There are 3 working The Wild West codes as of August 26, 2026: SCORCHEDOBSIDIANSTARBLOCKERS for the Bounty Hunter Shades, TOOTHYFOOTBALL for the Gerald Holster and 300M for Merwin’s Snubnose. All three hand you exclusive gear you cannot buy from a vendor. Codes are rare in this game — these three are the only ones Starboard Studios has ever issued.

Audit: On August 26, 2026 we cross-checked this list against three independent sources: the community-run The Wild West Wiki Codes page (last edited August 20, 2026 and marked current for version 4.4.0), Roblox Den (last checked August 25, 2026) and Game Rant (updated August 17, 2026). All three list the same three active codes and zero expired codes. The 300M code also still sits in the game’s own Roblox description. We do not have in-game access and do not claim to redeem codes ourselves — see how we verify codes.

All The Wild West Codes (August 2026)

These codes are confirmed working as of August 26, 2026. None of them has ever been retired, but redeem them anyway — the Merwin’s Snubnose reward has already had its behaviour changed once since launch.

SCORCHEDOBSIDIANSTARBLOCKERS is the newest code and grants the Bounty Hunter Shades. The wiki records that it was handed out through the community Discord’s 2026 Summer Festival events, where the clues leading to it took players more than 52 hours to decrypt. TOOTHYFOOTBALL grants the Gerald Holster; per the wiki it leaked through a Discord event a day before the developers announced it. 300M celebrated the game passing 300 million visits and grants Merwin’s Snubnose, a compact sidearm no vendor sells — it is still advertised in the game’s own Roblox description. All three items come only from the code system.

There are no expired The Wild West codes as of August 26, 2026. The wiki, Roblox Den and Game Rant all list an empty expired archive: in the eight months since the code system launched, Starboard Studios has never retired one. We do not pad this table with invented old codes — when a real code dies, it will appear below.

How to Redeem Codes in The Wild West

Redeeming codes in The Wild West takes about 30 seconds. Follow these steps exactly and you will have your rewards in no time.

1. Launch The Wild West on Roblox and wait for your save to load completely
2. Open the side menu on the left of the screen (Roblox Den describes the entry point as the hat-and-book icon)
3. Click the Codes button in that side menu to open the codes window
4. Type your code into the text box exactly as shown
5. Click the Redeem button to claim your reward

Your reward is added to your inventory. Each code can only be redeemed once per account, and the wiki notes that code items were not reclaimable if a player discarded them — Merwin’s Snubnose was discardable when it first launched before the developers removed that option, and anyone who threw it away could not get it back.

Why Are My Codes Not Working?

If a code is not working for you, there are a few common issues to check before assuming the code has expired.

Capitalisation Is Not the Problem

Most Roblox code guides tell you the capitalisation must match. In The Wild West it does not: the official wiki states plainly that these codes are not case sensitive. We previously published the opposite here, and that was wrong. The wiki does document a real constraint, though — a code must be between 2 and 50 characters and may only use standard English letters, numbers, dashes and underscores, so anything you paste with a stray symbol in it will be rejected. Copying the code straight from this page is still the safest route.

Already Redeemed

Each code can only be redeemed once per account. If you have already claimed a code on your current Roblox account, trying to enter it again will show an error message. There is no way to redeem the same code twice, even if you use a different device.

Extra Spaces

If you copy a code from another website or a social media post, there may be invisible spaces before or after the text. These trailing spaces will cause the redemption to fail. After pasting a code, check both ends of the text box and delete any blank characters.

Server Issues

Occasionally, The Wild West servers experience high traffic during major updates or code releases. If the code system is not responding, try switching to a less populated server or waiting a few minutes before trying again.

Starboard Studios releases codes through its official channels. Watch these to catch new codes first:

• Follow @PlayWildWest on X (Twitter) for milestone and update announcements.
• Join the official The Wild West Discord, where developers sometimes post codes before anywhere else.
• Check the Starboard Studios Roblox community and the game's description for pinned codes.

Observed cadence: codes are genuinely rare here, and we would rather say so than invent activity. The system arrived with the Christmas 2025 (Winter Wonder) update in version 4.2, and in the eight months since then exactly three codes have shipped — 300M and TOOTHYFOOTBALL by mid-January 2026, then nothing at all until SCORCHEDOBSIDIANSTARBLOCKERS around the start of July 2026. That is roughly one code per quarter. A wiki editor made the same point in an edit summary in May 2026, noting codes are not "often" released. Bookmark this page and we will add new codes the moment they are verified.

When Are New The Wild West Codes Released?

There is no set schedule. Based on the pattern so far, expect new codes around big visit milestones (the next likely being 400 million), seasonal events like the Christmas update that first introduced codes, and community events on the official Discord — that last route is how the Bounty Hunter Shades code reached players. The Wild West is an established 2018 title sitting on 340.2 million visits and 623,800 likes as of August 26, 2026, and the wiki currently marks it at version 4.4 (Dueling 2.0), so a 400-million milestone code is the most reasonable thing to watch for next.
