A top tank and anti-team fruit; brutal [M1] knockback untransformed. |
| Gravity | Mythical Natural | 2,500,000 / R$2,300 | Cheapest Mythical, with hitboxes that cover a whole First Sea island. Slow moves, weak air game. |
| Portal | Legendary Natural | 1,900,000 / R$2,000 | [F] teleports you to almost any island. A sword-main pick; its escapes dodge Lightning, Dough and Buddha stuns. |
| Spider | Legendary Natural | 1,500,000 / R$1,800 | Buffed hard: awakened [Z] damage up 50%, hitbox up 60%. Demanding to play and weak unawakened. |
| Venom | Mythical Natural | 3,000,000 / R$2,450 | The counter-pick: tick damage interrupts hold-to-charge fruits and it counters transformed Dragon. Needs 300 mastery. |
| Eagle | Uncommon Beast | 550,000 / R$975 | Best price-to-power in the game, buffed again: [C] wind-up down 45%, flight speed up 30%. |
B Tier
Solid through Third Sea, usually peaking once awakened.
| Fruit | Rarity / Type | Price | Notes (31.4 status in bold) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mammoth | Mythical Beast | 2,700,000 / R$2,350 | Buffed: damage and dash up 10%. Its 50% transformed damage reduction suits Sea Events. Poor combos. |
| T-Rex | Mythical Beast | 2,700,000 / R$2,350 | Heavy bleed and strong grinding at Mammoth's price, 7% less defence. Instinct-trickable, weak in air. |
| Shadow | Mythical Natural | 2,900,000 / R$2,425 | Life-leech burst, auto-aim [X], i-frames on [Z]. Single-target moves slow grinding. |
| Ice | Uncommon Elemental | 350,000 / R$750 | Buffed: awakened [X] now breaks Instinct, [C] speed up 60%, [V] usable in air. A top PvP stun fruit. |
| Sand | Uncommon Elemental | 420,000 / R$850 | Buffed: awakened [C] end-lag down 60%, [V] pull doubled. Weak unawakened; double water damage. |
| Dark | Uncommon Elemental | 500,000 / R$950 | Buffed: awakened [Z] no longer self-stuns, [X] now breaks Instinct. Cheap awakened PvP with teleport combos. |
| Flame | Uncommon Elemental | 250,000 / R$550 | Buffed: awakened [X] speed up 40%, [F] cooldown down 20%. The wiki's pick as best beginner fruit. |
| Ghost | Rare Natural | 940,000 / R$1,275 | Buffed: summoned ghosts now mirror sword abilities. Its Resurrection passive revives you at 50% health. |
| Phoenix | Legendary Beast | 1,800,000 / R$2,000 | Buffed: awakened [M1] damage up 20%, [X] energy cost down 40%. Heals you and nearby allies. |
| Magma | Rare Elemental | 960,000 / R$1,300 | High damage, low mastery, a top cheap grinder. Fully awakened it walks on water, flies and excels at Sea Events. |
| Blizzard | Legendary Elemental | 2,400,000 / R$2,250 | Versatile stuns and combos with an infinite-damage [F]. High mastery holds it back early. |
| Sound | Legendary Natural | 1,700,000 / R$1,900 | AoE on every move but [F], plus a Tempo Meter that buffs your team. Strong Raid support. |
| Lightning | Legendary Elemental | 2,100,000 / R$2,100 | Nerfed: [V] tap hitbox down 10%, charged [V] gain down 25%. Still versatile: stuns, AoE, near-teleport movement. |
C Tier
One real strength each, outclassed generally.
| Fruit | Rarity / Type | Price | Its one strength |
|---|---|---|---|
| Love | Legendary Natural | 1,300,000 / R$1,700 | Debuffs that cut enemy attack power, plus an ally-carrying hover. |
| Creation | Legendary Natural | 1,400,000 / R$1,750 | Formerly Barrier. Enormous hitboxes and long stuns, but easy to Instinct-trick. |
| Pain | Legendary Natural | 2,300,000 / R$2,200 | Adjusted: Last Stand now keeps you in combat, disables healing, and only a player kill ends it. |
| Light | Rare Elemental | 650,000 / R$1,100 | Fastest travel in the game and the best First Sea grinder until awakened Buddha. |
| Blade | Common Natural | 30,000 / R$100 | Formerly Chop, the biggest price-to-power outlier here: immunity to every sword attack, even through Aura. |
| Diamond | Uncommon Natural | 600,000 / R$1,000 | Adjusted: damage down 10%, [M1] no longer breaks Instinct, [C] gained a 1-second stun. |
| Rubber | Rare Natural | 750,000 / R$1,200 | Total immunity to guns, Lightning and Electric. Long-range [M1] grinding until Upper Skylands. |
D Tier
Six of the seven Common fruits. Fine for First Sea, replace before Second Sea.
| Fruit | Price | Verdict |
|---|---|---|
| Smoke | 100,000 / R$250 | Best of the cheap tier: Elemental, multiple stuns, infinite-damage [F]. |
| Rocket | 5,000 / R$50 | Cheapest fruit in the game. Explosive AoE and flight; usable in First Sea. |
| Bomb | 80,000 / R$220 | Good [C] and [V] AoE for grinding. Reworked into a nerf, then partly buffed back. |
| Spike | 180,000 / R$380 | Low mastery and multi-target moves make it a fine First Sea grinder. |
| Spring | 60,000 / R$180 | Decent mobility, little else. The wiki calls it one of the most disliked. |
| Spin | 7,500 / R$75 | Three attack moves, one ranged, almost no mobility. Widely regarded as the weakest. |
Mutations — The Class Most Tier Lists Miss
Mutations arrived in Update 28. They are not skins — they change a fruit's moveset as well as its look, and share no mastery with the base fruit. There are exactly three, all Beast-type and event-exclusive.
| Mutation | Base fruit | 31.4 status |
|---|---|---|
| Werewolf | Tiger | Buffed: 3% lifesteal passive in both forms; Blazing Form [C] damage up 20%. |
| Empyrean | Kitsune | Nerfed alongside Kitsune: [Z] hold damage down 30%, [Z] tap no longer breaks Instinct. |
| Fiend | Yeti | Buffed: all transformed damage up 17%, [C] end-lag down 60%. |
Neither Werewolf (2025 Halloween event) nor Empyrean (Fox Spirit Bundle) is obtainable now without Robux — our Robux guide covers the legitimate routes, and Blox Fruits codes the Money side.
Renamed and Removed Fruits
This is where most Blox Fruits tier lists go wrong, this one included. Renamed fruits keep their old names on the wiki's unavailable list, so searching one still returns results and a stale ranking looks verified.
| Old name | Current name | Old name | Current name |
|---|---|---|---|
| Leopard | Tiger | Barrier | Creation |
| Soul | Spirit | Paw | Pain |
| String | Spider | Chop | Blade |
| Door | Portal | Falcon | Eagle |
| Rumble | Lightning | Revive | Ghost |
Genuinely removed: Dragon (Classic) and the two Meme fruits (April Fools 2026 event and administrator-only).

How We Ranked and Verified This List
The roster comes from two sources that agree exactly: the live Roblox description for universe 994732206, which names all 41 fruits, and the Blox Fruits Wiki's list, which counts 41 across five rarities (7 Common, 6 Uncommon, 4 Rare, 11 Legendary, 13 Mythical). That wiki was edited within hours of this page going out.
Rarities, types and prices come from each fruit's wiki infobox. Balance changes come from the dev's own Balance Patch 001 post of August 6, 2026, not a third-party summary. Tier placements are our editorial judgement, weighing that patch against each fruit's documented strengths. We have not measured damage in-game and do not claim to — the game publishes no damage values, and earlier versions of this page invented them.
Blox Fruits in numbers, as of August 26, 2026: 333,724 concurrent players (7-day median, range 265,104–456,838 over 28 readings), 63.77 billion visits, 19.7 million favourites, level cap 2,800. Created 2019 by Gamer Robot Inc.

Frequently Asked Questions
After Update 31.4 (live August 7, 2026) we place Dragon, Dough, Tiger, Control and Quake in S Tier. Dragon is the most expensive fruit in the game at 15,000,000 Money or 5,000 Robux, and its Hybrid form was buffed in that patch. Quake is the value pick at 1,000,000 Money: the official wiki credits 31.4 with making it a very strong fruit.
No. Leopard was renamed Tiger and Soul was renamed Spirit, and both old names now sit on the Blox Fruits Wiki's unavailable list. The live Roblox game description names all 41 current fruits and neither appears. Any tier list still ranking a Leopard or a Soul is using retired names.
Yes. The developer's own balance log lists Kitsune under Nerfed: untransformed [Z] tap no longer breaks Instinct and is now Instinct-trickable, [X] channels on hit, and [C] gained 0.3 seconds of end-lag. Empyrean, Kitsune's mutation, was nerfed in the same patch.
