Anime Expeditions just shipped its biggest patch yet: Update 1 "Warriors Saga" dropped August 10, 2026. It's a full Dragon Ball Z-themed content wave — new units, the endless Tower mode, two new maps, an Auto Play farming system, and an 11-event rotation. The game is sitting at roughly 118,000 concurrent players as of August 12, 2026, past 621 million total visits.

Current update: Update 1 (Warriors Saga)

Warriors Saga headlines with a batch of new units built around a DBZ homage. The top pulls are Prodigy / Prodigy (Rage) as a Secret and Cubert as a Limited Exclusive, backed by four Mythics: Bioinsect / Bioinsect (Final Form), Carrot / Carrot (Unleashed), The Drink / The Drink (Juicebox), and Vegetable / Vegetable (Prince). Prodigy (Rage) isn't a banner pull — you unlock it by finishing the new East Town NPC questline.

Two big systems arrive alongside the units. Tower mode is an endless-floor climb with randomized enemy resistances, seasonal units, and competitive leaderboards. Auto Play is a quality-of-life farming tool that places your units for you during routine runs and supports saved presets. The map side grows too: East Town ships in Story, Infinite, and Mastery variants with two Quest NPCs, while the West City Expedition adds Encounter nodes, building materials, upgrades, and a new Payload Skin feature.

Start with the free unit. Prodigy (Rage) comes from the East Town questline, not luck, so it's the one strong addition every player can guarantee — clear that storyline before you sink summons anywhere else. It also walks you through the new map's Story mode, which feeds Mastery progression.

Then lean on Auto Play for the grind. Set a preset for East Town Infinite or Mastery and let it farm materials while you chase Tower leaderboard runs manually, where placement actually matters against the randomized resistances. Save real summons for the Mythic banner if you're hunting Bioinsect or Vegetable, since those carry the current damage meta. What's next for Anime Expeditions?

Warriors Saga's 11-event rotation is the near-term clock — several of those events are time-boxed, and the Limited Exclusive Cubert leaves the pool when its window closes, so that's the pull you don't want to sleep on. The studio hasn't published a dated roadmap for Update 1.5 or 2, so any specific future units or modes are community speculation, not confirmed, and we won't list them here without a source.
