World Fighters Tier List (2026) — Best Units Ranked

World Fighters has over 50 collectible units spread across 7 rarity tiers, and picking the wrong ones to invest in will cost you hours of grinding. This tier list ranks every unit worth using as of May 2026, from the S-tier carries that dominate endgame to the C-tier fillers you should replace as soon as possible.

The rankings below factor in raw damage output, power multipliers, availability, and how each unit performs after awakening. We've tested these in the latest build following Update 1 PT.2 (April 29, 2026), which added the Cursed Bridge zone, 3 Global Bosses, and the Cursed Spirits Gacha. S Tier — Best Units in World Fighters

These are the units that define the meta right now. Every serious player should be working toward at least one S-tier fighter. They outperform everything else in raw damage, scaling, or both — and the gap between S tier and A tier is significant.

Diablo

Diablo is the best free-to-play unit in World Fighters, and it's not particularly close. You obtain him through the Wanted system in Slime World, which means any player can farm for him without touching the Gacha. His damage scaling is the highest of any non-Secret unit in the game.

What makes Diablo special is how well he performs at every stage of progression. Early game, he carries through content that would otherwise require a full team. Late game, his damage spike keeps him competitive even against Secret-rarity units. If you're free-to-play, Diablo is your number one priority.

After awakening, Diablo's 2x permanent damage multiplier pushes him into territory that most Legendary and Mythical units can't reach. He's the benchmark every other farmable unit gets measured against.

Whis

Whis sits at the absolute top of World Fighters' power ceiling. As a Secret Gacha unit, he comes with a 5x power multiplier — the highest single multiplier attached to any unit in the game. That number alone would justify his placement here.

The catch is obvious: pulling Whis from the Secret Gacha requires extreme luck or significant investment. The drop rate for Secret-rarity units is brutal, and there's no pity system as of May 2026. But if you do land him, nothing else in your roster comes close to his output. He trivializes Global Bosses and makes the Cursed Bridge zone feel like early-game content.

Secret Dragon

Secret Dragon is another Secret Gacha pull, and he's the second-best Gacha unit behind Whis. His kit includes a 4x power multiplier plus a flat +5 damage bonus on every hit. That combination of percentage scaling and flat damage makes him a cornerstone unit for endgame team compositions.

Where Secret Dragon edges out other high-rarity units is consistency. His damage floor is extremely high thanks to the +5 flat bonus, which means even on bad RNG swings during boss fights, he's still putting out respectable numbers. Pair him with an awakened Diablo and you have a team that can handle any content currently in the game.

Shiny Diablo

Shiny Diablo is a renamed version of the base Diablo unit, and he earns his own S-tier spot because the rename multiplier bonuses stack on top of Diablo's already massive base damage. The rename system in World Fighters isn't just cosmetic — it applies real stat increases that compound with existing multipliers.

The result is a unit that hits harder than regular Diablo while retaining all the same scaling advantages. If you've already farmed Diablo from Slime World, renaming him to the Shiny variant is one of the most efficient power upgrades available. No Gacha required.

A Tier — Excellent Units

A-tier units won't replace your S-tier carries, but they're strong enough to build around if you haven't pulled any Secrets or haven't reached Slime World yet. Several of these also fill specific roles that S-tier units don't cover as well.

Katakuri

Katakuri comes from the One Piece World Wanted system, making him farmable without Gacha. His primary strength is mid-game DPS — he tears through mob waves faster than most units at similar investment levels. He's also one of the most reliable mob-clearing units in the game, which matters when you're grinding for resources.

Katakuri falls short of S tier because his damage scaling doesn't keep up with Diablo or the Secret units once you hit endgame content. He's an excellent bridge unit and a solid second or third slot in your roster, but he won't carry you through Global Bosses the way the top 4 will.

Demon Rimuru

Demon Rimuru serves as the best bridge option for players who are working toward their first Secret Gacha pull. His baseline damage is strong, and he benefits from Tempest synergy when paired with other Slime World units. That synergy bonus pushes his effective output close to A+ territory in the right team compositions.

He's worth investing in even if you already have Diablo, because the Tempest synergy bonuses apply to both units when they're on the same team. Running Diablo plus Demon Rimuru gives you a Slime World core that handles most content without needing any Gacha luck.

Yoru / Dual Swords

Yoru and the Dual Swords are sword drops rather than traditional unit pulls, which puts them in a unique category. When combined, the Dual Swords setup can reach up to a 10x total power potential — a number that rivals Secret Gacha units on paper.

The reason they sit in A tier instead of S is consistency. Reaching that 10x ceiling requires specific conditions and optimal play. In practice, most players will see numbers closer to 6–7x in normal gameplay. Still, for a farmable equipment-based power source, the Dual Swords represent one of the strongest options in World Fighters as of May 2026.

B Tier — Good Units

B-tier units are the workhorses of early and mid-game progression. They won't impress anyone in the Cursed Bridge zone, but they'll get the job done until you can replace them with higher-tier options. Every new player will likely run at least one of these for their first several hours.

Ace

Ace drops from the Second World Wanted system, and he's the essential early-game carry. If you're a beginner, Ace should be your first priority pickup. He handles the first two worlds comfortably and gives you a stable foundation while you work toward Slime World and the Diablo grind.

Ace's damage doesn't scale well past the mid-game, which is why he lands in B tier rather than A. Once you have Katakuri or Demon Rimuru, Ace moves to a backup slot. But those first 5–10 hours of gameplay, he's invaluable.

Naruto (Renamed)

Naruto is available through the starter and Gacha systems, which makes him one of the most accessible units in the game. His base stats are underwhelming. However, running him through the rename system applies a 1.75x power multiplier that makes him a respectable mid-tier option.

The renamed version of Naruto is specifically what earns the B-tier placement. Without the rename, he'd sit firmly in C tier with the rest of the starter units. The 1.75x boost turns an average fighter into a functional team member who can contribute through mid-game content without embarrassing himself.

C Tier — Average Units

C-tier units are what you start with or pull from the earliest Gacha pools. They're not useless — every unit can clear early content — but they should be replaced as quickly as possible. Investing awakening resources into C-tier units is a trap that will slow your progression significantly.

Common and Uncommon Gacha units from the first few worlds fall here. They have low base stats, no meaningful multipliers, and their damage caps out well before you reach mid-game content. The same applies to non-renamed starter units — their base stats simply can't compete once you start facing Wanted bosses and Global Boss encounters.

If you're running a C-tier unit in your main roster past the first world, you're making the game harder than it needs to be. Prioritize farming Ace from the Second World Wanted system, then push toward Slime World for Diablo. The jump from C tier to B tier is the single biggest power increase most players will experience in their first play session.

World Fighters Tier List Summary Table

Here's the full ranking at a glance. Power Boost reflects each unit's maximum multiplier potential when fully optimized as of May 2026.

Whis S 5x power multiplier Secret Gacha
Secret Dragon S 4x power + flat +5 dmg Secret Gacha
Shiny Diablo S Diablo base + rename stack Rename Diablo
Katakuri A High mid-game DPS One Piece World (Wanted)
Demon Rimuru A Tempest synergy bonus Slime World
Yoru / Dual Swords A Up to 10x combined Sword drops
Ace B Solid early-game carry Second World (Wanted)
Naruto (Renamed) B 1.75x via rename Starter / Gacha + Rename
Common/Uncommon units C Base stats only Early Gacha / Starter

Quick priority path: New players should rush Ace from Second World, then farm Diablo from Slime World, then rename him to Shiny Diablo. That's a full S-tier carry without spending a single Robux on Gacha.

How We Ranked These Units

Our tier list uses four criteria, weighted by their impact on actual gameplay performance rather than theoretical maximums.

Raw damage output is the foundation. We tested each unit against the same enemy types in the Cursed Bridge zone and recorded their average DPS over 60-second windows. Units that couldn't survive the full test period in Cursed Bridge were tested in their highest-viable zone instead.

Power multipliers matter because they determine scaling potential. A unit with a 5x multiplier like Whis will always outpace a unit with a 1.75x multiplier like renamed Naruto, even if their base stats are comparable. The awakening system's permanent 2x bonus was factored into every unit's ceiling since all units have access to it.

Availability plays a real role in practical rankings. Diablo sits in S tier partly because any player can farm him. If we ranked purely on raw power, Whis and Secret Dragon would occupy the top two spots unchallenged. But a unit you can actually obtain is more useful than one you'll likely never pull. We've weighted this accordingly.

Team synergy is the final factor. Units like Demon Rimuru earn bonus points for Tempest synergy, and the Dual Swords setup gets credit for its unique equipment-based power curve. World Fighters rewards diverse rosters, so units that make the team around them stronger are valued higher than isolated damage dealers with no synergy benefits.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best unit in World Fighters right now?

As of May 2026, Diablo from the Slime World Wanted system is the best free-to-play unit. Among all units including Secret Gacha pulls, Whis holds the top spot with a 5x power multiplier that no other unit can match. For most players, Diablo is the more practical target since he's farmable without any Gacha luck.

How does the awakening system work in World Fighters?

Awakening permanently stacks a 2x damage multiplier on any unit. This bonus never expires and applies to all content types. You should prioritize awakening your highest-tier units first, since the 2x multiplier scales with their existing power. Awakening a C-tier unit doubles a small number; awakening Diablo doubles a massive one.

Is Diablo or Whis better in World Fighters?

Whis is technically stronger with a 5x power multiplier compared to Diablo's raw damage scaling. However, Diablo is farmable through the Slime World Wanted system while Whis is a Secret Gacha unit with extremely low drop rates. For the vast majority of players, Diablo is the more practical and reliable choice.

What are the rarity tiers in World Fighters?

World Fighters has 7 rarity tiers: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, Mythical, and Secret. Secret is the highest rarity and includes units like Whis and Secret Dragon, which are only obtainable through the Secret Gacha system. Most of the power in the game is concentrated in the Mythical and Secret tiers.

How does the rename system affect unit power?

Renaming a unit in World Fighters applies a multiplier bonus on top of the unit's base stats. For example, renaming Naruto gives a 1.75x power boost. Shiny Diablo gains additional rename multiplier bonuses that stack with his already high base damage. The rename system is one of the most efficient power upgrades available to free-to-play players.

What did the latest World Fighters update add?

Update 1 PT.2 dropped on April 29, 2026. It added the Cursed Bridge zone, 3 Global Bosses (Yuje, Sakana, and Satoro), the Cursed Spirits Gacha, Enchant Punks, and raised the Avatar cap to 35. This update significantly expanded endgame content and introduced new units that could shift the meta in future updates.
