This is our living patch-notes page for Steal a Brainrot. The newest update sits at the top; everything before it drops into the dated history further down. The current build as of August 16, 2026 is Update 62, "REBIRTH 19."
Current update: Update 62 — REBIRTH 19 (August 15, 2026)
Update 62 went live on August 15, 2026 and peaked at roughly 2.1 million concurrent players that day. Everything below comes from SpyderSammy's own event listing and the wiki's Update 62 patch page.
- Rebirth 19 unlocked. It costs $30Qa and requires a La Grande Combinasion. In return you get an x19 income multiplier, a $250T cash bonus, ten extra seconds of base-lock time, one more base slot, and the Grief Guard item.
- Bases go from 27 to 28 slots. For anyone who is nowhere near Rebirth 19, this is the change that actually matters — one more income slot for everybody.
- Grief Shield. New gear that absorbs a single hit from a griefer and then shatters. Read the exception carefully: it does not protect you from the player you just stole from.
- Two new RNG Machine brainrots — Candini Fluffini and La Fuse Machine. Sammy also folded lower-tier ritual brainrots into the same machine's pool.
- RNG Machine luck is now active only during Admin Abuse, and is explicitly not purchasable.
- Lucky Block timers removed from every Lucky Block type.
What's next for Steal a Brainrot?
Sammy has shipped a numbered update almost every Saturday for months: Update 58 on July 18, 59 on July 25, 60 on August 1, 61 on August 8 and 62 on August 15, 2026. On that cadence, Update 63 is due Saturday, August 22, 2026.
Its contents are not known. As of our August 16, 2026 check, the Roblox virtual-events feed for this universe carries only the REBIRTH 19 listing, which runs to August 17. We will not print brainrot names for an unannounced patch — if you see a site doing that this week, it made them up. This section gets replaced the moment a real event listing appears.

The June 27 Futbol update tied the game to live 2026 World Cup fixtures: when a real team scored, a short celebration window fired in-game and brainrots spawning inside it picked up that country's trait. That window closed long ago; those brainrots are legacy items now.
Did Update 62 add new codes?
No. Update 62 shipped without a new code. Exactly one code was working as of August 16, 2026, and it is a spawn code — it puts a Secret brainrot on the Red Carpet for the whole server rather than dropping anything into your base, and you still have to pay for it. The redeem box itself also moved out of the Shop menu on June 13, 2026 and now has its own CODES button on the left-hand button stack.
