Dandy's World Update [Profiles 0.27.1] – Patch Notes & What's Next

Updated September 4, 2026 — Alpha 0.27.1 (Profiles) replaced Brusha as the current build; 0.26.1 to 0.26.3 rolled into the history list.

Dandy's World spent this patch on identity rather than combat. Alpha 0.27.1, the Profiles minor update, went live on September 4, 2026 and tripled the player count inside an hour.

What's new in Alpha 0.27.1

Four sources agree on the date: BlushCrunch republished the place at 18:53 UTC on September 4, 2026, the games/v1 stamp moved at 19:21 UTC, the studio's "Profiles!" event listing opened at 19:00 UTC and runs to September 11, and the wiki's changelog files it as "September 4th, 2026 — Profiles Minor Update (Version: Alpha 0.27.1)". No new badges were minted — the newest is still Extinguished Confidence from August 6 — so badges do not corroborate this one.

The description lists four changes under VERSION 0.27.1: a Profiles system in the Journal, a Daily Login Streak in Stats and the Journal, two premium Profile Bundles for Robux, and 11 Profile Prints in Dyle's Store for Ichor. The event listing adds that profiles are customised with stickers, skins, prints and stats, and that you can view other players' profiles.

Both bundles are real and on sale: Swimmy Barnaby and Rainbow, created September 3, on sale September 4 at 100 Robux each, granting one backdrop, one print and one frame apiece (Roblox game-pass API). They are the cheapest passes the game has sold — every earlier one was 199 or 200.

What we will not state: what the Daily Login Streak pays. The wiki's 0.27.1 entry still reads "New Customizable Profiles System" followed by TBA, and BlushCrunch has published no reward table. Any streak numbers elsewhere today are guesses.

What this means for players

Most of the new customisation is free: 11 Profile Prints sit in Dyle's Store priced in Ichor, and only the two bundles cost Robux. Nothing here touches a run. The release moved the needle hard. Six-hourly samples put the game at 30,688 concurrent at 13:30 UTC on release day and 87,212 at 19:30, nine minutes after the republish — close to a tripling. That is a launch spike, not a baseline: by 22:30 it was back to roughly 63,000.

New codes with this update

No, Alpha 0.27.1 did not ship a code. The description lists none, the event listing lists none, and the wiki's Codes page still shows one active entry: ICHOR, 50 Ichor, expiry "Never". Update history

• August 21, 2026 — Alpha 0.26.3: Closed Brusha's Week, pulling all her Toon of the Week content from sale — the game-pass API confirms it, with Messy Canvas now off sale and returning no price. Also fixed stuck spots on Artist Room floors.
• Alpha 0.26.2 (undated): Sweet Charm now works on Brusha's ability cooldown; her painting minigame no longer runs on a timer. The wiki gives no date, so neither do we.
• August 14, 2026 — Brusha's Week (Alpha 0.26.1): Toon of the Week #4. Artistic Inspiration became a machine-painting minigame granting 25% faster extraction and a 15% better Skill Check chance on a 15-second cooldown; Twisted Brusha got her first ability; Paint Bucket went 5% to 10%; three quests and two skins.
• August 7, 2026 — Waxwell (Alpha 0.25.1): Added Waxwell, whose ability clears Tired II for 10 seconds and lays a trail granting the Ignited buff on a 60-second cooldown, plus Twisted Waxwell and the Cherished Blanket trinket.
• Gaps we are not filling: the wiki logs 0.25.2–0.25.4 as one undated TBA block and logs nothing between 0.26.3 and 0.27.1. There is no 0.26.0 and no 0.27.0 on record. We flag the holes rather than invent contents.

What's next for Dandy's World?

One thing is genuinely on the calendar. BlushCrunch's events endpoint now lists Toon of the Week #5, running September 18 to September 25, 2026 (19:00 UTC each end), promising "gameplay changes, quests, rewards, Twisted adjustments, and more". It does not name the Toon — so ignore anyone who does. The current "Profiles!" listing runs until September 11.

Toon of the Week is not weekly. The wiki dates them Sprout, May 1; Finn, June 12; Tisha, July 24; Brusha, August 14; then #5 on September 18 — six weeks, six, three, then five. Each run so far shipped a single-Toon skin pass that went off sale when the window shut, so buy inside the week or not at all.

The numbers, read September 4, 2026: 7,381,393,653 visits, 4,599,124 favourites, 86.6% likes (1,670,917 up, 259,503 down). On players, the honest pre-patch figure is a median of 25,731 concurrent across 27 six-hourly samples from August 28 to September 4, range 14,771–41,728 — split at the release rather than blending the spike in. Track it on the hub.
