Updated August 16, 2026 — Rolled August 15 into the current-update slot and moved August 8 into history.
· August 16 — August 15 "LAG FIX + ADMIN ABUSE" logged as current; August 22 event re-confirmed
· August 16 — re-verified 28,781 players and 95.46M visits via the games API
· August 9 — page published with August 8 as the then-current build

Mine a Mountain's current build is the August 15, 2026 update, which Roblox's own event listing titled LAG FIX + ADMIN ABUSE. It replaces the August 8 drop, now in the dated history below.

The current update: August 15, 2026

The drop ran Saturday, August 15, 2026, 14:00–15:00 UTC. Roblox's scheduled-event entry titled it NEXT UPDATE with the subtitle LAG FIX + ADMIN ABUSE, hosted by the verified 10K Steps group.

That subtitle is the only first-party description that exists: a lag fix plus an Admin Abuse run. No itemised notes were published, and the developer-backed wiki's changelog was last edited August 3, 2026, so it does not cover August 15. Eldorado.gg listed the same window and name independently — so the drop is confirmed, its contents thin. We did not verify it in-game.

The radar's 7-day peak, 41,016 players, hit 13:30 UTC on August 15, 2026 — right before the window. As of August 16, 2026: 95,459,367 visits, 224,692 favourites, 97.1% rating (346,374 to 10,474). Our guide covers upgrade order; the hub keeps live numbers.

Admin Abuse recurs each update

Correcting what this log implied before: the wiki describes Admin Abuse as an event run alongside each update release, on all servers — and the Roblox feed agrees, attaching it to the August 1, 8 and 15 drops. Reported effects (admin nukes, meteor showers, Luck boosts, bigger backpack, no fall damage) are single-source, unconfirmed in-game as of August 16, 2026.

Mine a Mountain update history

Wiki changelog = the developer-backed Fandom record. Event data only = confirmed date, no notes.

Five straight Saturdays, July 18 to August 15, 2026, mostly at 14:00 UTC; earlier drops were Fridays.

What's next: Saturday, August 22

Confirmed and dated. Re-pulled from the Roblox virtual-events API on August 16, 2026, the only scheduled event is "NEXT WEEK'S UPDATE": Saturday, August 22, 2026, 14:00–15:00 UTC, hosted by the verified 10K Steps group, category New content.

Its subtitle is literally "???", so there is nothing honest to say about its contents. Watch the Events tab and the official 10K Steps Discord (27,469 members, August 16, 2026), the invite the wiki names as official. The similar-sounding discord.gg/mineamountain (14,077 members, same date) is a repurposed 2021 guild no creator-owned surface links to. No official X account exists.

Did this update add codes?

No — still no code system, and our codes page re-checks after every drop. Mining games that do have codes: 1 Dig Per Step, Dig It. Head-to-heads: vs Mining Simulator 2, vs Drill to Earth's Core.
