Ink Game, by the Roblox group "games i think," drops 100 players into a sequence of deadly mini-games built on the Squid Game format, and sits at 3.26 billion visits as of August 16, 2026. Each round sheds a chunk of the field until one winner survives — or a group rebels and escapes together. The official round list runs to 13 games: Red Light Green Light, Dalgona, Lights Out, Hide n Seek, Tug of War, Jump Rope, Glass Stepping Stones, Mingle, Pentathlon and Last Dinner, closing through three endings — Rebel, Final Fight and Sky Squid Games. One widely misreported point: Marbles is not in the game; it is announced for after the Rebel Rework but has not released. Our beginner's guide walks each live round in order.

What's the current Ink Game update?

The Anniversary Update, released July 12, 2026, is still the live event as of August 16, 2026 — you can confirm it at a glance, because the game is still titled [🎂] Ink Game. It marks one year since launch on June 25, 2025, and it is a substantial patch rather than a cosmetic one:

• Admin Abuse rework — Peabert seizes control and forces a round of Red Light, Green Light while badearts snatch players; you throw goodberts to stun them. The second half is a gun fight against peaberts. 3 rounds, 5 minutes total.
• Anniversary Battlepass — 30 tiers, levelled by XP from Daily Quests (15/35/70/100 by rarity). Tier 25 gives the Cake Flex emote; Tier 30 gives Virtuoso, a limited guitar power.
• New powers — the Mythic Rumor joins the roll pool, and Chill Guy (Legendary) unlocks at Day 30 of the ninth Scheduled Rewards season. Both are ranked on our tier list.
• Anniversary balloons fall across the map, awarding 50M Won, a Revive Credit, a Power Roll or a Guard Power Roll. Peabert has returned at random spawns for power rolls.
• Reskins and content — every map redecorated, Onigiri replaced with a Cupcake and Kimbap with a Slice of Cake, plus 29 new Daily Quests and 96 new titles.

Two smaller patches followed: July 20, 2026 gave Private Server+ Anonymous Mode, Hide Chat Bubble and Disable Emotes (see our game passes breakdown), and August 1, 2026 cut Weapon Throw's damage from 36 to 18 in Lights Out.

What's next for Ink Game?

The next patch is the QoL & Balancing Update, dated by the developers only as sometime in August 2026 — the month is confirmed, the day is not. Two things are worth planning around:

• The Anniversary Battlepass ends this month. It retires with this update, so the Daily Quest grind for Virtuoso (Tier 30) has a deadline with no announced date.
• A power rebalance. Lightning God is confirmed for a nerf; Teleporting Gambit, Rumor, Virtuoso and The Magician are being buffed; Quicksilver gains a new passive. Full detail on the tier list.

Further out and undated, the developers have confirmed a Rebel Rework (arriving one route at a time, eventually adding a playable Frontman) and a Marbles gamemode after it. Treat both as announced, not imminent.
