What Is Steal a Brainrot?

You buy Brainrot characters off a moving Red Carpet, park them in base slots where they generate cash per second, and rob other players for theirs. The fact most guides skip: the Roblox API reports maxPlayers of 8, so at most seven people can ever be robbing you. The wiki documents 499 indexable Brainrots across eight rarity tiers — Common, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythic, Brainrot God, Secret and OG.

The Roblox API returned 175,838 players in-game at roughly 09:00 UTC on August 22, 2026, against 72,851,963,856 lifetime visits, 29,104,548 favourites and a 15,355,223-to-2,643,960 like ratio. One snapshot misleads: across 26 radar samples in the seven days to August 22 the count ran 130,999 to 274,256, median near 212,000. Update 62's launch spiked it far higher — Rolimon's logs a 7-day peak of 2,107,033 — and the all-time record is 25,836,222 on October 11, 2025, not any 2026 date. It is published by the group BRAZILIAN SPYDER (38.9M members), owned by SpyderSammy, who ships a numbered update most Saturdays.

Your First Hour

1. Get Brainrots into your base immediately — one sitting in your inventory earns nothing, and once it enters the base it can no longer gain a mutation.
2. Buy the Speed Coil ($750). It lifts walk speed from 34 to 51. Escaping beats fighting at this stage.
3. Buy Traps ($1,000 each). One freezes a thief for 7 seconds, and you may have five in existence at once across map and inventory combined.
4. Lock your base whenever you step away. The lock runs 60 seconds by default, and every rebirth adds 10 more.
5. Don't raid until you have a couple of rebirths. The Bat you spawn with returns a stolen Brainrot to its slot, but the $500 Slap outranges it.

Mutations: The Multiplier Table That Decides Everything

Income is (base value × mutation multiplier) + each trait multiplier — mutations multiply, traits add on top. The wiki's worked example: Ventoliero Pavonero earns $65M/s plain, $715M/s with Cyber (11×), and $1.365B/s with Cyber plus the Fire and Nyan traits (5× each) for a 21× total. That is why a mutated mid-tier beats a plain high-tier. Multipliers below are the wiki's as of August 22, 2026; note how few are still on a live rotation.

Two myths worth killing: Gold and Diamond are weak — 1.25× and 1.5×, not the "3–4×" tier lists claim — and there is no grindable "Taco" or "Galactic" trait machine.

Which Brainrots Are Worth Chasing

Everything named here has a community wiki page; this game's fan ecosystem invents names constantly, so treat anything without one as fictional. Checked August 22, 2026.

• La Grande Combinasion — Secret, $1B, $10M/s, and the Rebirth 19 requirement. The most in-demand Brainrot in the game.
• Graipuss Medussi — Secret, $250M, $1M/s. The Rebirth 18 requirement.
• La Vacca Saturno Saturnita — Secret, $325K/s, the one the live code spawns onto the Red Carpet; you still pay its $80M price.
• Dragon Cannelloni — $250M/s, the best the RNG Machine can roll, ahead of La Breakfast Combinasion ($165M/s) and Update 62's La Fuse Machine ($95M/s).

Defending Your Base

There are no walls, barriers or per-room locks in Steal a Brainrot, whatever older guides say. The base is a fixed multi-floor building with slots; defence is the lock timer plus placed gear. The lock runs 60 seconds, each rebirth adds +10, and VIP adds a fixed +10. At Rebirth 19 with VIP that is 260 seconds sealed — over four minutes of AFK cover, and the real reason experienced players buy VIP.

• Trap — $1,000, no rebirth needed. Freezes a thief 7 seconds; five maximum. Cheapest defence in the game by a distance.
• All-Seeing Sentry — $5M at Rebirth 7. Arms in 5 seconds, then auto-fires for up to a minute, through walls and at invisible players.
• Beehive — $300M at Rebirth 13. Lasts 60 seconds, cannot be destroyed, inverts nearby players' controls.
• Subspace Mine — $500M at Rebirth 14. Turns invisible and ragdolls anyone who touches it for 9 seconds. Two maximum.
• Attack Doge — $1B at Rebirth 16. Chases intruders and ragdolls on contact; lasts 11 seconds.
• Grief Shield — the Rebirth 19 unlock from Update 62. Absorbs one griefer hit before shattering, though not from the player you are stealing from.

How to Steal Without Getting Caught

Stealing is loud and slow by design. The instant you lift someone's Brainrot they get a named alert and an alarm ("Someone is stealing your Graipuss Medussi"), colour-coded by rarity. You also take a hard carrying penalty: no gear can be used at all, walk speed drops 34 to 20 (about −41%) and jump height 7.2 to 4.32 (−40%).

1. Scout the outside first. Find the best slots and look for the mutation glow.
2. Clear the exit while you can still hold gear. Boogie Bomb ($500K, Rebirth 4) makes everyone in the blast drop held Brainrots and dance for 10 seconds; Medusa's Head ($5M, Rebirth 5) petrifies for 3 seconds.
3. Use the Body Swap Potion — $50M at Rebirth 10, 30-second cooldown. It swaps your position with the target and forces them to drop whatever Brainrot they were holding. Older guides call it "Body Swapper"; that is not its name.
4. Run the Invisibility Cloak ($300K, Rebirth 4) on the way in — it doubles speed to 68 while invisible and stays on until unequipped.
5. Grab one thing and leave. With a 41% speed cut and no gear, a second grab is how you lose the first.

Steal a Brainrot Codes — the Honest Answer

Codes exist but are not a cash faucet. They only arrived on December 13, 2025, and the one still working is a spawn code: it drops a Secret Brainrot onto the Red Carpet for the whole server, and you still buy it with in-game cash — $80M — before someone beats you to it. Most of the archive is limited-stock codes where only the first few hundred redeemers get the item.

Game Passes & the Robux Shop

Roblox's game-pass API returned exactly three passes on August 22, 2026, all listed for sale and all last edited July 18, 2026. There are no others.

What Is Actually Live Right Now

Machines rotate: Sammy adds one, it owns the meta for weeks, then it is retired — and chasing a retired machine is how a stale guide wastes your afternoon. As of August 22, 2026 the wiki's machine table marks exactly one as in-game.

• RNG Machine — live. Added in Update 61 on August 8, 2026. Pay cash to roll, then choose whether to buy the result. It upgrades for speed, luck and mutation; its top tier needs MAX rebirth. The only published odds are the luck multipliers: 2× is 1 in 10, 4× 1 in 100, 6× 1 in 1,000, 8× 1 in 10,000. Per-Brainrot odds have never been published, so any site quoting one invented it.
• Summer Fuse, Trade Machine, Craft Machine, Brainrot Trader and Los Traders are all retired — the wiki marks every one "No". Rainbow and Bubblegum Machines remain but only fire when Sammy activates them.
• Update 62 ("REBIRTH 19"), live since 19:00 UTC on August 15, 2026, is still the current build: the 28th base slot, the Grief Shield, two Secrets into the RNG pool, and no more Lucky Block timers. The wiki schedules Update 63 for August 22, 2026, contents TBA; the place was republished at 07:10 UTC that morning, but nothing corroborates a shipped patch yet, so we are not describing one. Rebirths and base slots

Slots are earned, never bought: every rebirth from the second onward adds one slot plus ten seconds of lock time, and Update 62 raised the ceiling from 27 to 28. Rebirth 19 costs $30Qa plus one La Grande Combinasion and returns a 19× multiplier, $250T, the slot and the Grief Shield. Rebirth 18 wants $10Qa plus a Graipuss Medussi for 18× and $100T.

How to Earn Free Robux for Steal a Brainrot

VIP at 375 Robux is the one worth earning toward: +10 seconds of base lock is a permanent upgrade nothing else sells. Neither pass is required — the loop works identically for free players, and the biggest multipliers cannot be bought at all.
