Drag Drive Simulator just dropped its biggest update yet with BETA V1.1.3, rolling out between March 24 and 25, 2026. The patch brings a massive new map expansion in Makassar City's Pettarani Track, a Gear Ratio Tuning system that changes how you build every vehicle, 6 limited special vehicles, a batch of new cars and motorcycles, dual race modes, and festive Eid Mubarak decorations across the map. Here's the full breakdown.
V1.1.3 is labeled a "Limited x Big Update" for good reason. The patch touches nearly every part of the game, from map size to vehicle customization to competitive racing. Let's go through each major addition.
The Pettarani Track is the centerpiece of this update. It's a full map expansion set in Makassar City, one of the largest cities in eastern Indonesia. The track is designed for both circuit-style racing and straight-line sprints, which ties directly into the two new race modes.
Unlike the existing Sentul Track, which serves as the primary competitive hub for Time Trials and Tournaments, Pettarani offers a more open layout with wider roads and longer straightaways. It's clearly built with the new Drag Race system in mind, giving players a proper venue for high-speed runs without the tight corners of Sentul.
The surrounding Makassar City area also includes new free roam zones, crate spawn locations, and NPC interactions. If you've been spending all your time at Sentul or Surakarta City, this gives you a solid reason to explore somewhere new.
This is the feature that gearheads have been waiting for. Gear Ratio Tuning is a new modification system that lets you adjust individual gear ratios on your vehicles. The concept is straightforward but the impact on performance is massive.
Shorter gear ratios give you faster acceleration off the line but cap your top speed lower. Longer gear ratios do the opposite: slower launches but higher terminal velocity. The sweet spot depends entirely on what you're racing and where.
| Gear Ratio Setting | Acceleration | Top Speed | Best For |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short Ratios | Fast launch | Lower ceiling | Drag Race sprints |
| Balanced Ratios | Moderate | Moderate | Road Race circuits |
| Long Ratios | Slow launch | Higher ceiling | Top speed runs |
V1.1.3 introduces 6 limited special vehicles that won't be around forever. These are time-exclusive additions, meaning once the limited window closes, they're gone from the shop. The update also added several new standard cars and motorcycles to the permanent roster.
Among the featured vehicles spotted in the update are models like the Kawasaki ZX25R, Kawasaki ZX10R, PCX 160, RX KING, and the Aerox All New Limited. The motorcycle selection is notably stronger this time around, which tracks with the game's Indonesian automotive roots.
The new Road Race and Drag Race systems at Pettarani give the game two distinct competitive formats.
Road Race is a circuit-based format. You're racing through turns, managing braking points, and trying to maintain speed through corners. It rewards cars with balanced gear ratios and good handling characteristics.
Drag Race is pure straight-line speed. Line up, launch, and whoever hits the end first wins. This mode rewards aggressive short-ratio tuning and vehicles with high power-to-weight ratios. There are two sub-modes within Drag Race: Time Trial Drag Race for solo tune testing and Tournament Drag Race which runs competitive matches in automatic cycles.
In keeping with the season, the entire map has been decorated with Eid Mubarak themed elements. Festive banners, lights, and decorative pieces are scattered across Pettarani, Sentul, and Surakarta City. It's a nice cosmetic touch that gives the game world a celebratory atmosphere.
Beyond the headline features, V1.1.3 also includes new limited accessories, several new helmets for character customization, updated revving animations for all vehicles, a revamped speedometer UI, and various bug fixes and performance improvements.
Gear Ratio Tuning is the biggest gameplay shift here. Before V1.1.3, vehicle performance was mostly determined by which car you owned and what basic mods you applied. Now, two players with the exact same vehicle can perform very differently depending on their tune.
This creates a real skill gap between casual players and those who take the time to optimize. If you're into competitive racing, you now need to maintain at least two tuning profiles: one optimized for Drag Race launches and another balanced for Road Race circuits.
The addition of Pettarani Track also splits the player base across more locations. Before this update, Sentul Track was the default gathering point for competitive racers. Now there's a genuine choice between venues, and the Pettarani Drag Race strip is arguably the better testing ground for pure speed builds.
The 6 limited vehicles add urgency for collectors. If you're the type who wants every vehicle in the garage, you need to log in and purchase before they rotate out. Limited vehicles in Drag Drive Simulator tend to hold their perceived value among the community, so missing them stings.
V1.1.3 came with 5 new redeem codes, and several older codes are still active. Here's the full list of working codes as of March 29, 2026.

Start with the default balanced ratio and make small adjustments. Going too aggressive with short ratios will tank your top speed, and overly long ratios will leave you spinning wheels off the line. Aim for a ratio that gets you to peak torque quickly without sacrificing more than 10-15% of your maximum speed.
For Drag Race specifically, test your launch in Time Trial mode before entering Tournament. You want to find the shortest ratio that still lets you reach competitive top speeds by the end of the strip. Every vehicle has a different sweet spot based on its power curve.
The Road Race circuit at Pettarani has wider roads than Sentul, which makes overtaking easier but also means you can't rely on blocking as heavily. Focus on clean racing lines through the corners and use the long straightaways to build speed rather than drafting behind other players.
Crate spawns in the Makassar City free roam area follow a new pattern. Check the areas near the Pettarani Track entrance and the side streets branching off the main boulevard. Early reports suggest crate density is higher here than in Surakarta City.
If you can only afford one or two limited vehicles, prioritize based on your race mode preference. The motorcycle-class limiteds tend to perform better in Road Race due to their agility, while the car-class limiteds generally have higher top speeds for Drag Race.
The response to V1.1.3 has been strongly positive across the Drag Drive Simulator community. The Gear Ratio Tuning system is getting the most praise, with players calling it the deepest customization feature the game has added since launch. The tuning community that was already active with basic modifications now has a genuine performance optimization layer to experiment with.
The Pettarani Track expansion also landed well. Players appreciate the larger map size and the distinction between Sentul's tighter technical layout and Pettarani's speed-focused design. Having two tracks with different characteristics keeps the racing fresh and gives different vehicle builds a chance to shine.
The Eid Mubarak decorations received warm feedback, especially from the game's large Indonesian player base. It's a small detail, but it reflects the developers' connection to their community.
Some players have noted that the 6 limited vehicles feel rushed in terms of availability window. The concern is that newer players won't have enough RP saved to grab them before they disappear. The Pettarani Track is a new map expansion set in Makassar City, introduced in the V1.1.3 update. It features both a Road Race circuit and a Drag Race strip, giving players two competitive race modes in a single location.
Gear Ratio Tuning lets you adjust each gear's ratio on your vehicle. Shorter ratios give faster acceleration but lower top speed, while longer ratios provide slower launches but higher top speed. You can tune in free roam and validate your setup at Sentul Track.
The V1.1.3 update introduced 6 limited special vehicles alongside several new standard cars and motorcycles. Limited vehicles are only available for a short time, so grab them before they rotate out.
