Animal Hospital (Anomaly) is a co-op anomaly-spotting horror game — Roblox files it under Survival — where four of you work a night shift and spot which patients are not patients. Second Floor is still the live build; more on our hub.

Animal Anomaly filed this as a Roblox event on August 22 titled “Next Update”, renaming it “Second Floor” on August 28; read on September 6 it ran 16:00:37 UTC, September 5 to September 7. It has since rolled off the virtual-events feed, which proves nothing either way. The publish stamp for universe 10148749921 moved at 16:04:10 UTC — a build shipping, not a counter drifting.
The developer wrote no patch notes. The live description, re-read at 20:15 UTC on September 7, 2026, carries only the original night-shift blurb, and the [2nd FLOOR] tag names a theme, not a version. Everything below is the community changelog, diffed via the wiki API.
What Second Floor changes for players
A new floor. The upper floor is up a ward-corridor stairwell around aisles 6 to 8, signposted UPPER FLOOR. All Things How says it opens after your first ambulance visit; the wiki's Upper Floor page is a stub, so that is single-sourced. The tutorial shifts are untouched: Dr. Harlow still unlocks shutters and cameras after Shift 1, the taser after Shift 3, per the wiki's Shifts page.
The Lab and the DNA loop. The Sampler, a new tool from its case in the Lab, pulls DNA from a patient in bed; the sequencer minigame upstairs lands it in a dish, pink from a regular patient, green from an anomaly. Feed it a three-step sequence of the four new lab items — Milk, Ginger, Strange Jelly and Mushroom — then press a Glass Vial after a 30-second timer. Pink serums are thrown at patients, green ones drunk. Recipes are still being edited, so treat them as provisional; our beginner's guide covers the shift loop.
Six skins, a redesign and a clown. The changelog listed four new skins at 03:54 UTC on September 6 and six by 08:54 that same day: Maid Intern, Maid Secretary, Training Doctor, Maid Head Nurse, Agent Maid and Wolf Agent. The same revision named the clown — Squiggles, date-added September 5 — and added the Sampler, the serum mechanic and new Journal achievements. The 14:06 UTC September 7 revision adds one line: the Nurse's Fluffy Skin was redesigned, a rework rather than a seventh skin. Nothing is tagged (unapplied) or (unmentioned), so it reads as shipped.
