MM2 of The Locust Beginner's Guide – Keys, Monster Chance & Surviving the Locust

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: August 28, 2026

This guide reads the game's own HUD rather than guessing at it. You will learn what the “/ 30 Keys” counter is asking for, how the Monster chance percentage picks the next Locust, how the lobby's green vote pads choose your map, and whether to press Buy or Skip when you die.

Know which game you are actually in

MM2 of The Locust is place 113385977463481 (universe 10576739951), published by the Roblox group THE STALKERS OG on July 27, 2026 and last republished on August 21, 2026 at 21:18 UTC. Roblox files it under Survival with the sub-genre “1 vs All”, and servers cap at 30 players. Its own description still calls it a “PRE-ALPHA VERSION (expect bugs)”.

Two name traps are worth clearing before you search for anything. The MM2 here is the round format, not Nikilis's Murder Mystery 2 — a separate, far larger game whose codes and weapons do not carry over. And this is not House of The Locust, a different developer's game on place 86247128610772. That one is a dark first-person mansion escape; almost every article you will find about “the Locust game” is about it, not about this one. We checked both side by side and their menus share nothing.

Why that matters: House of The Locust puts a Revive button on a spectate screen in a wallpapered corridor. MM2 of The Locust drops you into bright, cartoon round maps — a carnival boardwalk, a clothing store, a food court, a night-time street — with a lobby, a map vote and a Key economy. Advice written for one is useless in the other.

Read the round clock and the player count

The top of the screen carries a countdown and a live player count. The countdown changes meaning depending on where you stand.

Treat the count as a threat meter: once it falls into single digits, hiding spots that worked at twenty players stop working.

Collect all 30 Keys — the counter is a target

Bottom-left of the screen sits a gold key icon with a fraction beside it. In round it reads “0 / 30 Keys”. That denominator is the point: each map holds 30 Keys, and the counter is telling you how many of them you have picked up so far. A Portuguese-language client renders the same element as “0 / 30 Chaves”, which confirms it is one translated label rather than two different systems.

Separately, a gold pill near the top-left shows a running Keys balance that persists between rounds. We logged balances of 53, 75, 82, 202, 207 and 270 across different players, and watched one player's balance climb from 202 to 270 over the course of a single recording. So Keys accumulate; they are not wiped when the round ends.

The beginner mistake: treating Keys as scenery. They are the currency the death screen asks for, so a round spent collecting is a round that buys you a second life later. Pick up Keys while the player count is still high and the Locust is busy elsewhere.

Vote for your map on the green pads

The lobby is a light-blue room with a red carpet, and framed pictures hang along the wall. Each frame is a preview of a map, and in front of each frame is a green pad. Standing on a pad casts your vote, and a floating tally above it updates live — we captured pads reading “0 votes” and one reading “9 votes”.

Three frames were visible in the widest lobby shot we could read, each with its own pad. Because the intermission is only about a minute, walk to your pad as soon as you spawn. Your role card appears in this same window: a yellow-bordered box that names your role, and the one we captured repeatedly reads “Innocent” in green text.

A wooden lobby sign reads “Like and Join the Group for More Update!” — that group is THE STALKERS OG, the only channel the game points you at. There is no official Discord in the description, and a server advertising itself for this game predates the developer's Roblox account, so it is not the real one.

Survive the Locust: Sprint and the timed abilities

The Locust is the monster: a tall, black, spindly figure with spike-thin limbs that carries a knife, and its kills leave red decals on the floor. One Locust hunts everyone else, which is exactly what Roblox's “1 vs All” sub-genre tag describes.

You get a dedicated Sprint button in the bottom-right corner, above the jump control. It is labelled Corrida on a Portuguese client and Esprint on a Spanish one — again, one button, auto-translated. Alongside it we captured an ability panel listing three lines:

Save Invisible for the corner, not the corridor. Fifteen seconds is barely two map lengths at normal speed, so burning it in the open wastes it. The 20-second Speed window is the escape tool; the 15-second Invisible window is the reset tool for when the Locust has already seen you.

Decide the Revive prompt in one second

When you go down, a pink heart appears over your body reading Revive with a number under it, plus a green Buy button and a red Skip button. The number is not fixed. We captured it at 10, at 14 and at 15 in three different rounds, so budget for a range rather than a set price.

Early in a round, when the player count is high and the map's 30 Keys are largely uncollected, buying back in is usually worth it. Late in a round with four or five players left, Skip and bank the Keys — the next map resets the counter anyway.

Read Monster chance before you spend 99 Robux

Bottom-left, under the Key counter, a yellow line reads “Monster chance: 40%”. That is the game telling you your odds of being drawn as the Locust in the next round. It is a live readout, so it is worth glancing at during every intermission.

Above it, in the top bar, sits a standing offer: “Be the monster next round?” with a green 99 R$ button — 99 Robux to skip the draw and play the Locust. It is sold as an in-game product, not a game pass, so you will not find it on the store tab: the game's game-pass listing is completely empty. It is only worth buying when your Monster chance is low; at a reading like 40% you have decent odds of being picked for free.

Your progress sits beside those numbers. A Level badge with a fill bar tracks experience — we logged Level 1 through Level 5, rendered as Nivel 5 on a Spanish client — and levels also float above other players' heads in the lobby, so you can read the room's experience at a glance. A separate moon-icon counter tracks Nights, reading “Night: 0” for a fresh player and climbing through Night: 3, 4 Nights and 6 Nights as rounds pass.

The game in numbers

This game is mid-breakout, and that changes how its player count should be reported. Our radar first saw it on August 27, 2026 and has only six readings — taken across a climb from 8,340 to 64,166. A median across a spike like that is meaningless, so we are publishing the dated trajectory instead of a single average:

Reading (UTC)Players in game
August 27, 07:308,340
August 27, 13:3014,899
August 27, 19:3036,936
August 28, 01:3040,843
August 28, 13:3031,291
August 28, 19:3064,166
8,340–64,166Players, Aug 27–28 range
9,509,560Visits, Aug 28 20:26 UTC
82.4%Rating, Aug 28 20:26 UTC
30Players per server

The rating is 5,792 likes against 1,238 dislikes as of August 28, 2026 at 20:26 UTC, and the game had 30,336 favourites at the same check. For context on what a settled hit looks like, compare those figures with the games on our best Roblox games list.

One honest note on codes, because it is the first thing people search: we found no redemption system and no working codes for MM2 of The Locust as of August 28, 2026 — the description contains no code and no redeem instruction, and the game's badge, game-pass and virtual-event listings are all empty. That is why there is no codes table on this page.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is MM2 of The Locust the same game as Murder Mystery 2?

No. This is place 113385977463481 from the group THE STALKERS OG, published July 27, 2026. Murder Mystery 2 is a separate, far older game by Nikilis. The MM2 in this title refers to the round format, and none of Murder Mystery 2's codes, weapons or values carry over. Roblox files this one under Survival / 1 vs All, with servers capped at 30 players.

What are Keys for in MM2 of The Locust?

Keys are the round currency. The in-round counter reads “/ 30 Keys”, so each map holds 30 to collect, and balances persist between rounds — we logged players carrying 53 up to 270. Keys are what the death screen asks for: the Revive prompt quotes a price with a green Buy and a red Skip. We captured it at 10, 14 and 15, so the cost varies.

Does MM2 of The Locust have codes?

No redemption system and no working codes as of August 28, 2026. The Roblox description contains no code and no redeem instruction, and the badge, game-pass and virtual-event listings are all empty. That is why this guide carries no codes table. If the developer adds a redeem box we will cover it separately rather than guess at it now.

About This Guide

Written August 28, 2026 for universe 10576739951, place 113385977463481 — verified by place ID, because a near-identically themed game by a different developer sits on place 86247128610772. Stats come from Roblox's games and votes endpoints and six dated radar readings; the publish stamp from the group's gamesV2 listing. The mechanics above were read off recorded gameplay frames from more than a dozen independent uploads, not from a play session of our own — every number quoted is one we could see on screen, and where a value moved between recordings we printed the range. We deliberately publish no map list, no weapon table, no ability shop prices and no Sheriff role: we could read an Innocent role card and the Locust itself, but found no evidence of an armed third role, and the auto-generated wiki sites that claim otherwise were registered during this game's traffic spike. Our sourcing rules are on the how we verify page. Out of date? Tell us in our Discord.
