Forsaken Roblox — Guides, Codes & Tips (2026)

By Money Lord — Founder & Editor | Updated: August 26, 2026

Updated August 22, 2026 — Swapped the current-update section from Azure to the RTD collab, refreshed every stat against the Roblox API, and rewrote the gameplay description, which did not match how Forsaken plays.

Forsaken is Roblox's biggest asymmetric horror game — one Killer against a lobby of Survivors, and it won Best Survival Experience at the 2025 Roblox Innovation Awards. It averages 61,580 concurrent players (our radar's 7-day median, August 22, 2026) across 5,538,895,925 lifetime visits. This hub gathers every guide, comparison and patch note we publish for the game.

What's the current Forsaken update?

The live event is the Retro Tower Defense collab, which opened at 17:00 UTC on August 21, 2026 and closes at 17:00 UTC on September 4. The catch worth knowing up front: you earn the Forsaken skins by playing Retro Tower Defense, not Forsaken. Three badges there unlock Retro Defense for Jane Doe, Hyperlaser for Chance and 4x4x4x4 for 1x1x1x1, and a fourth skin, Forest Mage for Dusekkar, sits in the Forsaken shop for 800 Player Points. Double EXP is running alongside it. Badge requirements, award counts and the full dated history are in our Forsaken update log.

Before that, the last content patch was Azure on July 17, 2026, which added Azure (Azurewrath) as the 8th and priciest Killer at 2,000 Cash. The collab brought no balance changes and no new characters.

How Forsaken actually plays

Each server holds up to 9 players: a lobby of Survivors and one Killer. Survivors complete objectives around the map and stay alive until the round timer hits zero. The Killer has to eliminate every one of them. When only one Survivor is left, the round shifts into a Last Man Standing phase with its own music and visuals, and the survivor either escapes or doesn't.

You pick a character, not a loadout. As of August 22, 2026 there are 8 playable Killers and 12 playable Survivors, each with a fixed kit. Survivors fall into roles the community wiki names directly: Sentinels like Shedletsky and Two Time stun the Killer and soak damage for the team, while Support picks like Elliot and Dusekkar trade health for healing and protection. Killers range from c00lkidd, handed to you free the first time you play, up to Azure at 2,000 Cash.

Everything else is cosmetic. Player Points buy skins and emotes, not power, so a new account is short on character variety rather than stats. Forsaken has no code redemption system as of August 22, 2026 — the wiki still lists one as upcoming only — so any "Forsaken codes" list elsewhere is invented. Our Forsaken codes page has the honest breakdown.

What's next for Forsaken?

Nothing is officially dated, so treat all of this as a tease, not a roadmap. The one first-party item is 🌴 SUMMER GAMES: on August 22, 2026 the verified Forsaken Dev Team group posted a Roblox virtual-event listing for it, promising a new cosmetics pass. Its window is a placeholder — December 31, 2099 — so no real date exists yet. Randomizer and The Spectre's Favor have community-wiki pages, but both are work-in-progress stubs and the wiki's own "Upcoming Events For The Future" list, edited August 24, 2026, names only Deep Sea Expedition (a placeholder name) and Summer Games. We won't guess dates — the update log gets them the moment there are any.

Why Play Forsaken?

The draw is the cast. Forsaken builds its roster out of Roblox's own history — c00lkidd, John Doe, 1x1x1x1, Guest 666, Shedletsky, Builderman — and no two kits play alike. Azure sets sound-triggered traps and zones you out of a room; others hunt on raw chase pressure. Learning a map is half the job. The other half is learning which of the 8 Killers you drew and what their cooldowns look like.

The community does the analysis in public. The FORSAKEN Wiki logs patch notes down to individual cooldown tweaks, and the developers ship in bursts — a Killer drop, then a bug-fix patch days later, as with Azure on July 17 and patch 5.0.1 on July 22, 2026. Crossovers are a habit here, not a one-off; Retro Tower Defense is simply the current one.

Two caveats. The game is still labelled ALPHA in its own Roblox description despite launching in July 2024, so systems get reworked out from under you. And while the like ratio is a strong 84.7% as of August 22, 2026, those 423,780 downvotes are real — one Killer against eight is swingy when a lobby refuses to cooperate.

Tip: Stack Earnaldo tasks between Forsaken runs to build up free Robux. Even small daily sessions add up, and the Robux can go toward game passes like the 599 Robux V.I.P pass (25% permanent EXP) or the 749 Robux Azure Pack, both priced as of August 22, 2026.
