What Is Slayerbound?

Slayerbound is an anime action RPG built by MiraiInc, heavily inspired by Demon Slayer. You start as a low-level fighter, pick a race, train a combat path, and grind demons and Onis to climb through zones. The loop is classic Roblox anime grinder: quests, mastery, bosses, and rerolls.

The game is on its 2.2 update as of June 2026 and gets patched regularly. What sets it apart from older titles is the depth of its clan system. There are 20+ families to roll, each with its own buffs, sitting on top of your chosen race and breathing style.

If you've played other anime fighters, the bones will feel familiar, but the combat pacing leans toward parry timing and stamina management rather than spamming abilities. Getting a strong clan early changes how every fight feels.

Key Features and Core Mechanics

Three systems decide how strong your character ends up: your race, your breathing style or demon art, and your clan roll. Here's how each one works and where the meaningful choices are.

Races: Human vs Demon

Your race sets your entire combat kit. Humans use Breathing Styles such as Water, Flame, Wind and Thunder. Demons use Blood Demon Arts like Arrow, String, Shockwave and Swamp, each with different damage, cooldowns and blockable properties.

Switching between the two completely rewrites your moveset, so it's not a casual choice. The 2.2 update added a Race Reset reward, which means you can experiment without restarting your account. Save a reset for after you've tested both kits in real fights.

Breathing Styles

For Humans, the breathing style is your main damage source. Thunder Breathing is the top pick for raw burst, but it's the hardest to unlock: you climb the mountain near Snow Village, gather 6 Wheat and 3 Eggs for the Candy quest, then return to the trainer at the summit.

Water Breathing is the beginner-friendly path. You find the trainer near the Wheat Fields waterfall, clear a short parkour and rock-breaking section, then pay 2000 Yen each time you set it active. Flame Breathing wants 40 Oni Horns from strong Onis, and Wind Breathing needs the Giga Horn boss drop from Sea Village.

Clans and the Reroll Pity System

Clans stack a passive buff on top of your race and style. Tsugikuni is the strongest family, a Legendary clan with balanced health, stamina, regeneration and bonus damage after a parry. It's good on every build, which is why it sits at the top of community tier lists.

The roll odds are steep. You have roughly an 80% chance of a Common clan with no buffs, around 25% for a Rare, and only 5% for an Epic. A pity system guarantees an Epic or higher on your 50th spin, and the counter resets if you hit Epic or Legendary earlier. That's why batching spins matters.

Tips and Strategies

Bank your spins: Don't reroll your clan one spin at a time. Hold every spin you earn from codes and quests until you have at least 50, then dump them in one go. The pity guarantee makes that 50th spin an Epic or better, so you skip the wall of useless Commons.

Pick a cheap starter style: Water or Flame are more forgiving for new players and far cheaper to set up than Thunder. Learn parry timing on one of those first, then graduate to Thunder once you can survive the Snow Village mountain climb.

Grind smart, not single bosses: For day-to-day leveling, dense demon spawn areas out-XP chasing one boss. Chain delivery quests between fights so you're earning quest rewards and combat XP at the same time.

Pro Tip: Redeem RESET2 and STATS2 before you commit to a build. A free stat reset lets you respec into the style you actually unlocked, so you don't waste early points on a path you abandon by level 20.

Stack mastery boosters: Buy mastery boosters from the in-game shop and activate them right before a long grind session. If you run a 2x XP source on top, style mastery climbs noticeably faster, which is the gate on your strongest moves.

Use clan buffs in groups: A strong clan's regeneration and post-parry damage stack with race bonuses and your style. Pairing a good clan with an aggressive parry playstyle is how high-level players out-trade Onis that would otherwise out-stat them.

How to Earn Free Robux for Slayerbound

Codes cover spins and resets, but they don't buy gamepasses. Slayerbound sells optional XP and yen multipliers and convenience perks that typically land in the 99 to 499 Robux range, and those passes are the fastest way to cut grind time. If you'd rather not spend cash, Earnaldo lets you earn free Robux by completing simple tasks, then put it toward a 2x XP pass.

Frequently Asked Questions

What are the working Slayerbound codes in June 2026?

Working codes include UPDATE2, UPDATE1, RESET2, STATS2, SPEEDO, INSECT, KAITO, KILLA, THXKILLA, 10KLIKES, 1MVISITS, 300KVISITS, PEAKPLAYERS and GOSLAYERBOUND. Most reward free spins, with a few giving stat resets, race resets and yen. Copy and paste them exactly, since codes are case sensitive.

What is the best breathing style in Slayerbound?

Thunder Breathing is rated the strongest for damage, but it's the hardest to unlock because you must climb the mountain near Snow Village and finish the Candy quest with 6 Wheat and 3 Eggs. New players should start with Water or Flame, which are cheaper and more forgiving.

What is the strongest clan in Slayerbound?

Tsugikuni is the strongest clan. It's a Legendary family with balanced buffs to health, stamina, regeneration and bonus damage after a parry, which makes it strong on any build. Most Common clans give no buffs, so reroll them as soon as you can.

How does the clan reroll pity system work?

Each spin has about an 80% chance for Common, 25% for Rare and 5% for Epic. A pity system guarantees an Epic or higher clan on your 50th spin, and the counter resets if you roll Epic or Legendary earlier. Save your spins and use 50 at once for the best odds.

How do you unlock Flame Breathing?

Flame Breathing needs 40 Oni Horns, which drop from the strong Onis around Demon Camp. Grind those Onis until you have all 40 horns, then return to the Flame trainer. Wind Breathing instead requires the Giga Horn boss drop from Sea Village.

Should I play as a Human or a Demon?

Humans use Breathing Styles like Water, Flame, Wind and Thunder, while Demons use Blood Demon Arts such as Arrow, String, Shockwave and Swamp. Your full combat loop changes between them, so pick the kit you enjoy and use a Race Reset code if you want to switch later.

How do you level up fast in Slayerbound?

Mix delivery quests with combat quests, run mastery boosters from the shop, and farm demons in dense spawn areas instead of chasing single bosses. A strong clan adds buffs, and codes keep your spins and resets topped up so your build stays optimized.

Is Slayerbound still being updated in 2026?

Yes. The game is on the 2.2 update as of June 2026, with new codes added on June 6, 2026 for a race or style reset and 50 clan spins. Developer MiraiInc posts patch notes and codes in the official Discord.
