Animal Hospital (Roblox) is the co-op survival-horror sim where you work the night shift at an animal clinic, screening patients and rejecting the anomalies hiding among the normal ones. What's the current Animal Hospital update?

The live version is Harlow's Favorite Update, which launched July 10, 2026 as a limited 48-hour event and pushed the game past 1.2 million concurrent players at its peak. It is the biggest content drop since the game left its early shifts behind, and it's built almost entirely around giving you better tools to catch anomalies.

The headline additions are two detection items. The Scanner ($150 in-game, or a starting item for the Secret Agent class) glows green on a normal patient, red on an anomaly, and yellow when no patient is detected, on a 120-second cooldown. The Deployable Camera works like a placeable CCTV unit you can set almost anywhere. Class loadouts shifted too: the Security class now starts Levels 2 and 3 with a Deployable Camera alongside its X-Taser, and the Secret Agent begins Level 1 with both a Scanner and a Gun. The patch also added a reworked Dr. Harlow model and interactions, a new caracal-like NPC named Liz — the game's first interactive female character, who appears around Shift 10 carrying a UV camera — plus a sneakier Stalker that can now disguise itself as a patient (photograph it and it leaves), new anomaly animations, and bug fixes.

What's next for Animal Hospital?

The next event, The Hazmat Team Arrives, is confirmed on the game's official Roblox events listing for Friday, July 24, 2026, running as a multi-day window into July 27. The in-game teaser reads simply "The hazmat team is here," and the promo art shows a rabbit NPC seated at a news-style desk, hinting at a wider in-world event. Exact mechanics, classes, and rewards have not been published yet, so we're not listing any until Animal Anomaly ships them — check back here after July 24.
