You and up to three others work the night shift at a hospital for anthropomorphic animals: check patients in, scan them for a condition, apply the right treatment, and spot the anomalies moving among them. Two things end a run — your Sanity meter reaching 0%, which kills you outright, and the three animal deaths Dr. Harlow warns about at Shift 6. The players figure is the median of the seven radar samples taken since the Second Floor patch went live (September 5, 16:00 UTC to September 7, 07:30 UTC; low 71,090, high 201,767). The 21 samples before it, August 31 to September 5, had a median of 64,815 — so the patch roughly two-and-a-half-timed the concurrent player base rather than the game fading, which is what the numbers on this page said a week ago.

Does Animal Hospital Have a Code Redemption System?

No. Four checks on September 7, 2026, against sources that do not copy each other:

The live game description, from the Roblox games API: “You got hired to work the night shift at Animal Hospital, its now your job to treat the patients… but some patients are acting weird...” There is no code block and no mention of one.
The game's wiki (animal-hospital.fandom.com, 2,913 pages, last edited September 7, 2026): Codes, Code, Redeem and Promo Codes are all missing pages, and a full-text search for the phrase “redeem code” returns zero hits anywhere on the wiki. Its changelog runs to 12 dated entries from the May 10 release to Second Floor; not one adds a code system.
The developer's channels. The Animal Anomaly group (1,803,689 members on September 7, 2026) is where updates are announced, by community manager Valentina. Its shout was empty again on September 7, and no code has ever appeared there or in the group's seven public forums.
Two independent trackers. TheSpike (updated September 6, 2026) and Dexerto France (September 1) both publish an empty list; Dexerto states outright that the game “does not yet offer a dedicated menu” for codes.

Will Animal Hospital Get Codes?

Nothing is announced. The Second Floor patch shipped on September 5, 2026 at 16:00 UTC — the Roblox event Animal Anomaly filed for it ran September 5–7 — and what it actually added, per the wiki changelog, is the second floor itself, a Lab, a Sampler tool and a serum-crafting mechanic built on sampling patients' DNA, four new lab items (Milk, Ginger, Strange Jelly and Mushroom), a Clown character, six new skins and new Journal achievements. No code system, and the live description carries no code.

The next patch is already dated. Animal Anomaly filed a second Roblox event, “Next Update”, at 17:44 UTC on September 5 — less than two hours after Second Floor opened — scheduled for September 19, 2026 at 16:00 UTC, and the wiki's own countdown carries the same timestamp. The wiki states updates run bi-weekly, which the May-to-September log bears out. That patch or a likes milestone is the realistic first opening for codes, but the event brief, the group and the wiki's Upcoming Content page (“Currently unknown”) all announce nothing of the sort.

How to Get Free Rewards in Animal Hospital Without Codes

Animal Coins are what a code would pay out, and the game already gives them away:

Shifts pay directly: 2 Animal Coins per patient treated, 0.5 per anomaly prevented, 0.5 per visitor admitted.
The Shopkeeper Nurse sells them mid-run: 100 in-game dollars buys 1–3 coins at the store, which unlocks at the end of Shift 2.
The Journal pays out. Added July 25, 2026 in the Hazmat Team update: filling in the anomalies, characters and achievements you have met claims coins.
Early shifts unlock gear free. Dr. Harlow unlocks the shutters and cameras at the end of Shift 1, the Emergency Wing and the store at the end of Shift 2, and the taser at the end of Shift 3.
Classes level for free. You start on the free Intern; all 11 classes level from shift EXP, and Animal Coins buy only classes and cosmetic skins — see our Animal Hospital free Robux guide.

Spotting a fake: any “gem code” list is invented — the only currencies are Animal Coins in the lobby and Money ($) inside a run. And if a code you found somewhere does nothing, that is the reason: there is no field to type it into. Check which game you launched, too — “[X5] +1 Speed Animal Hospital Escape” (place ID 128451089833830) is a different experience with an overlapping name, and its concurrent player count has read zero on every radar sample since September 2, 2026.
