Grow Beanstalk For Brainrots has 74 brainrots spread across 9 rarity tiers, and not all of them are worth your base slots. We spent hours grinding every cloud layer, testing cash-per-second rates, and experimenting with all 5 mutations to build this definitive tier list for April 2026.
The core gameplay loop is straightforward: grow a giant beanstalk, climb to higher clouds, capture brainrots, and place them in your base for passive cash generation. But choosing the right brainrots to keep — and which to sell — makes a massive difference in how fast you progress.
Our rankings are based on three factors: raw cash per second at Level 1, rarity and spawn difficulty, and how well each brainrot pairs with the game's 5 mutation types. If you're looking for the short version, Classified and Divine brainrots dominate, and everything below Exotic is basically fodder.
These are the absolute best brainrots in the game. If you own any of them, they should never leave your base. Each one generates insane passive income, and with the right mutation applied, they'll carry your entire account.
Strawberry Elephant is one of only 2 Classified brainrots in the entire game. It generates a staggering 5,000,000 Cash per second at Level 1 — no upgrades, no mutations, just raw income straight out of the box.
It spawns exclusively on the highest cloud layer, which means you'll need a fully upgraded beanstalk to even reach it. In our testing, we climbed for roughly 45 minutes before we hit the right altitude. The spawn rate is painfully low, so expect to server-hop extensively.
When you do land one, apply a mutation immediately. Even a basic mutation multiplies that 5M/s base rate into something absurd. This is the endgame king, full stop.
Meowl is the other Classified brainrot, and it matches Strawberry Elephant's 5,000,000 Cash per second at Level 1. The two are functionally identical in terms of earning power.
Where Meowl differs is its spawn behavior. It's an extremely rare spawn that doesn't follow predictable cloud-layer patterns. We encountered it twice across roughly 30 hours of gameplay. Some players report finding it more often during peak server times, though we couldn't confirm that pattern.
If you're forced to choose between hunting Meowl and grinding beanstalk upgrades, focus on the beanstalk first. You'll eventually stumble into Meowl, but you won't reach Strawberry Elephant's cloud without maxed Climb Speed.
Stoppo Luminino spawns on the Divine cloud layer and sits right below Classified in terms of raw earnings. It's one of the strongest Divine-tier brainrots, and in our experience, it's the most consistent endgame pick for players who haven't found a Classified yet.
The Divine cloud layer itself is brutal to reach. You'll need significant beanstalk growth and a high Climb Speed stat. But once you're there, Stoppo Luminino's spawn rate is more forgiving than its Divine counterparts.
Pair this one with a mutation from an Admin Abuse event, and it'll outperform most unmutated S-tier picks. We kept 3 mutated copies in our base during testing and the cash flow was ridiculous.
Cactus Pingu is another Divine cloud spawn with excellent passive income. Its cash-per-second rate sits just a hair below Stoppo Luminino, but the difference is negligible in practice.
What makes Cactus Pingu stand out is its mutation compatibility. In our testing, it responded well to all 5 mutation types, giving you flexibility depending on which weather events are active. That versatility earns it a firm S-tier placement.
Cappuccino Clownino rounds out the Divine trio. It's the third Divine brainrot, and while its base stats are slightly below Cactus Pingu, it's still miles ahead of anything in A tier.
We found it spawning slightly more frequently than the other two Divine brainrots. If you're grinding the Divine cloud layer, Cappuccino Clownino is likely the first one you'll capture. Don't underestimate it — a mutated Cappuccino Clownino is still an S-tier earner.
A-tier brainrots are your backbone during the mid-to-late game transition. They generate strong passive income and are significantly easier to find than anything in S tier. If you haven't reached the Divine cloud yet, these are your bread and butter.
Los Crocodillitos comes from the Secret cloud area and brings high cash generation to the table. It's the top performer among Secret-rarity brainrots, and we used it as our primary earner for a solid 8 hours before finding our first Divine spawn.
The Secret cloud area unlocks after significant beanstalk growth — not as extreme as Divine, but still a meaningful grind. In our experience, Los Crocodillitos spawns roughly once every 10-15 minutes on an active server.
Pot Hotspot is another Secret cloud brainrot with strong earnings. Its cash-per-second rate is close to Los Crocodillitos, making it a reliable A-tier pick.
We noticed Pot Hotspot has slightly better mutation multipliers than Los Crocodillitos for 2 of the 5 mutation types. If you happen to catch a rain event while holding Pot Hotspot, it's worth mutating on the spot. The boosted sale value alone is worth the effort, even if you plan to replace it later.
Los Pine Bros offers solid income generation at Secret rarity. It won't blow you away compared to the two above, but it's a dependable earner that fills base slots well during the mid-game push.
We found Los Pine Bros spawns more consistently than other Secret brainrots. If you're farming the Secret cloud layer, you'll likely accumulate several copies quickly. Keep the best-mutated one and sell the rest for beanstalk upgrade cash.
Capi Taco rounds out the Secret-tier A-rank picks. It has good cash per second and reliable spawns. It's the weakest A-tier entry, but it still outperforms everything in B tier by a comfortable margin.
If you're sitting on multiple Capi Tacos without mutations, sell all but one. The cash from selling 3-4 copies is usually enough to fund a meaningful beanstalk upgrade.
B-tier brainrots are your mid-game workhorses. They won't carry you to endgame, but they'll keep the cash flowing while you grind toward higher cloud layers. Most Exotic and some Mythic brainrots land here.
The Exotic-tier brainrots form the core of B tier. There are several across the Exotic cloud layer, and they generate decent mid-game income. In our testing, a full base of Exotic brainrots produced roughly 15-20x more cash per second than a base full of Legendaries.
Exotic brainrots are also where mutations start to feel impactful. A mutated Exotic can approach lower A-tier earnings, making the rain-event grind actually worthwhile at this stage. Hold your best Exotic brainrot under rain whenever a matching weather event pops up.
A handful of Mythic brainrots sit at the top of B tier. These are the ones with above-average cash-per-second rates for their rarity. They won't hold base slots for long once you reach Exotic territory, but they're solid stepping stones.
Mythic brainrots have lower mutation multipliers than Exotic ones. We tested all 5 mutations on several Mythic copies, and the boost was noticeable but not transformative. Mutate them if the opportunity arises, but don't go hunting for weather events specifically for Mythic brainrots.
C-tier brainrots are the ones you'll encounter first and replace fastest. They're useful in the opening minutes of a fresh save, but their cash generation falls off a cliff once you reach higher clouds.
Legendary brainrots sound impressive, but they're actually middle-of-the-pack in a game with 9 rarity tiers. Their cash per second is functional for the first 30-60 minutes of gameplay. After that, they're dead weight in your base.
Sell Legendary brainrots once you've captured your first Mythic or Exotic. The cash from selling a few Legendaries can fund a meaningful Climb Speed upgrade, which gets you to better brainrots faster.
Rare brainrots generate minimal passive cash. They exist mostly as early-game filler. We recommend selling them immediately after capture — the lump-sum cash from a sale is more valuable than what they'd generate sitting in your base for hours.
Common brainrots are everywhere on the lowest cloud layers. Their cash per second is nearly zero. Sell every single Common brainrot you capture. Don't bother placing them in your base, don't bother mutating them, just sell and reinvest.
In our testing, selling 10 Common brainrots gave us enough cash for one early beanstalk growth upgrade. That one upgrade got us to the Rare cloud layer 40% faster. Always sell Commons.
| Tier | Brainrot | Rarity | Cash/Sec (Lv 1) |
|---|---|---|---|
| S | Strawberry Elephant | Classified | 5,000,000 |
| S | Meowl | Classified | 5,000,000 |

| S | Cactus Pingu | Divine | Very High |
| S | Cappuccino Clownino | Divine | Very High |
| A | Los Crocodillitos | Secret | High |
| A | Pot Hotspot | Secret | High |
| A | Los Pine Bros | Secret | High |

Keep in mind that mutations can shift individual brainrots up by roughly half a tier. A perfectly mutated A-tier brainrot can compete with an unmutated low S-tier pick. Always factor mutations into your base lineup decisions.
Our ranking methodology focused on three core metrics that matter most for progression in Grow Beanstalk For Brainrots.
The single most important stat. We recorded each brainrot's Level 1 cash-per-second rate directly from gameplay. No wiki numbers, no datamining — just observed values from placing brainrots in our base and timing the cash ticks over 60-second intervals.
Classified brainrots generate 5,000,000 Cash/s at Level 1, which is roughly 250x higher than the best Legendary brainrots. The gap between tiers is enormous.
Rarity directly correlates with earning power, but it also affects how realistic it is to actually obtain a brainrot. We factored in spawn rates, cloud-layer requirements, and beanstalk growth needed to reach each tier.
The 9 rarities in order from weakest to strongest: Common, Rare, Legendary, Mythic, Exotic, Secret, Divine, Exclusive, and Classified. Exclusive breaks the pattern slightly since it's only available through the Robux Shop.
There are 5 mutations currently in the game, and each one multiplies both the earning rate and sale value of a brainrot. Each brainrot can hold exactly one mutation, and you apply it by holding the brainrot under rain during a matching weather event.
Some mutations are only available through Admin Abuse events, making them rarer and more valuable. We tested all 5 mutations on representatives from each tier and found that higher-rarity brainrots tend to receive larger percentage boosts from mutations. That's why S-tier brainrots are even further ahead when mutated.

Strawberry Elephant and Meowl are tied for the best brainrot. Both are Classified rarity and generate 5,000,000 Cash per second at Level 1, making them the strongest earners in the game. The three Divine brainrots (Stoppo Luminino, Cactus Pingu, and Cappuccino Clownino) round out the top 5.
There are currently 74 brainrots in the game, spread across 9 rarity tiers: Common, Rare, Legendary, Mythic, Exotic, Secret, Divine, Exclusive, and Classified. New brainrots are added with major game updates.
There are 5 mutations in the game. Mutations multiply both earning rate and sale value. Each brainrot can only hold one mutation at a time. You apply mutations by holding a brainrot under rain during a matching weather event. Some mutations are only available through Admin Abuse events, making them rarer.
Exclusive brainrots are a special rarity tier that can only be obtained from the OP Lucky Block and Rainbow Pack in the Robux Shop. They can't be found on any cloud layer through normal gameplay. Their power level varies, typically falling between B tier and A tier depending on which one you pull.
Yes, absolutely. Common and Rare brainrots generate almost no passive cash. You're better off selling them immediately and using that cash to upgrade your beanstalk, Carry capacity, and Climb Speed. In our testing, selling 10 Commons funded one early beanstalk upgrade that cut cloud-climbing time by 40%.
