Dig & Clean's third numbered patch is live. Update 3 — Lava Lagoon arrived August 23, 2026 at 13:00 UTC with a new island, a new rarity, a new item condition, weather, daily quests, fifteen more gear tiers and two new game passes — plus its own launch code.

What's new in Update 3

Update 3 shipped as the event "UPDATE 3 + ADMIN ABUSE", published by Squeaky Clean! on the game's own Roblox page and timestamped August 23, 2026, 13:00 UTC. Its description is the only patch note released. In full:

• A new island, Lava Lagoon
• A new Paradox rarity
• A new PRISTINE condition
• 7 new items and 15 new gear tiers
• Daily quests and a Free Luck menu
• Rain weather — 2x cleaning speed
• An Auto Clicker pass and a +100 Storage pass
• QOL changes and bug fixes, plus the recurring limited-time Admin Abuse event

The patch is provable without a single tracker. The Squeaky Clean! group's own game record stamps the build at 12:43 UTC on August 23, seventeen minutes before the event opened. Both new passes are live and on sale on the Roblox game-pass API — Auto Clicker (02:03 UTC) and +100 Storage (04:59 UTC), both August 23. And our radar caught the surge: 179,580 concurrent players at 13:30 UTC, about four times a normal daytime peak.

What the studio did not publish. The listing names Paradox but never says where it sits against Anomaly, the ceiling since Update 2, and gives no drop rates. Nothing was published on how PRISTINE is rolled, what Free Luck grants, what triggers Rain, or what the 15 new gear tiers are called. Anyone quoting numbers for those is inventing them.

What this means for players

Redeem the new code first — the Luck boosts run on real-time timers, so they burn down whether you play or not. Then open the Free Luck menu, a permanent Luck source. Then dig Lava Lagoon. The 15 new gear tiers matter more than the island: chasing a Paradox on pre-Update-3 gear repeats the mistake Anomaly hunters made last week. Codes with this update

Every update so far has shipped its own code. Four codes are active as of August 25, 2026 — UPDATE3 plus UPDATE2 and the two Luck boosts from Update 1, none of them expired. Unlike Update 2, whose event description ended "Use code: UPDATE2", the Update 3 listing never named a code, so UPDATE3 rests on independent outlets rather than the studio. • August 10, 2026 — Update 1 (+ Admin Abuse): a new island, the Omega rarity (top tier until Update 2 overtook it), 5 new items, a second upstairs plot floor, and the game's first codes system (UPDATE1, SECRET10).

What's next for Dig & Clean?

Hours after Update 3 went live the developers posted a follow-up event on the same Roblox page: "UPDATE 4 + ADMIN ABUSE", set for August 30, 2026 at 13:00 UTC. We re-read it on August 25, 2026 and the description is still completely blank — only the date and the returning Admin Abuse event are confirmed. No features, no rarity, no code.

The cadence is weekly to the hour — August 10, 16, 23 and now 30, each at 13:00 UTC — and every patch has carried its own numbered code. Expect a UPDATE4 code; we will not list it until it works. One dating route stays shut: the game has zero Roblox badges, so we date builds from the event calendar, the group's publish stamp and our radar. Watch the Roblox page or our hub.
