RUNAWAYS [beta] is an open-world crime and escape game by supercat games in which you rob, pawn and blow open your way south — Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas, then the Mexican border — with a five-star wanted level chasing you. Live since April 23, 2025, it is the group's only public experience.
Looking for codes? RUNAWAYS has no code redemption system at all as of August 21, 2026 — a stronger statement than "no active codes". There is no redeem box to type one into, established four ways on our RUNAWAYS codes page. Any site showing you a table of RUNAWAYS codes wrote it themselves.

There is still no version number, no patch notes and no changelog from supercat games, so the answer is a timestamp, not a name — and the timestamps disagree. The games API records the last update as August 19, 2026 at 18:02 UTC; the developer-side gamesV2 publish stamp reads August 11, 2026 at 15:37 UTC. We quote both.
What the bump did not do is measurable. All 11 badges date from July 7 or July 16, 2026 with none added since, so no new checkpoint, region or tracked milestone arrived. The description is unchanged too — the premise plus the seven-key control scheme our beginner's guide breaks down.
What changed is the audience. The Welcome badge, awarded the first time a player loads in, held 1,352,746 players on August 16, 2026 and 5,399,900 on August 21 — four million in five days, on a patch nobody announced. Roblox promoted the group to community tier 3 on August 19, 2026; membership went from 40,956 on August 17 to 110,031 today.
What's next for RUNAWAYS?
UPDATE 1, starting 00:00 UTC on August 22, 2026. supercat games published a Roblox event listing under that exact title, categorised as a new feature, on August 15, 2026; it runs to 00:00 UTC on August 29 and the studio last edited it at 05:45 UTC on August 21. Its subtitle and description are literally "???" — but the date is the developer's own.
A second dev-side signal agrees: a new vehicle pass called Mudrunner (Speed 5, Acceleration 4, Handling 4, Armor 3) was created on August 20, 2026 and is not yet on sale — the first pass created since May 22, 2026.
A correction. This hub previously said the virtual-events API returned nothing and that we had found no official Discord. Both were wrong: the UPDATE 1 event already existed on August 15, and supercat games runs a Discord named RUNAWAYS (vanity runaways-roblox) whose listing reads "Official server for RUNAWAYS" and whose invite was created by emile — the display name of group owner Plutonem. It held 2,571 members on August 21, 2026.
