Flee the Facility just went full summer. The Summer 2026 Event went live around July 23, 2026 (the official change log is dated 07/22/26) and reskins the whole hangout side of the game — a new summer Lobby and Trading Post, new music, fresh limited-time bundles, and new hammers. What's new in the Summer 2026 Event
The centerpiece is a fully redecorated hangout. Per the official DevForum change log dated 07/22/26, the update ships a summer-themed Lobby and Trading Post, each with a new soundtrack that only plays during the event. Alongside it are new limited-time Summer 2026 collection bundles, headlined by the Bubbly Bubbles Bundle, which introduces a brand-new attachment style you can't get anywhere else.
Cosmetics got the most attention. The event adds new summer hammers — community trackers like BrainrotGames highlight a new jellyfish skin among them — and it corrects the Pearl Piercer hammer. Quality-of-life landed too: a new top-bar UI now shows your Beast and Survivor status with icons, the Shop UI shows a countdown to the event end date, and the trading window gained item search and filter, which is a big deal once your inventory fills with limiteds.
The maps saw targeted work rather than a new arena: the Shopping Center got custom ambience, the Homestead map's locker was modified, and Ghost Town had its ambience adjusted. The limited-time Backrooms map was removed.
