Azure Latch is an unofficial, fan-made Roblox soccer game built on the Blue Lock anime by the [B:S] Azure Latch Team, where 10-player matches are decided by individual skill — dribbles, feints, curve shots and one-on-one duels — rather than formations. What's the current Azure Latch update?
The current patch is Update 2.17, the Kaiser Mastery Update, live since August 24, 2026. The experience now runs on Roblox under the title [🌹 KAISER] Azure Latch, and the full breakdown sits in our Azure Latch update log.
One thing to get straight: 2.17 did not add Kaiser. Michael Kaiser has been a World Class style at a 0.4% roll chance for months, and the dev Trello still lists him there. What 2.17 added is Mastered Kaiser — a separate Mastery-tier style you earn rather than roll.
It arrives with a new T-Special, Emperor: a 35-second cooldown, passive Meta-Vision, and a Predator Eye preview that shakes the shot line the keeper sees around Kaiser's true aim. The real hook is Impact Stacks: each of three shaves 0.05s off Kaiser Impact's windup, dropping it from 0.35s to 0.20s before they fully reset on use.
Earning it takes 12,750 XP across 20 ranks, with a Magnus Superstar goal paying the most at 150 XP. Skill Builder also picked up a Custom Animation Editor for character and ball — Skill Builder itself is not new, having shipped in Update 2.13 on March 2, 2026. The Fandom wiki notes two things landed broken: the Kaiser × Kiyora chemical reaction, and global mastery tasks paying 0 XP.
Update 2.17 shipped fresh codes and the roster has rotated hard since our last pass, so the working list lives on our Azure Latch codes page. Two things to know first: the Fandom wiki states you must be in the [B:S] Azure Latch Team group before the redeem box accepts anything, and that box sits in the lobby menu, under the Rewards tab.
What's next for Azure Latch?
Very little is promised right now. The official dev Trello keeps a Sneak Peeks list for unreleased content, and as of August 26, 2026 every category on it — characters, gameplay reworks, new maps, VFX, MVP animations, emotes and titles — reads None. The board's most recent edit was August 24, 2026 at 14:52 UTC, when the Mastery Kaiser card was moved into the live styles list.
The only forward-looking statement left on the board is its When Update? card, which says updates land "every month, with some days being bug fixes, QOLs, and more" and refers to the next style only as "???". The shipped cadence backs that up: 2.13 on March 2, 2.16 on July 26, and 2.17 on August 24, 2026.
One caution, because it circulates widely: NEL Isagi and Mastered Don Lorenzo are not upcoming. Both sit in the board's Quest / Mastery Obtainable Styles list with matching live quest cards, so they are already earnable. Charles Chevalier appears only as a set of obtainable titles, and the Legendary 4.3% tier lists Kurona Ranze alone — treat "Chevalier is the next Legendary style" as unsourced until the developers post it.

Azure Latch swings hard on a daily cycle: our six-hourly samples logged 7,998 players in the 07:30 UTC dip on August 25 and 18,361 at the 01:30 UTC high on August 26. The Kaiser drop pushed it to a 30-day peak of 44,008 on Rolimon's around August 24, roughly four times the pre-update weekday median near 11,000.
